It's a big RUMOUR: going about that ally has 4 games left to save job and the next managers is McLeish or Billy Davies. So dont go off your nut its a rumour so far I think {Ed039's Note - No substance to it what so ever)

Believable31 Unbelievable69

Hey Ed. I think that you are right. He is gone on Monday! Bye Bye Ally, but he will get a ride from the stadium, so he wont need to use shoe leather walking away. gone tomorrow!

Agree1 Disagree1

Another ridiculous made up lie

Agree1 Disagree0

Why lie? Seriously? We should be getting behind out team, we wont be booing our manager or only have half filled home games like the mowbary era!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally and his team have been booed on more than one occasion away from home and the jeers and boos at Ibrox after getting punted out the Ramsdens Cup was deafening!

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye and look what succeeded the Mowbray era, Lennon bringing back the thunder, and the championship and champions league games and an exciting brand of football and a fantastic team with significant value.

Agree2 Disagree2

An exciting brand of management he brought... Constant accusations of anti celtic agenda and has had an accumulative 15match ban with 3 suspensesd

Agree1 Disagree0

17,000 against Dundee united last season and there's already been booing this season lol

Agree1 Disagree0

To those accusing the OP of lying: check the post and think about why it starts by stating it's a rumour...

Agree0 Disagree0

A for one would like to see McLeish back

Agree0 Disagree0

The want list on managers is not going to happen ....mcleish, davis ....your 3rd division has it not sank in yet

Agree0 Disagree1

One more loss and ally must go

Agree0 Disagree0

Butcher or McCall maybe. Davies or McLeish your off your head with that nonsense,

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally out now if not then all tickets should be torn up

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring back mcleish proven track record as bears manager big eck for me all the way most successful manager after smith in my eyes

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Green has come out with the dreaded "I back the manager 100%", 2 weeks max

Agree0 Disagree0

C'mon, give Ally at least the season then next year when you're still in Div 3 then you can maybe revisit the idea....?

By failing to pass the ball Rangers are allowing mediocre opposition the time to create chances. Why the long balls and trying to beat men on the flanks?. That's why we aint getting results. Watch any la ligaprem lg side. The guy is the top Ger of all time and it will never be forgotten but seriously, WTF is he doing?.

Believable37 Unbelievable10

You dont like the long ball, you don't like trying to get down the flanks, just what do you want? You looking for thirty passes across the back ?
The problem is that these teams, on wee pitches, don't give us room to pass it about.
The big problem is the lack of tempo that we play with away from home. Had we started these games at the same intensity that we played against Motherwell we would win by five every game.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sick of hearing about these 'small' pitches. What a load of crap. We're just rubbish that's all.....McCoist must go!

Agree2 Disagree1

Aye, I bet Bara would suddenly be unable to string a coupla passes together if they had to play on a wee park.

Agree1 Disagree0

As i have stated before , these parks are small and more or less amateur pitches, its a lot harder to get the ball down and pass it, less space, less time, its easy enough at Ibrox, also with the surface. It is no excuse but all you Idiots wanting Ally sacked really annoy me, I have always said, the manager picks what he can, its upto the players to then do the job on the field, being that I play both Sat and Sunday football I know this, the coaching staff can only do so much, if the players want it enough they will get it. get off the guys back and support him.

Agree0 Disagree1

I think ally should step aside mabea even a job up stairs enough is enough. a think peter heatherson is the man to take us forward. lots of experience in the lower tiers. attila

Agree0 Disagree0

I wrote the original post here. I do always support the team and will continue to back him, but you have to say its getting to be a joke away from home. And as 4 the guy who is talking about small pitches etc........I take it that all of these players have never played on a small pitch b4?!. Even though the teams train in 5 a side games every other day?!. B#ll#x

Agree0 Disagree0

When I played amateur I played on both small and large pitches and it made no difference to me....I was crap on both of them! Seriously though we are running out of excuses. We still have some above average players with enough skill and experience to play on whatever pitch, surface. When players train do they play bounce matches on a full size pitch?
Get used to it guys, we will have more days like these if we don't get our act together and no more excuses!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above poster wee silky might nite b a bad idea good quality manager. bob

Agree0 Disagree0

Both sides play on the same pitch! Large or small , how come one side doesn't need that excuse?

