It’s a strong rumour from a reliable source! Don’t know whether jimmy will take over but it’s already circulating other Rangers media sites. Personally I feel a bit sorry for Murty in all of the his, the board should never have given him the job in the first place!

It wasn't really a case if giving a guy a job rather than a chain of command whittle down. No dof or assistant so the youth coach gets it. Battlefield recruitment in a land of peace. DK the poison that he is started the ball rolling with his statements during the week. Destabilising his position.

Bates transfer was leaked deliberately. Hailday started. why? To try to put a toe on Brown? Didn't work. The same player subbed screaming down the tunnel clambering over staff calling murty a see you next Tuesday. The next lad wasn't much different.
Something has happened behind the scenes

And yet a lot of folk were saying if murty was in charge from start of season we would be a lot closer to Celtic? either he is the man or he is mince what is it? who else can we get as we are skint

Jyf Halliday was murder.

fraz did we get better when he went off? He was not at fault for any of the goals so perhaps others should have been singled out before him.

Correct JYF, we were rank rotten with and without Andy Haliday. He got some send off from the unwashed. That in itself is enough to destroy what little confidence he has left. Windass was the usual invisible man, hopefully we get a few quid for him in the summer. He has all the attributes to be a really great player. Just a soft arse.

Anyway its Monday morning and i'm off golfing. Unfortunatley its with a sheepy and a Dhim. FML.

I think people should be blaming the board more than Murty. Yes, Murty may not be a Rangers manager however, he has never went into hiding. He has always been professional and faced the press knowing he would get a tough time. He was put in a no win situation by the board. They knew the guy had no managerial experience when they offered him the job until the end of the season. If he had said no to the job, then people would have said that he obviously doesn’t want to be at the club. But, he took the job on, when probably no one else wanted it, knowing it would be tough. I agree he has a lot to learn about management, but I still believe he has potential to be a good manager in the future (wherever that may be ) . Maybe he needs time to work as an assistant to an experienced manager. let's just support our team through the rest of the season and let us finish second. Then we can rebuild for next season.
