A wee bit of info regarding our new hummel home, away and 3rd kit availability to buy for our supporters! Was told the home kit will be available to buy mid august, the white away kit september and the orange 3rd kit in october!
I was really hoping that at the very least, we would have been able to have bought our new home top, before the start of the season, on the 4th/ 5th august!

Surely we will need aw 3 kits out for the season starting mate?

03 Jun 2018 18:20:35
I totally agree with you, Dutchy_Rangers_1! Only sharing with you all on here, to what i've been told mate!

03 Jun 2018 18:29:40
Where were you told this?

03 Jun 2018 18:50:05
I was told this from a guy who works for rangers mate! Although i will state nothing is finalised date wise yet!

Regarding launch dates for our forthcoming strips, it would be in Rangers best interest to announce so they can generate some income. i'm very surprised you are announcing this Supercoop before the official launch.

03 Jun 2018 19:49:16
I find it inconceivable that Rangers didn't insist that the kits would all be available for the beginning of next season before the deal was signed with Hummel, The Puma deal is finished now so what away kit will we wear before September or October?
Also don't the club have to show the SPFL what kits they will wear before the beginning of the season?
All the these rumours about the kit are just guesses by people who don't know a thing about it?

03 Jun 2018 19:38:50
Thats bull the strips will all be available ti buy aftter the 12th July i know one of the slort science guys thst works with the youngsters and i have been told it all 3 kits will be got sale after the 12th July znd before the end of July in time for the new season i won't name names but this is 100% true as i a signed top every year from said person and he's never let me down

03 Jun 2018 20:19:56
Super, i'm sorry mate but you have never posted a rumour that has turned out to be true.

03 Jun 2018 20:58:29
New kit timings are entirely contractual obligations lingering from old deals. RFC would happily release new kits sooner if it were possible.
This is beyond their control.
As soon as they are clear of old contracts new kit will be on sale.

Honestly Jyf don't talk bull! Think back before you spout mate! Elbuffalo my friend!
We'll see who's correct! Honestly!

03 Jun 2018 22:03:38
Found out there Super. Are we sure it’s a white strip for the away and orange for 3rd as suggested. Is that true JyF

03 Jun 2018 23:32:23
Why does it take so long tho? Would take few days to decide on the design so why then would it take months to manufacture? I never get why this sort of thing takes so long?

SR essentially said at narsa that the new strips will not be available to buy until after the sports direct contract expires on 31/ 07/ 18. Add that to the rumour that jd sports will be the new supplier at a more profitable running cost for us and it doesn't take rocket science (or an inside source) to see what is happening. Release them earlier, especially the orange one, and we line ashley's pockets instead of our own. Wait, we make more money and Ashley doesn't get another penny off us. Win, win. Puma contract is up so I'd expect to see the new strip in the upcoming bury and wigan friendlies and euro qualifiers too.

If there is no release dates “released” by the marketing department of our club, I would suggest that anyone who thinks that they are in the know should have a look at themselves.

This is the biggest release of club kit in a long time, with the Stevie G effect and the debacle of puma and Mike Ashley in the past, they will want to maximise this, however this makes it surprising this information is not forthcoming so I can only suggest this is a contractual issue and the last thing we need is a litigation case considering how much money this could be worth. Anybody buying fake kits in Turkey or wherever should support the club, not their own ego.

funny i thought you had to register your kit with league during a certain time frame then your stuck with that kit. that's what was reported last year when trying to change kits

04 Jun 2018 09:50:21
We do have to register kits to the SFA and UEFA before a certain date but that doesn't mean we have to have them on sale for supporters. Makes perfect sense to hold off until the sports direct deal is done (if that's what is happening) as the sales for all 3 kits are going to go through the roof and why should any of those sales go to Ashley? the team can still wear the kits on the park without them being on sale to supporters.

Living in the midlands, haven't heard of any pre-season friendlies, but bury and wigan have been mentioned on here, can anyone confirm these for me, dates, venues, please?
