Believable6 Unbelievable4

For once a hope fourth official is wrong or we have underbid really really dont want this waste of money at Ibrox, first touch like a rapist.looks like he s never finished his dinner never mind a chance does run fae box to box bit like a headless chicken we all know dont know if he eats leggo though

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy that cant finish but got a gd few goals last season frm midfield in a very average side... plus hes a young player plenty of time for improvment

Rangers have re-signed rookie defender Kyle Bartley from Arsenal on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old joined the Scottish giants in January in a similar deal and he will arrive at Murray Park on Friday.

Bartley's stay north of the border was cut short after he sustained a knee injury in the Europa League in March.

He has now recovered from the injury and displayed his fitness during pre-season with the Gunners.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has moved quickly to strengthen his team after they were dumped out of the Champions League qualifying stages by Malmo.

Club owner Craig Whyte has stated there will be more signings to bolster the squad before the end of the transfer window and Bartley would appear to be the first of a clutch of new arrivals.

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Kevin Thomson has another broken leg. good player but probably out for the whole of next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Bartley is agreat loan signing. If his Arsenal mate Murphy signs as well- we would be moving in the right direction again. Need a centre mid though.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moving in the right direction with loans? will it be a u-turn when they buggar off at the end of it then? doughball

Rangers need 2 central defenders cuellar and the big from anderlecht two of them 5 million , midfielder either Kevin Thomson or David bently on loan wages might be an issue Alan smith ? Stricker seen murphy he's a good player y not ? Kaukuta on loan bring in few player more depth

Believable3 Unbelievable10

Kevin Thomson behave trips over a daisy out for 2 months

Agree0 Disagree0

He's better than edu . Who di you we should sign then mr know it all ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think we need two more cb now that Bartley is back. One is enough. We need a left winger and a creative mid. Another striker for sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boughera is going ? Weir gorin Bartley broadfoot we need 2 for depth Bartley can play defensive midfielder two, winger odonko watched him training looks quick very clever feet

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather see ness get a good run of games when fit than thomson in the team JMGERS

Agree0 Disagree0

Kevin thomson has a broken leg mr know feck all if your gonna get smart atleast have the brains to check the players status

Agree0 Disagree0

Must admit I would like the boy from Chelsea on Loan Josh Macceran. Similar player to Lampard according to reports and England and I think it would be a great move for all parties

Agree0 Disagree0

His status his he will be back in September he plays for the jersey and didn't put a foot wrong at rangers plus he's left footed and Scottish , possible transfer in January if gers don't get there act together but have faith in ness .

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't understand 90% of this post, it is a langauge i have never come across....

RANGERS have clinched a deal to bring Kyle Bartley back to Ibrox - and he could face Chelsea on Saturday.

The official site can reveal that Arsenal have agreed to let the young defender join Rangers on loan for the season and he will arrive at Murray Park tomorrow.

Bartley, of course, had a loan spell with the Light Blues last season when he arrived in the January window and played an important role in the early months of the year,

He scored a vital goal at New St Mirren Park when Rangers were struggling with injuries and he also played in the Europa League.

Unfortunately he suffered a knee injury against PSV Eindhoven which put him out for the rest of the campaign.

However, he fully recovered and took part in Arsenal's pre-season campaign.

Ally McCoist made no secret that he was keen to land his man and now the 20-year-old centre back is returning to Ibrox.

There is still some paperwork to tie up but all things being equal Bartley will be involved against Chelsea on Saturday.

