Rangers are considering a move for Ryan Tafazolli from Mansfield Town.

05 May 2016 22:12:15
No we aren't.

05 May 2016 20:37:44
just been told by a source in the know that we are looking at Joey Barton?

05 May 2016 21:26:14
Just when i thought rumours cannot get any worse then this one comes up. what planet are you on joey barton is probably on the best part of 30 grand per week and has just been promoted to the premiership with burnley and will be staying with them next season more likely. if you are not going to have any sensible rumours may i suggest you find something better to do with your time. anyway ed on a different matter are you going to be watching the champions league final do you think that atletico can beat real madrid or could it be ronaldo's last game for real madrid and he will want to end it on a high. personally i hope atletico win it and also i hope ronaldo and bale stay at real next season.

05 May 2016 21:30:41
That would be fantastic as we missed out on eustace due to his fitness we could really use someone who has experience and also he is a hard man and will get stuck in just that burnley have offered him a 1 year deal.

05 May 2016 22:41:48
Ballochblue i can't see mw going for barton as he would get too many red cards in our top league imo.

05 May 2016 23:04:48
Absolutely James.

05 May 2016 23:24:02
Pretty sure Barton has been pretty open about his dislike for rangers and his love of Celtic. Would be a quality signing but never going to happen.

05 May 2016 23:05:08
Wtf have some of you' guys been smoking, some of the names being mentioned is hilarious. I realise it is a rumour site but let's keep it realistic. I heard zlatan is leaving psg. Maybe the magic hat can have a word in his ear and persuade him to partner Kenny Miller up front and fire us to European glory.

06 May 2016 06:13:11
So jimjam u r saying you'd drop waggy for ibrahimavic? No chance.

06 May 2016 10:07:24
JayC is push waggy out on the wing to supply zlatan. He's a free transfer, I'm sure we could lure him to govan for a year.

06 May 2016 22:20:51
Heard Zlatan interview saying he would love to play for Celtic before he finishes his career as he was taken aback by the atmosphere at Celtic Park, hopefully he has watched what has being happening recently and seen what real fans are all about .
Think he will end up in Glasgow but see him in EPL for at least a season .

05 May 2016 18:25:17
My source who was spot on with Forrester, MOH and Foderingham tells me the Grant Hanley rumour is completely false and 100% won't happen! However the Jordan Rossiter deal could go through, he understands that JR has offers down South but the lad would prefer a move to Rangers to work under Mark Warburton and have the chance of playing European Football, talks are advancing between him and MW and the deal should be done when the transfer window opens.

05 May 2016 19:02:38
Is rossiter rumoured to be a transfer or a loan?

05 May 2016 19:26:00
Transfer, a Liverpool web page states it's as good as a done deal.

06 May 2016 15:37:51
What web page?

08 May 2016 17:50:16
Told you all.

05 May 2016 13:59:13
Would be amazing if we could sign these players I have seen us linked with through here or elsewhere.

Nicky Ajose
Aaron Holloway
Alex Mowatt
Ben Pringle
Kevin Mcdonald
Jordan Rossiter
Will Vaulks
Mark Beevers
(keeper)

Probably a bit hopeful but here's to hoping! Just think this list of players or something similar would transform our squad and ambitions for next season.

05 May 2016 16:17:41
Get real your on dreamland
Mate.

05 May 2016 21:28:35
Some may be possible and just remember some of the players wages will go up as they are moving up a division so there will be a slight wage increase meaning we can get some of those players.

05 May 2016 23:05:14
And the money for these players is coming from?

06 May 2016 10:27:08
Glory Hibs don't you worry where the money's coming from, it won't affect you's who we buy. you keep an eye on Dundee Utd's in's and out's, that's who you's will be playing.

05 May 2016 08:36:32
Manchester United could beat Rangers to the signing of goalkeeper Kacper Chorazka after inviting the 17-year-old, who plays for Wisla Krakow, to train with them. (The S*n)

05 May 2016 11:58:15
Saw in the BBC news, Man U are lined up to pip us to him.

05 May 2016 12:55:57
I'd never have got that from the original post Kilted.

05 May 2016 07:53:19
Rangers linked with Grant Hanley from Blackburn.

05 May 2016 07:59:45
I hope not runs like he is wearing lead boots.

05 May 2016 08:09:13
Not good enough I'm afraid.

05 May 2016 09:29:15
Seeker how can you say he isn't good enough? He is 24yr old captain of a championship side, a Scotland international who has premiership experience and is renowned to be the most aggressive attacker of the ball in the championship! The boys a beast and he has been working with some of the worst coaches around. At the age of 18/ 19 he was playing against the best sides in the Prem and he scores goals from set pieces. When everyone on this sight has been asking for a Butcher/ Gough type player, they would get it with this lad.

