I still want Mcinnes but big Eck has one the league on less funds than them so out of the rest I would take him especially being backed up wae Murty and Ferguson

17 Nov 2017 20:05:21
agree but not with fergie

17 Nov 2017 20:37:57
Wee need eck back in charge. Barry ferguson in some capacity, he would get them motivated. Come on what kind of motivation do you need playing for rangers. Here we go.

Short memories couldn't wait to get shot of McLeish 11 years ago .
What a massive bloomer that would be .
Murty is getting the job next week.

17 Nov 2017 21:04:45
Fod how do you know he’s getting the job next week just because his price has went down in the bookies I think everyone’s price has went down and then back up look at GVB was second favourite the other day now has drifted so stop with the crap saying you know when you don’t your only second guessing like the rest of us

17 Nov 2017 21:14:34
Seriously McLeish? Short memories. He was a lucky manager the rest of the time he was a joke. Ten games in league without winning and he filled the team with some of the worst players ever to wear a rangers jersey. What has McLeish done except get sacked at every job he’s had since he left Rangers?

17 Nov 2017 21:18:31
Well said gersman

17 Nov 2017 21:35:15
I r right mprent111 his signings were a joke buffel Novo resigning Ferguson inspiring us to win the league kyrgiakos boumsong prso and of course remember that joke signing of a striker Boyd

17 Nov 2017 21:36:46
McLeish won English league cup and got Birmingham promoted to premiership didn't he? His managerial record is more impressive than most folk linked with the gers job. Won the treble, last 16 of champions league.

17 Nov 2017 21:37:11
i think if eck got the job he’d bring in alex rae - they worked together before and both know scottish game and rangers inside out

my only slight concern is ecks shown he’s good at galvanising a team lifting players and setting them up to compete but his transfer dealings were sketchy at best

for every novo dado and JAB there was a fanfan maniero ostenstadt or emerson.

however mark allen is supposed to be in charge of recruitment so who knows

just my opinion bears - i think Eck wld do a job

17 Nov 2017 22:22:01
One thing he does know all about and that is defending, he was one of the best, and at the moment we have to defend against them until we have players who can really get at them and neutralize their attacking men, attack broon and he will disappear,

Agbroxi Boyd was a joke. Never turned up for big games, Buffel was always injured and kyriagkos was alright. Boumsong what 6 months fab. What about Ostenstad, Namouchi, Fanfan, Rodriguez, Jeffers, Bernard, Capucho, Egan, Mladenovic, Muscat, Bonnesel, Maniero, Nieto and there are more. He won the league because he was lucky. If Celtic hadn’t got to Seville they would have won the title just like if we hadn’t gotten to Manchester we would have won the title. Ye McLeish got Birmingham prompted but he also got them relegated twice. He’s a backwards step as a manager

17 Nov 2017 23:19:43
Would absolutely take him until the end of the season. does well, gets the job. And if he’s no up to it then he isn’t tied into a contract.

18 Nov 2017 02:59:15
At the very least if Murty brings in 10pts from the next 4 Games then the Club should announce that Murty will remain in charge as CARETAKER MANAGER! I would find this absolutely acceptable and a wise decision.

18 Nov 2017 10:02:43
We need a permanent manager who can work with this squad improve on it at Xmas and next summer without having a massive overhaul with the righ man management Pena and Herrera might still be a success from now on we need to be signing less players at transfer windows but of a higher quality

18 Nov 2017 14:56:19
I think McInnes is the sensible appointment. We need someone who can work with a limited budget. De Boer Gio would be great but could they do it without money? Murty might be worthwhile for the remainder of the season and then reassess in the summer.