Good player, and wants to play for us....quality addition.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's one of Whytes 2 transfers he said could be tied up this week, I wonder if we'll get the other

Agree0 Disagree0

So much for the warchest then, loan signings we can never hope of getting permanent, and not exactly a superstar iether?
penny pinching cnts, nothing will be spent without money comng in from transfers

Agree0 Disagree0

Young kyle has great talent and we wanted him- now we have him surely its as a first team regular ? get him straight into the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Boogie money will be spent

Agree0 Disagree0

I did post this about Kyle, the Ed can verify it. I do not and cannot reveal my sources, but I do not post unless I have something of substance. (I'm sure the Eds can read back upon my posts and verify this by both my id and email) I am lucky that I have been involved in football a long time and have many good contacts. The downside is that I cannot reveal my contacts, because to do so would lead the trail straight back to me. We will make moves swiftly to fill the positions we need to strengthen. We gambled on having enough quality to see us through against Malmo, however we could not have accounted for the lack of professionalism shown by two of our most experienced players. That is what ultimately cost us. Anyway, I digress. Verhoek and Juhasz remain primary targets, but as always, things can be complicated. Bougherra will be moving, it's no secret. The money will be used to try to improve our chances of acquiring the players targeted.

Anderlecht to accept Rangers 2.7m bid for Roland Juhasz and he will be a Rangers player before we kick off against Chelsea on Sat.

Believable20 Unbelievable9

Provide a source or go and see if theres anything on the tv plonker

Agree0 Disagree0

Who told u this hope it wasnt craig whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

Did u speak to anderlecht personally??

Agree0 Disagree0

What makes you think we can suddenly agree this?

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't find any mention of this anywhere... a source would be great. The player has mentioned (STV FOOTBALL) that he would still like to come to Rangers despite their exit from the CL, but no mention of Anderlecht accepting or going to accept an offer. Some more cover at CB would be good, but my priorities would be an additional goal scorer and an attacking midfielder.

The Channel Islands have produced some top footballing talent over the years - and now a teenager has been signed by Glasgow Rangers.

Jamie Burrows, 16,

Believable16 Unbelievable9

Spose that makes up for last night Mr Whyte...

Agree0 Disagree0

No doubt he, ll never play a 1st team game end up on loan to a league 2 team and never be heard of again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some welcome that is

Welcome you man and I like many others wish you a long and happy career at our great club

Agree0 Disagree0

You guys ever heard of optimisum, no i guess not {Ed047's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, I'd have taken le'tiss in a minute, nothing wrong with the channel isles......

Agree0 Disagree0

To the clown that seems to think I did not see him, I saw him at Springfield park in jersey, he plays for st. Pauls and they wore yellow and black. Clearly you don't get out much but some of us do. With all the nonsense on this site you query whether I have seen him play. I am not saying he is the next messi, but him and one other guy who has just gone to accrington were the stand outs. Get a life

Agree0 Disagree0

Which island was he from?

Agree0 Disagree0

Check out Jamie burrows st pauls jersey on you tube, great goal

Agree0 Disagree0

What was the name of the guy that went to accrington? how can you not remember his name so easily? stop using google like you spooted a young guy playing football and rememeber him ya saddo

RANGERS HAVE AT LEAST SIX TARGETS OF WHICH THEY HOPE TO HAVE AT LEAST TWO OF THEM IN THIS WEEK
SOURCE SSN.

Believable18 Unbelievable17

They have been saying that since the transfer window opened.... 48 hours.... another 48 hours.... i love my team & want players in but would rather they kept there mouths shut till the deal is almost done we have been made a laughing stock in the last few weeks & it will get worse if we continue to offer peanuts for hald decent player... i think we will be lucky to get who ally wants :(

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard this before. No chance it will happen. Just some more lip service from Mr Whyte.

