Something clearly isn't right in the dressing room and that must be down to the manager. I thought we made good signings in January with Goss, Murphy, Docherty and Cummings all brought in. We've played well in some games but something isn't right. I don't believe we are as bad as 4-0 suggests. Watching the highlights again there is no way either of the penalties should have been given, very soft. How Morelos didn't score three goals I'll never know. Gordon is either brilliant against us or lucky. I put this down to a very bad day at the office and hopefully changes can be made for the last five games to ensure we finish 2nd. Get rid of Martin as he is a liability.

Would have more respect for you if you weren’t trying to give excuses both penalties were correct. Not heard a single ex player including a number of your own say different you got pumped end of totally outclassed by a better team

Doiger ask yourself if that had happened to us in their box and they weren't given We would all be up in arms Mcrorrie penalty was as clear as it can be never saw holts as I'd chucked it by then
I'm surprised at your post you're generally reasonable with your posts but think you're wrong here bud

Should have taken the £11 million for Morelos but that's hindsight.

16 Apr 2018 11:25:57
Well said. Yesterday was terrible no one can question that but there have been positives since January. We need three high quality new players (as a minimum) to go straight into the team, there are around 8 positions where we have players who in the right set up can do a job. At this point it is essential that everyone holds their nerve and doesn't get hysterical. We mustn't through the baby out with the bathwater here, we must build on the progress that has been made and not go back to square one yet again.

There was no £11m for Morelos!

16 Apr 2018 11:57:53
Doiger sorry mate but in my opinion you are totally wrong, we are lucky that they never scored more than 4, they strolled through the game and never got out of second gear, first half we couldn't pass, kept giving the ball away, didn't get the ball to Murphy or Morelos the list just goes on,
As soon as Alves came on the defence looked more organised and he was winning everything in the air Martin was having another nightmare game,
We are all hurting after yesterday but at least we all now know that we need a manager who can motivate the players,

16 Apr 2018 11:58:58
ok first of all we were atrocious and they deserved to win absl no question they strolled it and the score cld have been bigger. fact

however 1st pen was a tug a yard outside the box take off your green tinted specs timmy

if that was a pen for us the open line wld be in meltdown with all the usual conspiracies and establishment refs guff . it was a red card but never ever a pen.

that decision would not have changed result but it was still wrong decision just like sterling pen for man city at spurs - it was a yard outside the box

if you can’t see that have another look i know a good guide dog if you need it

Penalties were both correct decisions stone wall we just didn’t turn up tactics were poor no idea why we played Halliday I know Windass is not everyone’s cup f tea but the thing he can do is run with the ball getting us up the park, we were stuck in our own half Celtic were all over us, but I agree with you TomVallance we can just condem all players we showed in the home game we can compete with them to a degree, they are still a good bit ahead of us, but with a good manager (I’ve no idea who) who can get the best out of players and three or four quality additions especially at the back and a midfield player who can compete with Brown we would at least make a game of it, Murty has been hung out to dry by this board he’s never a manager he was the U20s coach for Christ sake, theboard really need to take a look at themselves that three managers they have appointed wasted millions and we are no further forward unless there are changes soon we could end not even in a Euro spot and next season will be a fight for second again, my fear is fans will drift away season ticket sales will decline I’m old enough to remember sitting inside Ibrox with less than 20000 fans, the ones I have spoke to are loosing the will my renewal is just short of £600 not cheap but I fear we are becoming the new Leeds Utd a big club who got it wrong fans drift and the ones who are left just accept it, right now we need leaders right from the boardroom to the pitch, look at yesterday we had no leaders on the pitch no one to drive us on a manager who doesn’t command respect, why did the board come out with that statement last week basically saying a new manager would come in next season we were about to play our biggest game and the manager was undermined, we have to stand firm we need to stay together and the board need to act

I agree thinkaboutit, I have followed Rangers for 57 years, and this is the worst team I have seen, and there have been one or two horrendous displays. Murty's tactics were totally wrong, we sat too deep and against this Celtic side that is suicidal. I thought that Tavernier was the only player with some sort of pass mark yesterday, Halliday reacted through embarrassment when he raged after being taken off, I personally would have taken Dorrans off instead of Candeis as he offered nothing all game, as for Martin enough has been said already. What has Cummings got to do to get some game time just now, the lad proved often enough against us that he can be problematic in big games, Morelos has had his chance and blown it in the big games, he tries hard, but whatever was offered from China or wherever should have been accepted. I look at the journeymen that Motherwell have brought in, in particular the man who replaced Moult, and wonder what the hell Mark Allen is getting paid for. If the rumours of GM having stepped down, I wouldn't blame him, and thank him for at least trying to get things sorted, too much for him though.

16 Apr 2018 15:38:56
Haven't seen or read anything bout Murty going back to youth but we can only hope. Silence from board regarding successor is deafening.

16 Apr 2018 17:49:43
They were both 100% penalties that is a fact

16 Apr 2018 19:40:19
If Murty didn’t fancy the job then all he had to say was no thanks, he didn’t and it’s not worked out for him. He shouldn’t be above criticism though.

Got to laugh at that Trev, comment, a tug outside the box means it wasn't a penalty, maybe if Dembelle had been tripped outside the box and then he had stumbled inside the box, you might have an argument, but a tug and then he ran strongly into the box before getting more or less wrestled by McCrorie, are you allowed to drive with those blue lenses?
