Scott Allan rejects Rotherham enquiry as
he wants to remain in Scotland. Meaning
wanting to either stay at hibs or eventually
join us at some stage.

Scott Allan has not ruled out joining another team in Scotland.
Looks like he may not wait for us after all.

If he can't wait to join Rangers then they should forget about him. Certainly not worth a million in his final year look at what Celtic paid to DU for their 2 best players in their final year of their contracts.

Mvg, why you always negative about about Scott allan, first you moaned about the transfer request only for him to put one in that very day, then you told us he wasn't coming to rangers ever, you couldn't see him turning down Rotherham only for him to reject them. He wants to come to rangers hence the transfer request, he never put a transfer request in when Dundee utd got there bid rejected. He will be here this summer or next.

Freddie. Not being negative on purpose regarding Scott Allan. Just don't think we will get him.

Mackay Stevens and Armstrong were signed in January for over 2 million and cifti cost 1.5 how does that even compare to Scott Alan?

only other team that will pay him same money as us would celtic if he is as big a rangers supporter as he claims that would be a no no

Armstrong wasn't into the final year of his contract so there is no parallel there, but Mackay Steven would have signed a pre contract with Celtic if they and DU hadn't agreed on a deal to take him in January for £250,000. Obviously DU knew he was going and didn't want him to walk away for nothing. Allan will be in exactly the same position in January, except Hibs may decide to cut their noses off and hang on to an unhappy player who will not want his club to gain automatic promotion at the expense of the club he wants to sign for. Makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?

I think McKay Steven had already signed before a fee was agreed and had only 5 months left on his contract also cifti is the same age as Scott Alan and had a year left and cost 1.5m. I don't see any comparison to the Scott Allan situation which jfr has tried to put into the mix. Hibs have duty to there fans to try and gain promotion and a blind man can see that selling him to Rangers would show a complete lack of ambition and if they fail would probably cost them a hell of a lot more than they stand to gain with the current offers being tabled. They would be better off with him sitting in the reserves than selling him to there biggest rivals. I think the boy has been badly advised handing in a transfer request. He faces the prospect of being completely frozen out now as I really don't think there is any chance he will be joining Rangers this year. He should have done the right thing by hibs, the club that kickstarted his career instead of acting like a petulant little kid

SA has an offer down south for 8.5k
Per week. Good bye Scott. Or will DK "show me the money"!

"Or will DK show me the money"? Do you actually want rangers to pay 8.5k a week wages to a player in the championship?! I want him to sign for rangers he was probably one of the best players in the championship last season but for 8.5k I wouldn't want him in our team

Who is the 8.5k on offer from?in any case Allan has stated he has no desire to move down south just yet and is holding out for a move to rangers whether it is no or pre contract January he will be at rangers.

I would say he is worth 8k a week once in the SPL! Getting SA on a pre-contract come Jan for free makes it all the more worthy!

I would rather rangers just waited and took him on a free. the team we have now can canter this league, get SA next year for free if we still want him. 8.5k per week Is to much in championship for a player IMO we can wait on. all this talk of paying 4 - 500k and make sure we get him IMO is pointless just giving hibs money .use that 4-500k to go towards scouting players for us going up and take him for nothing

Allan Stubbs quotes warburton a price of 1 million for Allan!wait till January and get him on a free.we should win the league with the squad we have and there is still time to add to it besides Scott Allan,he will be with us for next season in the premiership.

Our stance as a club has not changed and is not going to change, and we’ve had no offers from any other clubs.

Agrre with rfcbob. Once Eustace signs we still have guys like Law Halliday Shiels who can do the job this season. Get Allan on a pre contract, job done. Get it up ye Stubbs.