Agree0 Disagree0

Every week u's say 1 or 2 players 2 b in this week, how can u beieve craig "talks" shyte

Agree0 Disagree0

WE have alreasdy had six other targets of which we have signed none. What about Danns - Ally said "we are about over the line with that - should be signed tomorrow" - did it ever happen - no Tomer Hamed - no Craig Conway no Kenny Miller - no Vladimir Weiss - no Goodwillie - no WE will not get Bartley so might as well move on. O donker has no good knees so what is the point {Ed047's Note - Weiss and Bartley would jump at the chance. Man City don't want Weiss up here and Arsenal haven't made a decision on Bartley

Agree0 Disagree0

It sounds exactly like the same statement Whyte made 3 weeks ago promising new players before a certain weekend, maybe better if he just shuts his face

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't agree more well said mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard it all before

Agree0 Disagree0

Have heard Craig Whyte has to be the new presenter of jackanory and his co-presenters will be Santa Claus and the tooth fairy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt believe f*** all anymore until i c new sighnings on the steps of ibrox in the famous blue watp gstq

Agree0 Disagree0

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, getting boring with all the s**t talk mr whyte, why dont you stop showing yourself up and keep yer gub shut

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, I know Weiss would jump at the chance of coming back but my point is he is not coming back - not because he does not want to - but he is not coming. Wenger has already said if Bartley goes out again it will be to the premiership - so, even thought I am sure he would want to come back - he will not. My point is they will not be back for whatever reason. {Ed047's Note - my point was that the beginning of your post suggested that Rangers were entirely to blame. My point was that in the case of Bartley and Weiss we had no control.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Rangers will be looking at players from EPL sides that don't make the 25 man squad. We welcome the chase, no need to panic

Agree0 Disagree0

He talks the talk but deffo dosen't walk the walk, he is saying what he thinks we want to here but i for one don't believe a word he says.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard it all before. just another way of saying in the next 48 hours. a wee bit less talking and a lot more of doing your jobs.(thats to EVERYONE at rangers)

Agree0 Disagree0

What's that you say about Bartley? Which Bartley is back playing for the gers again then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Tell me you are not getting excited about bartley on loan, ffs hes a raw kid who looked decent in games against the poorer spl teams, dont remember seeing much of him doing the business against the other mob

Agree0 Disagree0

To all the knobs above doubting the signing policy, get a grip the transfer window is open til the end of august, we still have nearly 3 and a half weeks left, as for the tool who bumped his gums about Bartley not comin back, i expect a full and frank apology to me and my fellow rangers supporters who will always believe in our beloved team not some armchair a**ehole who jumps on the bandwagon when the goin gets tough WE ARE THE PEOPLE

Agree0 Disagree0

Well if thers 6 targets that will be about 42 bids by the going rate

Agree0 Disagree0

Cuellar, Juhasz, Verhoek, Davidson, Murphy, Eremenko are the 6

Believable21 Unbelievable16

Is that a guess ?.....more gash m8, how many of those six will we actually get ?

Agree0 Disagree0

N how do you know? Is ur name ally mccoist or craig whyte??

Agree0 Disagree0

Id be happy with that but - someone outa that 6 shoulda been in by now

Agree0 Disagree0

Eremenkos on £40k a week are you mad

Agree0 Disagree0

First three-no chance.

The other three are mince

DazzaBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love that but instead of Davidson maybe Odonkor

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean the 6? how do u post a rumour?

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's hoping, all classy players.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be happy with that

Agree0 Disagree0

U dont know that

Agree0 Disagree0

Murphy is free so how can we ave a bid in for him ?? plz explain

Agree0 Disagree0

Juhasz verhoek murphy the other 3 I would doubt very much if they even had bids in for them..cuellar is injured and I would want to see him in training then full
medical along with many scans and 2or3 opinions on his fitness before I shelled out hard cash for him maybe hes damaged goods..also I hope goian is going to be fit also wondering a bit about his price tag and why..looks like he might be a hell of a player for us I hope so?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not that arsenal one the motherwell one hes taking about

Agree0 Disagree0

He means jamie not rhys murphy

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the big hungarian is a realistic target, if we can meet the fee. I'd rather Bartley over Cuellar. The money saved could be put into the Verhoek deal. Eremenko would be great too. Davidson and Murphy though I don't know enough about, are they really good enough to cut it?

