I know this is rumour page, but I just wanted to know what was happening with the new kit and shirt sponsor that was supposed to be announced yesterday.

Believable31 Unbelievable28

Celtic fan here in peace with a message for Mr G

FFS tell your fans what you are doing, these bears come week in and out keeping there club alive spending there hard earned cash when folk can least afford it, and you think you can lead them on a merry dance, think again pal. Stop the Bullsh*t come clean and stop playin to the WATP knuckle draggers and consider the True Blues who love this club.

Agree7 Disagree3

Most of my pals are rangers fans and have recently began to doubt green. surely they deserve some honesty after what they have been through with murray and white.

Agree3 Disagree5

Another Tic fan here. I hope things do get sorted out so we have more competition again. I'm a moderate, so I enjoy the motivation both teams give each other. I do believe however, that CG opens his mouth way more than he should (I've said it about NL too. ) Even my Rangers pals in Canada wonder what the F is happening.

I think ally will be around longer than cg as he is only waiting on a pay packet, ally has club at heart and should be promoting rangers rather than side with cg on the hard done by side, why cg moaning all the time he bought club for 4.5 million the complains he has lost 11 million when players walked away, the only way he can keep fans on side is by attacking everyone else for not backing rangers, the only people who should have a say are the gers fans as they alone have saved the club, ally should manage and not get drawn into greens agenda.

Agree2 Disagree2

We used to have a good banter with each other. MrG is turning it into hatred between the both sets of fans. the divide is getting wider between US.

Agree3 Disagree1

How can they announce the new sponser ship deals when they are out in the Middle East at the E. C. A conference. Sure well will hear something when CG gets back.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yes if there is one thing that cg is good for it is telling us something

Agree1 Disagree0

Soo many celtic fans caring for rangers good to see, but to the person blaming cg for the " hatred " is embarrassing, the hatred has been here for decades, have you ever been to an old firm game? were was the good banter?

john

Agree0 Disagree1

Well John, whilst there are people like you supporting rangers I am sure the hatred will never die!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good to see decent tic fans posting reality at the end of the day the decent bread and butter fans have carried the club through the dark times we have all spent good money supporting the club over the last year which has not been easy due to the financial climate we are are are group of friends who drink together rangers and celtic fans ok I've took a bit of stick fair enough then laugh it off we did have the discussion and came to the conclusion rangers fans are still in the dark why wasnt this put out days ago before this 400k thing hit the press we have supported the club helped on match days turning up in record numbers we deserve a bit more credit and only want to know what is going on within the club is that too much to ask as for hatred I don't hate anyone nor the fast majority of the gers support do either yes rivalry is expected which is good but not hatred

Let's be serious here, is Charles Green really going to get rid of McCoist, the Rangers legend? I personally can't see it especially with the relationship between fans and board at its most fragile in decades.

What do the fans think? The people who really matter and should have a say. Let's have a little poll.

Believable if you think McCoist should be shown the door, unbelievable if you think McCoist is the right man to lead us back to the top.

Believable186 Unbelievable114

I never wanted McCoist as the manager. He was my Favourite all time player and I'm not a fan of legends coming back to manage the club. I think he should have left with Smith.

But I think he has earned the right to have a season where he has no constraints on him. He carried us for a long time during the admin period and before. He has never had chance to build his own squad. even this one. He was given a few weeks and told to get on with it and he got in what he could and was told to get us promoted. he is doing that but I admit the football is boring. We are not a Premier League team anymore big wage bill or not
Dmrangers

Agree3 Disagree1

Mccoist won't be sacked he has is a bridge between green and the fans and if he sacks ally then he will get a fans backlash, also ally isn't a young manager so he will never change drastically his team style, best idea would be to get in Barry ferguson, let him cut his teeth in the lower decision and get us back to the top but can't see it happening.

Agree0 Disagree5

Give the guy a chance, don't judge just yet wait until he can build his own team from the transfer market, you have to admit the guy is working with his hands tied behind his back, and what manager would come to Scottish third division? be careful what you wish for, Ally will learn by his mistakes and come good, fingers crossed.

Agree2 Disagree1

Aren't a number of the team McCoist signings?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is the team Ally bought and built, that's his prob he bought badly. Black was going back to be a painter and decorator, Ally gave him a £7k a wk deal, Sandaza knocked him bk when team was in SPL then when no one was interested in him Ally gave him a contract ( mediocre players should never be asked twice to sign ) Kyle was virtually retiring because of injury, Ally gave him a contract and Shiels was the usual dyed in the wool fan ( that old chestnut is rubbish ) Ally gave him a contract. Ally has caused his own problems with bad buys!

Agree1 Disagree1

Get Big Eck back now whilst he is available. He could be just the man for us.

Agree2 Disagree2

Big Eck just chucked Forest get him at Ibrox - its a no brainer!

Agree1 Disagree2

Celtic fan here. I've been telling my bear pals big Butcher is the man for the job but I think Eck would be an even better appointment if you can get him. I think he would be keen. He must be fed up of south of the border after all the changes in clubs and this latest fiasco at Nottm Forrest. A job like Rangers, building them up again is long term and I think I would suit him to have a bit of stability and at a club he loves.

Agree2 Disagree1

I think we can all leave ally well alone yes he has bought some of the team in but would it be the players if he was on same budget as all other managers and we are a 3rd division team at present and not a lot of quality at the min but a lot of players growing with the team soon have a few more quality players to learn youngsters once ban is lifted so to all on allies back ffs give him a chance {The Ed039's Note - You cant be serious?)

Agree1 Disagree0

Why can't he be serious? Ally will make a lot of people eat their words, get off the guys back, have some patience, he had pittance to spend, mostly trialists just to make numbers up, ok Black didn't work out, not yet anyway, we are all blue noses here, unite behind the guy until it's untenable.

