Pre season doesn't start for how long though so kranjcar on free is still worth it and he will be fit for the season starting

We got burnt last season because eustace was injured and I don't mean in terms of money I mean having an experienced defensive midfielder. It's ok saying he'll be fit in 6-8 weeks but what if he's not.

Preseason starts in 3 weeks! I agree with big Dado that Kranjcar has not being playing at a high enough level and could be risky. I assume with all the talk of him being a marquee signing that he'd be on significant wages, would rather see us pick two youngsters with promise at a lower cost/ risk.
