Rangers have shortlisted and interviewed paolo di canio's former assistant manager at swindon and sunderland fabrizio piccareta to replace ian durrant as rangers under 20's coach, piccareta was recently working at sampdoria's academy, the italian is a highly regarded youth coach.

Guy from falkirk wasnt really a coach as such he deals more in the education side of youth players making sure they get an education alongside their football he's more an academic coach.

He was signed as Head of Youth Development so a different role. Plus i believe it was only a short-term appointment.
