Naismith deal is off 100%.

Agree13 Disagree3

29 May 2017 13:40:26
Tbh I don't think it was ever on was it? All speculation.

29 May 2017 13:45:50
No, rangers were definitely in talks with him but for whatever reason it fell through. I'd imagine it will come out within the next few days.

29 May 2017 14:02:31
Told you all yesterday morning at 0940 lol. Was very close to being a done deal. Naismith was said to be devastated it fell through

29 May 2017 14:04:25
So who is right here wee dan or you? Or are you both just talking jimmy white

29 May 2017 15:09:35
I for one am glad it's fallen through. Couldn't live with myself if I had to cheer on that Judas.

29 May 2017 15:39:41
Traitor not welcome in my eyes

29 May 2017 15:40:28
Edinsblue - How do you know its off? what happened?

29 May 2017 15:49:42
He will not join. Watch this space. Truth be told i'm quite gutted just due to the fact it would be some improvement on Joe Garner&Martin Waghorn. It does give me hope that we have targets identified and that Naismith won't fit in the managers plans.

29 May 2017 15:57:14
TheJerseyLoyal - It's on FF he has a family member on there. The exact reason hasn't been disclosed whether that it's the manager not taking a fancy too him or wages i'm not too sure on the reason mate sorry.

29 May 2017 15:58:36
I thought it was a sure thing. He wants to move home to be closer to his family as his children are starting school. The fact the deal has supposedly fallen through means Rangers are not able to match his wage demands.

Some papers have us bidding £2m for players and you are implying we can't pay him a wage of around 15k a week!

i would rather naismith in the team than some unknown foreign player who is a big risk! at least we know what we are getting with him.

29 May 2017 16:05:35
I'm not certain it is wages, we are forgetting he hasn't even been officially released from Norwich yet. Who knows maybe they are wanting a fee considering he was a 8.5 million pound signing a few transfer windows ago.

29 May 2017 16:06:47
Pretty upset that Naismith won't be joining if the rumours are true! He would have been a major improvement to our squad a team I personally would have built a team around!

29 May 2017 16:18:41
cant believe some of the above comments. especially iwdawson. i couldn't live with myself.
get a grip mate. bl00dy idiots on here - who can't see forward. oh the past, oh the bad people who said stuff about the glorious glasgow rangers. it was years ago. its in the past. the club WAS effectively dead. we were 'saved' by charlatans than did not give a toss about rangers. only now are we finding our feet.
negativity from the likes of you are why scottish football is the sad state that it is.

29 May 2017 16:39:35
If we can accept mo Johnston and take Kenny Miller back surely we can take Naismith back!

29 May 2017 17:01:40
The deal is off because the manager doesn't fancy him? Why bother opening discussions with him in the first place! It can't be down to wages because he has had talks with other scottish clubs that he knew wouldnthat be able to pay big wages, so that tells you he was willing to take a big wage cut.

29 May 2017 17:16:47
Where did you hear this?

29 May 2017 17:26:23
Don't know if you have a short memory or just a complete lack of principles, Martyb125.

Not denying he's a decent player but principles are more important to me. The good days will return without having to beg a Judas to return.

You'd probably rather have the gardener back rather than Pedro too.

29 May 2017 17:30:07
I am a Rangers man through the good and the bad. Guys like martyb125 seem to think it's ok for guys like Naishame to pick and choose when they are Rangers men. A Rangers man would NEVER put the boot in publicly like he did.

29 May 2017 18:54:03
Naisey wants to come back and Pedro is very keen to take him back. Wages is no issue as he's putting family first and wants his kids educated back home. Only thing stopping the deal is his club who want a fee, which Rangers won't entertain! His statement was ill advised as was the whole handling at that time, he messed up but when he's giving blood sweat and tears for the jersey fans will forgive.

29 May 2017 19:42:03
I hope the so called deal has fallen through don't want that wee snake anywhere near the club

29 May 2017 21:05:36
Would take him back in a second

29 May 2017 21:08:06
Get a grip on the naismith stuff, if he comes back fine we move on and get behind the team if not then so be it what's all the big fuss

29 May 2017 23:27:28
Well stop going on about it then
