After watching that shambles I hear £80 hike in season tickets. only thing good is Derek Mcinnes will be the new manager next season.

Agree2 Disagree32

01 Feb 2017 22:49:17
Hope no. On both counts.

01 Feb 2017 22:50:33
Mciness? Is that good news

01 Feb 2017 22:47:09
@clydebank WB - tell me why McInnes coming in is any good considering he's managing an Aberdeen side not any better than Rangers and he's had 4 years to build a side for he SPFL?

01 Feb 2017 23:14:03
Derek mcinnes nowhere near good enough to be our manager!

01 Feb 2017 23:38:24
Where are you grabbing that "information" from?

01 Feb 2017 23:39:25
Hearts had 9 new players and have gelled better than our lo.t surely warburton Could've scouted better defender than Kiernan out there. obviously doesn't think we don't need to tell it all really on borrowed time me thinks if he don't dro a few numptys

02 Feb 2017 01:27:45
Appointing McInnes as successor to Warburton would show no ambition whatsoever and wouldn't motivate people to buy season tickets!

We need a quality manager supported with some serious investment!

02 Feb 2017 06:36:00
£80 = £4m approx 50,000 season tickets. That would pay for the lost revenue from sports direct, roughly.

Pains me to say we were a shambles last night. two problem area never addressed DM and CD.

02 Feb 2017 06:42:39
Tom USA totally agree, they made a statement bringing in Rodgers now it's time for us to make a statement or al tell you this they will whitewash us and do ten in a row

02 Feb 2017 06:54:07
Tell me all you keyboard wannabe managers who you guys suggest should be next manager if warbs gets his p45?
It appears no player or manager is good enough for this great club according to some of you. So please share your wisdom and within the tight restrictions of a minimal financial budget.

02 Feb 2017 06:18:35
Who would be your choice for new rangers manager, TOMUSA?

02 Feb 2017 08:37:24
Blueger ., you are on fantasy land if we invest we get champions league football are some of yous that daft, they transfer windows go and the Celtic strengthen the further we fall back. That was embarrasing last night. We need to get debt to bring in money in the long run end of. We need a new team an the Dave King supporters should hang there heads in shame trusting this tax crook with his lies.

02 feb 2017 08:55:47
supercooper, big stubbs looking for a job, 2 cup finals in same season from the championship.

02 Feb 2017 09:48:54
Hi guy's i have always backed MW and stuck up for him but no more, if Kiernan and Halliday are always playing badly and giving away goals directly from mistakes then why is he playing them? if Dodoo never gets a game how is he going to get match fit, he is a very good player when match fit, down here he is well known and a few clubs wanted him, i think until this Mike Ashley mess is sorted nobody will invest, if MW leaves who would be a good replacement?

02 Feb 2017 10:07:39
if our budget is the same for this summer and our manager is the same then we deserve what happens. Laughing stock of Britain .

02 Feb 2017 10:20:03
I agree Manchester dave! Halliday and keirnans awful decision making is unbelievable and I'm afraid wes''s decisions last night left me baffled also! Terrible display of goalkeeping (although I do concede he has been one of our best players this season)

For Warburton to remove hyndman (our best player by a mile) last night instead of Halliday showed either a complete lack of balls or just pure ignorance! Then he takes off toral (probably our 2nd best player)
The guy needs to go as simple as that!

And I hope we don't get any more people on here saying "Jamie walker! Not good enough! " "Sam nicholson not good enough " cause on last night's showing Jamie walker tore us to shreds and then even had the audacity to start showboating with backheels and flicks!

That was poor beyond belief!

02 Feb 2017 11:24:07
I for one have always thought we should stick by MW philosophy but not any more, times up he must go. He's in way over his head the job is far too big for him. To come out baffled and not know what went wrong is embaressing. You are manager of Rangers Football Club!

