Has anybody else heard numerous stories kicking around this morning that both kyle lafferty and steven naismith are coming back to rangers on loan deals from norwich until the end of the season? I hope not! Don't want any of these 2 near ibrox EVER again! The made their beds!

Laffferty I've heard is a done deal. Naishame wants to much money but had been enquiried about and unless he drops his demands it won't happen.
Diego Poyet will sign over the next week when the players come back and we are currently trying to get Charlie Adam to sign a pre contract which may pushed through in this window if a deal can be agreed.

02 Jan 2017 10:47:45
Steven Naismith is quality anyone who wouldn't want him back is a fool!

02 Jan 2017 11:00:08
IT will never happ but I would take them both, very good players, esp naisy, but as I said, can't afford naisy anyway.

02 Jan 2017 11:03:43
Warbs not that forward thinking I'm afraid, if they have no Brentford, Watford or QPR links, it's not a goer.

02 Jan 2017 11:26:21
While I would gladly accept Naismith I don't really see what Lafferty would bring other than Baggage. We need quality young players, players like Dembele and we need them as permanent signings, not as loans.
Our midfield is currently a joke and we must replace Halliday and Holt with players that are of premier league status.
As for Charlie Adam he has been a quality player since he moved from us but I am not sure that he would work in Scottish Football. Probably still worth a punt but we should be looking to sign quality young players that we can resell at a significant profit in the future.
Bottom line we need proper investment in the team.

Waghorn, tavernier, kiernan, rossiter, kranjcar, barton, wilson, windass, crooks ohalleron none of them players have links to 3 clubs you mentioned so should get your facts right before you start spouting rubbish on here.

02 Jan 2017 12:58:40
anyone who wants lafferty and naismith has short memories.

02 Jan 2017 13:03:12
It is a manager that we need and until then we are going nowhere.

02 Jan 2017 13:22:24
i would happily welcome lafferty back anyone whos watched northern ireland recently could see what he'd bring to our team i don't get the massive animosity towards the ex players in light of what we've seen with previous board how much of the transfer fees does anyone think our club would have seen and i think that's something most of the players knew after obviously meeting with charles green naismith is different he publicly slated our club and for that reason i never want to see him back.

02 Jan 2017 13:27:44
I for one have put this all behind me if we have a chance at lafferty or Naismith then get them onboard! Yes they could have done this or that, and people say they let us down well they did but looking back i'm sure it still hurts them, they were put in a horrible position of uncertainty and in a very short career done what they thought was best for their families at the time! The real rats are the ones who f*&ked our club over and bled it dry! If any of these players pull on the jersey I for one will back them fully.

02 Jan 2017 14:47:42
Poyet is a complete and utter failure as a player, a limited ability McParland 'nearly made it' type who nobody else wants. I heard he's also disruptive and self absorbed. How many of these guys are we going to sign?

02 Jan 2017 15:47:32
Such negativity on here😂😂 every player named above is better than what we have now doesn't take a genius to see that.

02 Jan 2017 15:57:34
I would take Adam and naismith but lafferty is Donald Trump and always was he hold never gave been signed first time around waste of money.

02 Jan 2017 16:45:52
Lafferty is better than anything we currently have up front just need someone to create some chances for him.
Also hearing Waghorn is gone and won't travel to Germany.

02 Jan 2017 18:00:41
Hey Gary 75,
What do you mean by "Lafferty in Donald Trump"?

02 Jan 2017 22:33:31
Imagine two professionals choosing security in a time of such uncertainty. these guys have families and bills like the rest of us. I'd take both back in a heartbeat.

02 Jan 2017 23:32:08
I've seen posts on here slagging off lee Wallace saying he's not good enough and should be dropped a man that stood by our team when we dropped down to 3rd div. Yet I'm seeing posts wanting Naismith and lafferty back with open arms two badge kissers that couldn't wait to get out of dodge. Not for me.

02 Jan 2017 23:32:10
J1985, whilst I see where you're coming from it's important to remember that Naismith spent the best part of two seasons guideline through injuries and was still being paid by the Club, no statutory sick pay for him. In truth he might have been swayed by his agent to leave and sign for Everton and to pick up a large signing on fee into the bargain, but he couldn't wait to go in front of the cameras to offer some puss poor excuses for leaving when it was really all down to money. I personally wouldn't let him near the stadium but I respect the opinions of other fans, be they for or against any possible return, however unlikely.

03 Jan 2017 00:54:55
It's all about opinions Hugh Jarse and like you did with mine, I respect yours.

Loyalty in football is as rare as a jocky Bjorklund goal nowadays, yeah the club stuck by him through injury but we got a return out of him with a few cracking season's that saw us win numerous honours. As for the here and now, we'd be getting a more experienced player who could really enhance our team so I'd be all for it.

03 Jan 2017 08:22:20
The words Donald Trump were put in by Ed.

{Ed001's Note - they replaced profanity.}

03 Jan 2017 20:13:36
Take Naismith in a heartbeat all this rubbish about betraying us think with our head not our heart no one realises if they had stayed any of them we were in more trouble than we were already.

03 Jan 2017 20:15:41
We won three games on the bounce with a game against st j and them to come he decides to change formation we get a draw and defeat MW to blame.

03 Jan 2017 13:08:25
Only my opinion but i'd prefer charlie adam to steven naismith! Adam's exactly what we're needing as he can see a pass early and open up defences! Very rarely gives the ball away. He's certainly improved tenfold since he left us. Has terrific left peg and is superb with dead ball situations! Enough said!

03 Jan 2017 20:51:13
Hope waghorn is a gonner and he can take tavenier and Forrester with him.

04 Jan 2017 11:00:30
Jaws, i've been told by a good falkirk mate of mine that rangers are very interested in signing the young falkirk left back, tony gallacher who's only 17!Rangers view him as the longterm successor to our captain lee wallace!