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest the pitch does look smaller and the goalposts lol only joking ed we cant use that as an excuse just a bad result hopefully we will come good from now on

Agree0 Disagree0

WRT pitch size.

Check out the SFL website....all the clubs pitch sizes are listed. The Stirling Albion park is the same width as Ibrox, and about 4m shorter. The physical size of the pitch is not an issue!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely agree with the original post. WTF are we doing. The last 10 months should have been a wake up call. Ally did us proud through the administration period but he needs to get it right on the park. No excuses. We need to forget the past and build for the future by playing high tempo football on the deck. Get back to basics on the pitch with the squad we have, get the scouting system sorted out and work to attract good young scottish talent to our great club. Will it take time - yes it will but the change needs to start now. A bit of hard graft and pride is required by all involved behind the scenes and on the park. Remember this is Rangers so lets get behind the team, support our club and get it back to where it belongs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ibrox pitch size 115yds × 75 yards

stirling pitch size 110yds x 74 yards
Difference is minimal, its about mental attitude, preparation and coaching and Ally PLUS his trusted backroom staff cant cut it.
Malmo, Maribor, 15point lead, QOS, if it was not for the financial situation they would all have been cleared out months ago.
worst manager in Rangers history, bar none.
BigjimD

Agree1 Disagree0

Ally has won 61% of his games in charge, not that bad, walter won 63% in his second spell in charge. The point RE the pitches are the surfaces, we resort to long balls to avoid the uneasy surfaces, not an excuse but its a valid point. The coaches etc do as much as they can but ultimately, as my view has always been, its the players who are on the field, if they want it enough they will go and get it. We have players good enough to win these game and divisions.why people blame the manager is beyond me. get a grip and stop all the negativity. we showed we can do the job and we will.

Agree0 Disagree0

I coach and I teach and work the "one-touch" passing. Gers did it for about 20 seconds on the weekend and moved the ball right up field. Now, if Gers players were told to have a shot when they see the goal, instead of trying to set up the lone striker, added to some one-touch once in a while and we'd be getting the results.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally has won 42% of his 3rd division games. He doesn't have the luxury of Davis, McGregor et al.

Ally can't figure out how to change the lineup when things go pear-shaped in a game. This is one of his faults.
Another is his starting formation against Stirling Albion was 4-5-1. Albion played a 4-4-2 and they scored.
I see a simple solution....either play an attacking game....and we do have players who can do that...see Motherwell match, or get a manager in who will do it.

CALM DOWN! DON'T PANIC! Ally and his (mostly) young guns will win SFL 3 and 2, no problem (well maybe a wee shock result here and there) Geo the Ger

Believable57 Unbelievable43

A wee shock result here and there?!

Peterhead 2-2

Berwick 1-1

Annan 0-0

Now getting beat by the club that are by all accounts the worst team in the Scottish leagues, most of the teams in the highland league would beat these guys!

Ally needs to drop the so called big guns and bring in the hungry youth players!

Geo the Ger I agree, I think Ally should be given that 25 year contract promised by Green. lol Timalloy

Agree1 Disagree1

Haha you can always live in hope.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly well said mate, fellow bears need to realise this is the situation we are in - we are a 3rd division team and the club is going through an unprecedented time in our history. Ally will see us through I have every faith in him and cant believe the total dis-loyalty to a club legend who has done more for Rangers than anyone. If we turn against our own then the club has nothing. People mention how John Greig was a legend and was still able to be sacked. This circumstance is completely different as J.G didn't have the club falling round about him, lies and dishonest behaviour from owners of the club and one hand tied behind his back since day one. Mccoist has had this to deal with and more. Give Ally at least to the end of the season I believe 100% that he will get us up and then by that time he will not only be a better manager but hopefully some of the chains which Ally has been bound by will be freed.