Agree0 Disagree0

We aint got a bid in for jamie murphy now this guy is full of craig whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

Good call m8 i also think Odonker could be a wee surprise and playing a blinder on sat against Chelsea Chelsea

Agree0 Disagree0

Nobody has mentioned the boy bedoya who may be brought in before january if that counts as one. i reiterate time again on here that george boyd would be a smashing player for the rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Was eremenko not with kilmarnock, if i'm right about tht then i doubt he would've been on 40k a week

Agree0 Disagree0

Eremenko 40k ? are you on

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll put my balls on the line and say we'll get none of them. Can see new targets arising on the next week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bedoya is one of the 6. Still trying to get him now instead of mid-season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Eremenko was only on loan at kilmarnock and they didnt pay all of his wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong..bartleys not on your list and hes back for the season

Agree0 Disagree0

Who to god is george boyd? ok hes carlos cuellars window cleaner...right ok then..

I have a bit of a worry, we are now talking about going for Jamie Murphy and I think we could have got him for just shy of a million...my worry is, now that Motherwell have seen what D Utd got for Goodwillie will they now punt the price up and look for 2mil also?

They'd have to be stupid not too in my opinion. GW had Cardiff, Blackpool and us after him and then Blackburn turned up...Stoke, Wigan and ourselves are keen on Murphy, thats two premiership teams showing interest straight away. We need to put in a solid bid straight away...say 1mil plus extras for appearances and international appearances, we need to get to speak to this boy and (altho i know this wont be hard as he is a bluenose) get McCoist to sell the club to him as he'll maybe have his eyes on the big bucks of the premiership, he'll know GW is on 20k and got a nice fee also, we will prob go in with 12-15k tops. We need to get players into Ibrox and show them why it is an honour to wear the Royal Blue.

Bazza Bear

Believable19 Unbelievable5

Jamie Murphy is a big rangers fan and he knows Rangers are interested in him, he's not interested in going to the Premiership yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right mate, got it in one, men who are proud to wear the shirt, like Healy, Davis and Lafferty among others

Agree0 Disagree0

Just cause you sau he is a big Rangers fan that does not make it true. How do yu know this? Goodwillie was supposed to be a big Rangers fan - has he signed?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wanted murphy over goodwillie anyway. Dunkie Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

The players tht love the jersey r all from the UK apart from papac, ie healy, davis, lafferty, naismith, mcgregor

weeblue

Agree0 Disagree0

A good first offer? going against the grain there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah know big murph personally & as the name suggests hes waitin for the other lot to come in , would never sign for us but a nice big lad all the same, mg

Agree0 Disagree0

Am from the mossend and know murphy hes not a rangers fan too bad for us hes one of them ...dno why our own fans make up rumours then add big rangers fan even thoo its well knwn they aint

Agree0 Disagree0

Talking colin nish pal... I went to the same school as Jamie, Hamilton Academy, he's a Bear through & through, stop sniffing the glue

Agree0 Disagree0

"Scotland U-21 striker and self confessed Rangers fan, Jamie Murphy, has emerged as a surprise target for Neil Lennon."

You can read right?

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not a big honour to anyone anymore regardles which jersey it is.. its all about the cash, miller, boyd, thomson, they could all have said no and stayed for the honour.
money talks and now more than ever

Agree0 Disagree0

The boys a die hard blue nose, he's already had offers from south of the boarder and has delayed any siging talks with every club that has cone in for him as he is waiting on rangers making there move. When the move happens there won't be any stumbling block with regards to contracts n all that b*****ks as he just wants to play for rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2011 17:40:18
For all those rumours about eremenko going to.rangers are not true unless he takes a massive wage cut he was on 40k a week at his last club the only reason killie got him.was because Mixu was a friend of eremenko and his former manager and killie paid none of his wages so unfortunately none of the old firm can afford his wages unless a wage cut

Believable6 Unbelievable16

Don't post bull mate doesnt get you anywhere ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

..Well hes not on £40 grand a week now because hes a free agent...and he did say he, d like to stay in Scotland..

