Swansea want Tavernier for 3 mil according to Walesonline, personally I think he wouldn’t go there as he appears to love it at the club.

I wouldn't be selling him for £3m. Granted he isn't the greatest player but if a team down South is wanting one of our players the value goes up at least 50%. If Southampton are rumored to be willing to pay £6m for Armstrong I would be wanting something similar for Tavernier. Personally hope he stays as I think with our new look defense he will be even more effective for us.

I'd like us to keep tav and also bring cadden in from motherwell. Versatile player with good engine and heaps of potential! Keep tav on his toes and also gives options to rest him

Tavernier gets a bad rap unfairly for getting caught out. he's an attacking fullback of course he's going to be caught out of position if he bombs forward. It's the job of the CM / DM and the CBs to cover for him when he's forward and trying to get back. The team was all over the place last year and an improved midfield and defence will show us even better Tavernier next season.

the lads a good footballer, scores goals gets plenty assists and his crossing has improved
ok still needs to work on defending but if he was a great defender he prob wldnt be with us!
with stronger cntr backs / keeper we won’t loose as many goals next season but tav cld still score / create plenty for us

No way we could get a suitable replacement for about 3 million. He is got to be worth 6 or 7 million surely.

MikeGer, what about when he is in position and just let's players run in behind him withouteven thinking about a tackle. He is a bombscare at defending when he is in position so how can you make a case for him? Yes he is good going forward but i think a blind man could see that he should be more of a RM/ RW rather than a R/ B

Mikeger Tav is very poor he was directly responsible for over 25 of the goals lost last season. If we want to win league we need defenders who defend first and foremost

Go and watch them on you tube, very poor player for us. Season b4 cost us the cup. Some people are very blinkered.
I strongly believe he will be sold soon
