the guy is on £80k a week where we pulling the cash for his wages. properly our combined wages of the team would be £80k a week. Not a chance in this happening

Ridiculous rumour to be honest. I know we have spent a little more this season, however to be able to afford Loic we'd need to get rid of 14 players purely to afford his wages.

just because he is on 80k a week the now doesn't mean we would be paying that. he's probably got another year left at Chelsea and they might just be cutting their losses and taking whatever they can for him as a loan deal.
however I do agree its very unlikely.

Loic has a year to run on his contract. Chelsea aren't looking to loan him out, they want to sell him.

He's played 37 times in 3 seasons, has an awful injury record and has no sell on value if he is let go on the cheap, NAW.
