Senderos and Lescott with Tav and Wallace on the flanks, Barton, Rossiter and Crooks and then any three from six, Forrester, McKay, MOH, Garner, Windass and Waghorn. With Holt as backup for the defensive midfield positions and Wilson and Kiernan learning from the two International Centre Backs it is looking very good for us!

Would rather Senderos but looks as if Lescott is a cert now. I hope he feels as if he's got something to prove up here and finds some form!

Villa have agreed to pay him the years wages to leave so don't think he will mind dropping wages for a year at rangers. If he signs for a epl team he will only be backup. Rangers will give him game time and a chance to win something.

My biggest concern isn't whether lescott is good enough it's MW belief that Kiernan is a decent player. He's rank rotten in my opinion but then so many Rangers managers have had a weak spot for a player most fans think are rotten.

I don't understand when people say you can't have to left footed CBs. How many teams have two right footed CBs?! It doesn't make a difference as long as they can defend. I think Wilson has to be chosen before Keirnan everyday since he has shown in the past he can play at a high level, I think he just needs someone with experience alongside him. He hasn't just turned into a bad player overnight. I also watched MWs press conference earlier and he only had great things to say about Senderos with his fitness levels and technical ability. In my opinion he would've been a better choice than Lescott since he is 3 years younger as well but hopefully Lescott bucks up his ideas and proves me wrong.

Spot on Mark pren. i remember big eck use to always play namouchi in the big games for some reason and he was nightmare.

Bluedie, Namouchi there is a player I had forgotten all about. Thought he was really tidy and underrated. Just checked and looks like he still playing and in Bulgaria.

I'd play whoever can win a header. We lose so many goals from set piece headers it's shocking. I hope we get senderos aswell.

All our four CB are left footed although kiernen has ok right. Still not ideal though.
