Shouts for Cummings to start in the OF I can understand I love the guy and he got badly needed start and goals yesterday, but Morelos for me is a far better all round player and should get the nod for OF.
I've been wishing we'd go with the two of them up top together but yesterday showed why Murty's not done it - the number of times they could have played each other in for a tap in but went for goal themselves! Both really good finishers and because of that have a greedy streak (not a bad thing in a striker) . But if they realised they'd both get more goals if they helped each other, they'd be some strike partnership!
I just hope we keep both players after summer because they're both class strikers!

And also the fact a 4 man midfield just doesn’t work most of the time in the modern game hence the reason most teams don’t go with a 4.

i like the 4231 formation with the two wingers bombing on and windass in the free roll morelos drags defenders all over the place goss and docherty give the back 4 plenty of protection as do candeias and murphy on the wings when needed we play as a solid unit now defending from the front and attacking while playing the game the right way just wish we had this starting 11 in august with murty as boss we would be pissing this league right now.

As modern football evolves, the only way now to play two up top is to go 3-5-2. The '5' in various guises is now the most important part of the team and is where the creativity, energy and drive comes from. Four in the middle and you go from a 2 litre engine to a 1.5 one, a noticeable drop in performance levels.