Agree0 Disagree0

Eremenko was not on 40k a week , he was on 20k which rangers could pay for the right player, Eremenko will join Rangers in the next week ... 4IAR

Agree0 Disagree0

Erimenko will probably over price himself in terms of wages for scottish clubs but I still think hes lazy .

Agree0 Disagree0

So would I like to stay in football if I could command £40k a week ffs

Agree0 Disagree0

They actually paid 1 pence of his wages, u havety pay somwthing. Tbh its a bit pointless

Agree0 Disagree0

How long did it take you to make that mince up.

Agree0 Disagree0

A think u will find eremenko is one of the 6 players who whyte was talking about (my personal opinion) and he was on 21,000 a week no where near 40,000

If rangers are going to bid 500k then I think Whyte would be the first to know about this, the amount of flaws in your post demonstrates just how much bs your talking. You don't know Sott Arfield, You don't know what Rangers re going tooffer - In short you know nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

Look scotty if thats you ?this aint the way to do it....why wont falkirk have you back son?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that how far our ambition has fell arfield & davidson. What we need are more attack minded midfielders who have pace, can spot a pass & have an eye for goal

SSN Craig whyte says we have 6 offers out at the moment for players. Who are they then?

Believable6 Unbelievable10

I guess Cuellar may be one - Veroek - Juahsz - Davidson - Bedoya - posssibly Murphy? I'dlike to think there were a few extra players we've got bids in for than these 6 - rather a european midfielder than Davidson. However, if we got all 6 of these players, we'd be sorted in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we announce who we have bidded for means other teams can come in for them.

papac at centre back last night was great, time in time out he puts a shift in for us, the guy is world class in defence and never gets enough praise, i dont think papac is on anything like whittakers wage.. im scratching my mind?

Believable34 Unbelievable3

Papac is the Rangers Unsung Hero.

He has been for many many years, dont forget his original position was CB, we made him into a LB.

All Celtic fans I know highly regard Papac as one our best player, alot of Rangers fans fail to see this for some reason.

Hes the first name after McGregor on the team sheet everytime for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree papac is amazing l, Whittaker should pass over a years wages to Yorkhill for his stupidity last night.

Papac should go down as a rangers Legend

Agree0 Disagree0

Leave papac in there. He played well in there and Wallace played well on the left. Please give Edu a chance at right back because Whittaker thinks he is better than he is and if there was competition for rb we might just see an improvement

Agree0 Disagree0

Yup i totally agree mate , whittaker isnt worth his £20k plus and god knows how much he gets in appearence fees n all the rest of it. Sasa isnt greedy thats why he isnt in the £20k bracket. Been a great servent to this football team in his tenure here i will be sad to see him go at the end of the season A true unsung hero in the last 6 years for Glasgow Rangers. 1 Sasa Papac, Theres only 1 Sasa Papac

Agree0 Disagree0

Have u ever watched rangers b4 mate, he canny header the ball and has been gettin his daydreaming covered up by davie weir for 3 seasons.average yes. worldclass have u been staying in vietnam?

Agree0 Disagree0

True he's not the best in the air but that aside he's a fantastic player season in season out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Same papac is 3rd pick on my teamsheet every wk aftr mcgregor n jelavic papac is quality LEGEND

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree papac derserves alot of credit he played like a true ranger unlike some of his team mates he can walk away from the tie with his head held high, also maybe edu should go to rightback he has the look and style that could suit it he isnt a high level centre mid maybe we need to lay off him though build his confidence

Agree0 Disagree0

Papac never seems to receive any credit due, I would have offered him more than a 1 year extension, before giving Whittaker the extension and wages he was given. I personally have always rated him, and to the guy being critical of his ability in the air, show me one perfect player..... {Ed047's Note - definitely

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a good player but hes not this good

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant scretch your mind, you can scratch your head, silly billy

