Sun reporting Pena off on a 12 month loan deal where we will pay half of his wages. Absolute farce. He’s rubbish but in my opinion they either buy him or we keep him here.

Agree6 Disagree2

If that’s true it’s another total joke from our wonderful board. I thought they already admitted to mis managing the sale of McKay, this is another case of a mis managed transfer.

Why would Pena leave when he has a 20k contract with us? Only option for him to go is loan deal with him still receiving same cash in total from loan club and us

06 Jan 2018 07:45:05
Believe it or not pena is on at least 40 k a week heard it hard to. believe I know.

I read everything I can about our team can you tell me where yous get the info about these so called wages and when there are so many varying accounts how qualative are these sources

06 Jan 2018 09:33:23
33k and 38k lol lay off the evostik n stop listning to tims who get there info from paddy from roystons twatter account

S*n is claiming he’s on £26k a week I had heard from an ex player he was on 20k. Wasn’t an ex rangers player so I thought even 20k a week wasn’t likely. Bottom line is to let him go on loan for 12 months paying half his wages is wrong in my opinion. If they really wanted to go down that toad it should have been 6 months max so we could try and sell him in summer. I think it’s really bad business on our part

06 Jan 2018 09:54:56
I’m not saying he should just leave Scotty I’m saying if he wants to leave that badly then a permanent deal should have been the only option. If nobody wanted him or were at least willing to match his wages I would have told him he was staying. Just my opinion

The board have their hands tied mate. Either sell him - free up all his wages, that won’t happen as his current contract is way beyond any new contract. Loan him out - free up as much as possible, apparently 50% which can be reinvested. Last option is keep him - pay full wage and play him or let him rot.

Yeh this team will find out he's pish and return him when loan deal comes to an end, if not sooner, then we're stuck with him. Should have cut our losses and punted him.

pena is on 32k and alves is on more

06 Jan 2018 14:09:40
its the rest of the squad that are on buttons, joey barton was on a big salary that was freed up when he left. Do you really think guys like him come up to play for rangers for the love of the club.
