Lad was on standby for the world cup 4 years ago there's a player in there looking to kick start his career at the nice age of 25 we could realistically get 4 really good years out of him

With him in and tav gone our defence is solid. Flan can cover at left back as well so is versatile. Cheese flan that is.

if we can get flanagan to discover his previous form again it might allow us to play tav further up the park i have no interest in selling tav he is one of our most talented players a year under the guidance of gerrard and mccallister could see his value rise much higher than 3.5m

Stoke, i would take him in aswel if we sell tav. But i don't think tav would want to leave (hope he doesnt) .

The Flanagan deal is a hard one. What he did was disgraceful and cowardly. However the boys profession is a footballer and he is a good one at that. Personally I think everyone makes mistakes and we all deserve another chance. i'm positive the boy regrets what he did every single day. So on those thoughts I think it would be a no brainier signing the boy.

He is a far better player than Tav! Tav can't defend, that is quite an immportant attribute to have at right back.

I think (not that its important) I was the first on here to mention Flanagan possible interest and had my say on him. Excellent player.
My wife would give him a second chance daughter would castrate him with a rusty knife.