Gers1986

Agree0 Disagree2

No way should Ally have another game incharge far less another bloody season, he has got to go and so has his useless pair of hangerons

Agree1 Disagree0

Geo, where do I start! No offence, but you are a deluded idiot, and if that is what you think then you deserve everything that is coming to you! You were probably one of those sad ****s who were going about spouting gash about Craig Whyte's master plan-weren't you? Wake up, man up, grow a set and stop being so fekin stupid before it's too late!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I missing something, mostly young - Alexander, McCulloch, Black, Shiels, Sandaza aint exactly young and neither are the foreign imports, get real mate, if the youngsters were getting played then maybe that could resolve the problems.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers are not a 3rd division team, they are a squad that is probably paid more than all the teams in the SFL combined.

I haven't a clue what is going on either but he better get it sorted out pretty quick, mind you Green has all the season ticket money, so need for him to fear fans walking away.

Agree0 Disagree0

ITS NOT JUST ABOUT WINNING, WE ARE ALSO MEANT TO BE BUILDING A FUTURE WITH YOUNG PLAYERS.
GREEN IS SHOUTING ABOUT 5 OR 6 TEENAGERS WHO WILL HAVE OVER 100 GAMES EACH BUT THESE GUYS WILL BE TRAUMATIZED AND MOST WILL NOT BE AROUND IF WE EVER GET BACK TO SPL.

McCoist must go now, he has not only tarnished his own reputation but ours as well, this is a disgraceful situation he has put the board, the players and us as supporters in, and he should know that better than anyone.

Believable58 Unbelievable43

What disgraceful position has he put the board in? They have the right and ability to remove him.
What disgraceful position has he put the players in ? The players are the ones to blame, never mind tactics or anything else, these players should be more than good enough to win games in the third division.
What disgraceful position has he put the fans in? The fans wanted us in div three, the fans wanted us to play the youth which is happening. The fans should blame the players, they are the ones getting beat.

I think you are a disgrace

Agree1 Disagree0

Any other manager in charge of our club would have been hounded out yet there are folk who still want him in charge. the guy is tactically naive and the football is a disgrace. these results will continue unless changes are made!

Agree2 Disagree0

I'm sure rangers reputation has already been tarnished. 98m quid remember. Ally's trying his best with a poor team. The players he brought in were all that were available. He only spent 800k on templton coz that's all chuck green have him. We're does the money come from to pay him and the other 2 off? And where does the money come from to bring in a new manager?

Agree0 Disagree0

''the players he brought in were all that were available''. what nonsense, if rangers had a descent scounting policy then there is plenty of talent out there. look at smeltic's scouting compared to ours. there has to be a complete overhaul of rangers starting with the inept management team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why has he put the players in this position? there the ones not putting in a performance on the road it isnt just mccoists fault everyone must stand up and be counted for and i dont see what the panic is if we hit a bit of consistency over the next few months we'll canter this league

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtics scouting system has been in the making for years now. Can't blame ally for the crap that's coming through Murray park. But I do agree a complete overhaul is required.

Agree0 Disagree0

C,mon guys we,ve been together through it all we can,t split now when we need to be together we,ve got 3 of 4 experianced players the rest r young guns give them time they will go on to be greats

Agree0 Disagree0

Time to go Ally. Sorry to say it but the old days of playing fives at training and having a laugh with your drinking buddies no longer can happen. It is the young boys who need to learn that they must work hard, live properly and not listen to old stories from you and Durrant about how it used to be. Need someone new in and it hurts to say probably not a rangers oldie but someone who will come in and forget about the past and concentrate on winning the league. There is no incentive for any of these players as we cannot sign anyone else for a long time so they are not going anywhere whether they are sh - - e or not! Time to go Ally need someone who has woked with smaller squads and very little budget and achieved. No one jumps out to me at the moment but I am sure there are a few out there. Owen Coyle for as much as he is a Celtic Fan will be looking for a job soon! Jim Jeffries , Dick Campbell, Billy Davies anyone just not Ally !!

Agree0 Disagree0

The poster hit it on the head, the players know they cannot be sacked or dropped for 2 years.

No threat = apathy, its human nature.