Does anyone on here think that sort of gutless display would have been tolerated under WS, AMcL or GS? Each one of them would have ripped that squad apart after the game not defended them. Players would have been told they will never wear the jersey again. I'm not saying that any of these people are our answer as we cannot keep going back and hoping they will save us but we need someone who can put the fear into players and make these imposters realise what it takes to be a Rangers players.

Theres no tactical influence, there's no plan b, he takes of Waghorn and Hyndman our 2 players most likely to score a 2nd. He's completely lost its like he makes his plans before the game and sticks to them he cannot adjust.

I would rather see BF in the dug out as at least he would bring so fight to the squad and instil an impression of what it takes to be part of this club. I see nothing to indicate that continuing with MW at the helm is in anyway beneficial to Rangers. None of his transfers have any sell on value what so ever.

Best thing MW could do would be to walk himself and save our cash strapped club the money of having to terminate his contract if he has any respect for us as this is not good enough.

Well said blue stu

02 Feb 2017 19:51:49
2 laudrups for me

02 Feb 2017 20:01:55
Supercoopereleven, I supported Warburton's appointment and would still like him to succeed but I am genuinely struggling when I see Halliday and Kiernan picked week after week when they are serial non performers. I also would not have Wallace as captain and his performances recently cause me to question who should be in the side.

I would not have Weir as assistant, he brings nothing to the Club other than that he was a Rangers player but the consistent failure of our defence and the apparent lack of improvement questions what he is doing and he is certainly failing to motivate the team.

I also do not believe that it is as simple as bringing in a new manager since any manager we appoint needs to be given a serious transfer budget and I genuinely don't see that coming from King.

might be tempted to replace Weir with Ferguson in the hope that he would actually instil what it means to play for Rangers in this bunch of failures but I would much rather see a new investor with his own man. If it was me then I would want Souness back in the fold or someone like John Terry as player manager with a good young Scottish Manager as his Assistant.

Without the investment however where you have to depend on what we have just now we are wasting our time no matter who comes in.

02 Feb 2017 20:39:38
Blueger 69, what is angering most of us is that Warburton sticks with Kiernan and Halliday week in, week out and neither of them are any good. Kiernan is a bomb scare and has at least one mistake in him every game! Halliday, if he wasn't a Rangers supporter, he would be crucified. He is simply woeful. There is not one positive thing I can say about him.

Just to add to the farce that we have, Wallace is not and never will be captain material. He does not have one ounce of leadership quality.

I am not asking for a new manager but I am asking for Warburton to show some balls, drop Kiernan and Halliday, (and not just on to the bench), and give some other players a chance and give Miller the captaincy since at least he shows some fight and enthusiasm.

02 Feb 2017 22:28:16
@bluestu89 - BF! WTF! He's not exactly doing a great job at Clyde. Some posters on here are losing the plot.

03 Feb 2017 08:45:01
UnionJack - "I would rather see" doesn't mean I want lol. The following words I used "at least he would" pretty much sums up what I meant lol. He couldn't be any worse than the fraud we have just now and at least he would give the players a boot up the rear.

03 Feb 2017 12:21:58
I have always thought that warburton with the right investment will be a really good manager but, I am starting to doubt that myself.

ive always had his back but to not get in better defenders when since last season that's bee our main problem area.

other than Kiernan I wouldn't single anyone out as all of them where mince rotten last night.
but Kiernan for me is honestly worse than a man down.

to cover our appauling defence we need 4 in the middle its that simple but warbs won't change his tactics and to me this means he doesn't really know what he is doing in the Scottish game because steve wonder could see we needed numbers in the middle of the park as they where winning every second ball.

03 Feb 2017 12:28:58
thing is we can't get a manager in with the level of experience that we need as we have no money to pay him and also no warchest for him to buy players.

03 Feb 2017 16:18:06
So strip Wallace of the captaincy then drop him, sack the management, bring sourness back who left us at a critical time in the season to go to Liverpool and bring John terry in as player manager, aye nae bother TOMUSA.