Agree3 Disagree1

McCoist must go he should be getting more from the players he has, most of them played well in spl for there old clubs last season, they don't look fit what do they do at murry park

Agree1 Disagree1

05 Feb 2013 19:36:41
black can be a good player for rangers but he's mind is else where as he just wants to put the boot in and its putting him of his game atm is form is shocking but he will come good am sure of that

Agree1 Disagree1

This rangers team is not a young team there most mid 20s half the team are spl level players and our budget is like lower half spl teams and were strugling against teams in lowest division ally has to take the blame he lost a massive lead in spl b4 we went into admin has been pumped in nere every cup we've been in maybe time to go upstairs
me thinks there are sereous problems at murry park regards to training caus the players don't look fit and cg is hiding alsorts from us worrying times ahead {The Ed039's Note - Sorry, but your statement been pumped in nere every cup is wrong, we HAVE been pumped in every cup)

Agree1 Disagree3

He's had a pittance to spend?! He's had more than every club in the country apart from one!

Agree1 Disagree1

What does ian durrant do // {The Ed039's Note - Helps with training, scouts opposition, helps with the reserve team)

Agree0 Disagree0

Durrant also said, ;we can win the four cups. samdaza said the same, is there something in the tea at MP

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Feb 2013 21:35:39
Helps with the reserve team? Our 1st team is the reserve team!

Agree0 Disagree0

If McCoist is sacked who will take over, rangers are in the 3rd division of Scottish Football and cannot buy any players till Jan 2014 only free transfers in the summer, no decent manager will take that on

Agree1 Disagree0

Greens principle aim this year is to get season ticket money secured, that's £7 million more for him and his pals to squander.

Winning div3 in 2 weeks - means ST at current rate 38k or more possible, unless big upset (all cups done) - only flea in ointment would be sacking ally - as this could undermine ST income.

So ally will survive, at least untill majority of ST in the bank, if 40k buy tickets green has options, if 30k buy then could be bleak.

Real issue is season ticket price increase?

How much? 10%, 20% more
How will increasing price affect sales.

Much Higher price and Much less tickets = Bad days
(this like charles dickens, and mr mcawber. )

Agree0 Disagree0

I cannot believe there are Rangers fans who are unaware of the simple fact that the squad is the 2nd highest paid in Scotland by miles, and I mean miles.

6 million per year dwarfs the SPL outwith Celtic and there is simply no excuse for getting outplayed by any other team apart from Celtic.

Get a grip of reality.

Agree0 Disagree0

6 million a year (going by papers it may be more it may be less who knows) but that is for a squad of 20 players an average of 5769 grand a week. no one earns that in any other club. the performances the players give us is a joke. the signings are beyond garbage. those who think ally needs time need to see these figures and possibly montrose figures and get a look at themself

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no way butcher will ever take over as Rangers manger. He might be an ibrox legend, but he hates the club! Anyone who thinks he would even consider the job at rangers clearly haven't read his book. {The Ed039's Note - There is my next autobiography read then)

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres no way butcher would come on board I think ally will stay on I know some of the new players have not been great I think this reflects on the pressure the manager has been under it would be very unfair to sack ally there is loads more to be done many hard years ahead i'm afraid before we get back to the top let's not kid ourselves on its the long haul ahead it won't be easy more support is needed and with the rising prices of basics to support a family and to get by to make ends meet it will be more difficult welcolme to the real world

Please be true!

Agree0 Disagree2

Wish it was true but sadly I fear you are talking b******s!

Rangers1

Agree0 Disagree1

If winning div 3 is the main priority then you do not need a wage bill of 6 million to do so. Rangers could have signed up the best of div 1-2-3 for a fraction of the wage bill and stockpiled cash for the return to the SPL. Lower league players would have bust a gut to play for Rangers and low wages affords high win bonuses to further motivate the players.
A 6 million wage bill suggests Rangers had ambitions in the cups in order to keep the fans motivated, and it just didn't work out. The bottom line is there is no team outwith Celtic that comes close to this wage bill and the division they are playing in should be irrelevant.
Rangers should have won all the cups they played in unless Celtic knocked them out, and they didn't, Rangers were knocked by teams being paid far less for their efforts. Now they are stuck with contracts for duds and non-triers that they cannot afford to terminate. Winning div 3 does not cover up the current shambles on the park and next year will not be much better.

Oh deat another liar past 10 am and wait oh no press conferance more false lies another one expised

Ffs let the manager get on with the job

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a liar its not even a rumour its just boring listening to same drivell on here that ally is going to go WELL HE isn't END OF

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the fact that for a change we have someone who loves this club and turns out to play for the badge and yet we sit here and say let's get rid of him, I was at the Queens Park game and to book honest yeah the first half wasn't superb by any means, but if you look at it none of the first half performances really have been, but the second half was another story, we destroyed them and score four fantastic goals with passing and speed that even Barcelona would have been happy with (maybe slight exaggerated) but think about it we have easily won the league, we put out an SPL team in the cup and lost to Dundee United who had just got a new manager so that would lift them but also they have played together for a lot longer than rangers have, we lost to Inverness and to be honest at that stage they were one of the best teams on performance at that time in Scotland even putting Cektic to the sword recently. We have to look into reality here. We are in the third division and won it, and to be honest I really didn't expect anything else, but I also saw us play Motherwell off the park at Ibrox at a time we were looking shaky, and we had a decent cup run until being knocked out by Dundee United, beating teams comfortably from higher leagues, so that makes me think that once we get to the 2nd and 1st divisions we will manage with the squad we have, but let be honest we will see new faces arrive and some faces will depart. But let's get behind our squad and fight together not against each other.
