Rangers are after a former striker who is out of contract. Many Bears will be surprised with the name like I am.

Filip Sebo.

Sebo scored 29 goals in 52 games for Slovan Bratislava and is interesting McCoist, after the non signing of Kenny Miller.

I know you are at the wind up but I'd take him back at the click of a finger. Hard working player, can you imagine the atmosphere at Ibrox when he makes his debut second time around? SEEEEEBO! SEEEEEEBO! SEEEEEEEEEEEBO!

Agree2 Disagree0

The last guy who wrote this stated he was at the wind up it was a joke. sebo will never be back at ibrox never. and to copy someone elses joke and use it on the same page is a joke in its self

Agree1 Disagree1

U would take him back in a heartbeat was a joke of a player the reason the fans song his name because he was the butt of the Celtic fans joked it was totally embarrassing this is a total wind up we don't need any strikers especially 1s that r mince

Agree0 Disagree1

Good to talk about football for once, I was at the Aberdeen to see one of the rare goals he scored, if we want someone to run about for 90 mins get one that can score too, he was really average as a striker, I know it is a dodgy subject with bears but given the choice of 2 players that play that way I would take Novo ahead of Sebo all day long, that said I am for the life of me trying to work out why we need yet another striker? Clark/Daly, Little/Shiels with Jig as cover.
We are in the 3rd tier and soring freely through the whole team it is madness to sign another striker. george

Agree1 Disagree1

I'd have jig upfront before little or shiels.

Agree0 Disagree2

We do not need another striker, we really don't for McCoist Miller was an exception if he could get him, We will sign zaliuskas and that will be business done for the season.

Agree0 Disagree1

I knew someone who had a dog called sebo. Vould have scored more goals than his namesake! Consistent underperformer for us, elsewheere on fire yeh! But put him in a gers top and he couldn't hit the side of a barn door! Just one of those things. More chance of signing Ronaldo! LB

Agree0 Disagree0

Wind up or not i'd love to have filip sego back at ibrox.

he was always a favourite of mine and although never hit the heights he did he still worked hard. People say he is average but how many average players have we had that have been a success? The biggest player that comes to mind is Nacho Novo. a great servant and I love him to bits but he was only ever average in terms of footballing ability and he was one of the best success stories since the 00s began. I know Sebo wasnt a first time success but doesn't mean he couldn't become a hero for all the right reasons this time round.

Former Hearts defender Marius Zaliukas joins Rangers on trial

Thoughts fellow bears. PB

Believable50 Unbelievable16

So how many clubs have been chasing the signature of this player you all seem desperate to get on board, he's been a free agent all transfer window, looks like another Ally will be giving a bumper pension fund too.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a fair point I would have thought he would have been snapped up

Agree0 Disagree0

I would have thought he would have been snapped up to one of the better centre backs in the premier league.

Was a good servant to hearts and is still only 29

Yet another clown who uses the words ; YOU ALL; when he has no idea what we all want, don't be so infantile pal, you don't know what anyone wants, you simply get on your keyboard and scattergun nonsense, I havnt came across one gers fan who told me they wanted zaliuskas, no, one, and what exactly is your point about nobody wanting the player? TELL US HOW YOU KNOW?

Thanks Alex. this guy was only one of a few who post crap beginning with you all or everybody,
in truth he was probably only letting his hate out of his system and that was all he could think of, Rangers were mentioned and he was away like a rat up a drainpipe, none of us on here probably have any idea of the workings of a pro players contract or offers, MZ may have plenty on the table, I do agree maybe Pandza would be the better signing but to be truthful I have only read about him, and do we really need anyone right now? maybe Ally is trying to totally change the entire defensive dept so we will be stronger if and when we get up a division, he maybe knows the likes of Perry, Cribari etc are not of a higher standard, MZ is an international and is a good age so maybe? if he could be trusted (disciplinary problems). take care m8 Tommyblue

Why do we need to give him a TRIAL? He has played against us for years for gods sake! Mind you our scouts probably haven't noticed that! Only his fitness won't b known but surely even our backroom team could sort out something as simple as that? Maybe not right enough!!

A deal is in the process of being signed. Four new directors will go onto the Rangers board, but only if a request for and EGM is completely withdrawn and a vote of confidence given to the ones already running the club.

Believable23 Unbelievable15

Dont see how they can possibly agree to a vote of confidence in a board when they have no idea what they are going to find when they get to see the accounts etc and are going to look a bit foolish if having agreed a vote of confidence the accounts and working practices turn out as expected to be horrendous, stinks of job preservation to me. What a joke, should be no strings apart from egm be removed just shows someone has something to hide!

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's just agree and move on.
Agreeing doesn't preclude you from getting rid if you find evidence of wrongdoing or indeed mismanagement.
This just gives the current board breathing space to prove they have been maligned for no reason.
We shall see.

Agree0 Disagree1

If this is the deal then many will see that Murray's prime objective has been to get himself back on teh Board without any meaningful investment.

I do not see how a vote of confidence can be given in advance of doing a thorough review of what has been going on unless there has been some form of due diligence going on in the background.

At present I would have thought that every, and I do mean every Rangers supporter with a modicum of intelligence would want to be fully briefed on the financial management of teh Club since the current FD took his position.

That briefing should be made Public so that the trail of where the monies have gone is there for all to see.

We do not want another situation like we had when David Murray was in control where contracts were circulated to other Businesses within his Group and to Companies controlled by teh wider Murray family!

Agree0 Disagree0

The whole point of the requisition was to express no confidence in the board which Walter Smith described as dysfunctional. What information have Jim McColls group been shown/given to now give them "confidence" in the current board. Looks like another "deal" which leaves the fans short changed once more.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did the proposed takeovers. Not stipulate recently that NO DEAL WOULD BE STRUCK WITH MATHER. Why are supporters accepting this?. no EGM. NO DEEDS. No transparency!!. Oh & no investment.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mccoll has stated in todays press no such agreement ever took place he said wait till agm and the shareholders will either keep the spive on board or will vote against them holding their current possitions
