For me Miller's time as a player is done BUT for the sheer professionalism and work ethic I'd hate to see him let go. Get him in as a coach.

Miller is 37 and yes still scores goals occasionally but is bad for getting dragged out of position and not linking up well. It’s a hard call would be better suited to a youth coach but if he wants to keep playing then maybe we could leave the door open for him to come back in some role. At the end of the day he has been a great servant to the club but for us too move forward we need younger players and his wage could be used to help fund another younger hungry player. I just hope that we get the next manager right and get that title back where it belongs!

Agree with highland bear. He drops far to deep into midfield these days and is well out of position too often. He’s even said he wants to continue playing and have regular game time so he won’t stay to warm the bench. We’d be far better actually getting Cummings into the team and developing him and looking at the future.

He’s still scoring goals? He scored one and missed about four if that had been Morelos he’d have been slated for the misses

Why give Miller a hard time? Yes he's getting on a bit, yes he drops to deep and out of position at times. Having said that a strikers job is to put the ball in the net and he's still doing that at 37. Play him on Sunday against Celtic and I'll bet he'll score!
