3 of these to be back up players and 2 of which for first 11.

We had 3 first team players out suspended injured and illegible.
By the fact we have that many good players out and the back ups got the job done, I disagree with your opinion of needing FIVE new players.

Bang on couldn’t agree more. We missed Flan and Coulibaly tonight.
That wasn’t good to watch tonight and I think we were too cautious. However 2 more games to go and we are in the group stages.
I honestly did not expect that quite so soon. I would have been happy to get Euro run next season.

I agree we need 3 players (cb, am, cf) to have full cover, but when you look at our best first 11 as the team takes shape, I think it's that no10 that we need in the first team.
Someone who takes the ball with composure and has that bit of class to open the door.
The other positions need some depth. Be great if we can get better, but need a level of cover.