05 May 2016 09:31:36
He is without a doubt good enough he's better than what we have but doubt we can afford him.

05 May 2016 09:49:51
Id bite someones hand off to have hanley, how people say he's not good enough is beyond me when he's playing every week for Blackburn and hardly ever misses a Scotland game so he must be doing something right.

05 May 2016 09:55:34
Him and Wilson could make a great team together, I think Kiernan has been better than Wilson this year but if u put a big no nonsense guy like Hanlon in beside Wilson it would bring the best out in him.

05 May 2016 10:10:49
He has good aerial presence I'll give him that, but he does lack pace we already have problems with that, and our passing out from the back won't suit him, he is considered one of top defenders in championship and is on massive wage we couldn't afford him anyway so doesn't make a difference.

05 May 2016 10:43:26
Agree with the lack of pace but he is very aggressive which is what we have been missing, wages may be a barrier aswell, however I think that we are all agreed it would be great to see him put griffiths a few feet in the air 😂😂😂😂.

05 May 2016 10:56:20
totally agree with the lack of pace but who buys a CB because he's fast? its like saying I buy my strikers on how well they can tackle.

05 May 2016 11:27:27
I do know Blackburn are in financial turmoil and are in need of offloading players to balance the books which could suggest a price drop, as for wages, that would be down to what the player is willing to do and I seriously doubt he would take a hit to his pay packet to come play for us.

No doubt other clubs down there will be sniffing around if we make any progress in transfer discussions.

05 May 2016 12:17:38
Hanley would be a superb signing, I agree that he would also forge a great partnership with Wilson and bring the best out of wilson.

05 May 2016 18:09:15
Take him in a heart beat. Got best motivator in mw and best advice on his game from weir. Would be amazing signing. but I can't see it down to wages. Had a look on wiki n suggested he signed 5 yr deal in 2010. Any extensions as this would make him a free in sep.

05 May 2016 18:28:40
A lack of pace in the centre of the defence has been abundantly clear this season. The lad's big and strong, but not much different to what we already have. I also have concerns about him trying to play from the back under pressure, the Warbs way. Anyway he'd cost us most of our budget and want wages of £25k a week or thereabouts, so this isn't going to happen.

05 May 2016 19:48:10
I would rather Bartley than Hanley. Bartley I'd a good strong player and would go well with kiernan. Plus he'd wind up brown.

05 May 2016 20:28:40
He is slow but look at davie weir he never had any and he was a top player for us. Bring in a decent defensive midfielder then it becomes even less of a promblem. I'd 100% take him, shame he'd be a fortune.

05 May 2016 22:15:23
Hanley 100% not coming. 3mil for him which is all we will spend in total. Good enough though. Ps don't bite graham speirs bait, he's playing games.

05 May 2016 21:23:01
I would rather we signed millwall's big no nonsense centre half mark beevers who's out of contract at the end of this season, warbs and weir could develop beevers into a top class centre half as this guy had huge potential when he was younger and was likened to the arsenal legendary centre half martin keown, warbs has proved already that he's brilliant at taking players who've not fulfilled their early promise and developing them into terrific players ie. waghorn, tavernier etc, signing mark beevers would be a terrific piece of business for us and would fit into our structure in every way ie. our budget, perfect age, still young and room for development.

05 May 2016 00:40:57
Rangers are in for Liverpool youngster Jordan Rossiter, centre midfielder who Robbie Fowler compared to Steven Gerrard, he wants out of Liverpool because of lack of first team action and has played 3 times for Liverpool.

05 May 2016 08:30:29
Be good if we could steal a prospect away from Liverpool.

05 May 2016 09:48:24
Can play CM and CDM too so would be perfect for us! I seriously hope we get this kid. That would be some signing.

05 May 2016 11:50:38
Would be an outstanding signing. More similar in mould to Jordy Clasie or Marco Verratti IMO than Stevie 'G'.

He could become the heartbeat of our team if he signed up, and would be worth Millions by age of 22/ 23.

05 May 2016 12:08:18
most likely get him on loan so we can develop him for Liverpool, can't see them letting go of a youngster with as high as a potential that you're saying he has.

{Ed001's Note - his contract is up and he has suffered injuries plus not made the progress expected of him.}

05 May 2016 12:57:37
There's no way we could ever 'steal' a prospect from Liverpool. If he's leaving it's because they're letting him. Eds post seems likely.

05 May 2016 13:32:12
Tbh forrester had the same injury and progress career but a change of club/ coaching/ career path might be good for some players.
not discounting Ed001's comments
think there could be couple of players at liverpool who could be worth looking at?

05 May 2016 19:49:36
He a good prospect ed001?

{Ed001's Note - he was, but injuries have held him back in the last couple of years. He could do with an injury free run of games to try and get back on track, but I fear he might struggle to ever stay free of them.}

05 May 2016 22:08:12
Cheers ed 👍🏻he's young enough if we get him hopefully he can overcome them and becomes a good addition to our team.
