Another journalist quoted this morning as saying the Italian club has only enquired about Alves. No offer has been made and so no deal agreed-depends who you choose to believe-might be going nowhere.

If he was in right mind frame to stay and play at rangers I would keep him as he is the best centre half at the club if not the league, however I think his heart is away with PC and that’s how he seems disinterested in playing.

See if I'm honest I've not been overly impressed with Alves I don't think we'd miss him in the slightest. I don't think he wants to be at Rangers. He was a Great Defender in his day but I think his day is well and truly gone.