Agree0 Disagree0

Top post buddy, you can tell by the amount of positive replies. I'd take a few more like Papac any day. In my opinion, the east-ish europeans like serbians, croats etc are the most suited to the british game, they quietly get on with the job without being greedy. Sign him on another 2/3 year contract ally.
Bazbear {Ed001's Note - like Modric you mean angling for a move to Chelsea because they offered him a pay rise? You can't judge a player on nationality or you will be made a fool of, each player is an individual and you have to look at them as such.}

Would love to see a player like this at Ibrox If we r penny pinching then surely this is cheap enough Get him signed Super Ally n Mr Whyte. WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

He is on a free and the wages he is reportedly asking are out side our budget. Greedy, Lazy and would not bring anything to the team. No thanks and stop the lying.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yip hes a free agent

Agree0 Disagree0

4-4-1-1 with Eremenko playing in the hole behind Jela - dynamite

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes still on the books at metalist kharkiv but hes been told to stay away and is training by himself in finland the last i heard

Agree0 Disagree0

...Would be a great little or no risk signing...just what we need a bit of creativity in the middle of the park..never misses a pass either...get him signed NOW...

Agree0 Disagree0

Metalist Kharkiv are in the Europa hope we sign eremenko then we pump them lol BillyBlue73

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance he s on 40k/week.

Agree0 Disagree0

If he is a free aganet and he is so good, ie: good enough for the Rangers, Why is he still without a club ? I feel he has no pace and has had no pre season either, so a bit of a risk right now in that respect.

Ed i hope u post this mate. Its wrong for Celtic fans to come on here and slag Rangers for missing out on signings but Ed uv just made a statement there and iv heard it off a lot of other Rangers fans. Why is it uz think that because we have only signed 3 players that our summer has been as unsuccessful as yours. Celtic didnt need to make a lot of signings this summer. Just a bit of fine tuning if u will. We have strenght in depth sumthing that Rangers are clearly lacking.

Drew {Ed019's Note - is that your deep squad that have been runners up for the past 3 seasons?

Believable5 Unbelievable15

Well said ED. When we sign some other players (and we will) are you going to admit rangers will win the league DREW? we have the same spl winning team and have already added to it and as Mr Whytes statement on the official rangers page says "we will be adding more players to our team" so if you think your going to win the league think again. We are the champions. Oh I feel a little song coming on there, 4IAR timmy. NS SPARKY72

Agree0 Disagree0

What strength do Celtic have??? Answers on a postcard please to Glen michaels cartoon cavalcade. Strength what a laugh

Agree0 Disagree0

It's quite sad in my oppinion that septic fans have to come on rangers websites, inevitably trying to find something to be offended by. Quite funny when u think about it {Ed047's Note - so is it sad or funny?

Agree0 Disagree0

There u go again Ed, gettin all defensive. Im only talking about since Neil Lennon took charge. Last year Rangers one the league fair and square but it was by a single point. U cant expect the same players to go to the well as it is and expect it to keep happening. Celtic team is settled with an average of 24 i believe. Im not on here gloating im just stating facts. Once we have a goalkeeper in place i'll be absolutley delighted with our squad. Can u or any other rangers fan honestly say the same?

Drew {Ed047's Note - Ed019 has the right to be defensive. That's what we all do when someone has a go at our beloveds. I won't have a go at you cos you have a fair point, but I'll reiterate what Ed019 meant, we have been Champions 3 years running with little or no spending. Why should he expect us to fail this time round?

Agree0 Disagree0

Simples m8 your team are about to lose Issaguire Kayal and if rumours are to believed Hooper

Agree0 Disagree0

I would rather have a small squad of winners with trophies than a big squad of p***ks

Agree0 Disagree0

To the person who wrote " i would rather have a small squad of winners with trophies than a big squad a plicks " belter on yersel

Agree0 Disagree0

This f**king Drew character is obsessed with this sight, I have seen posts where he totally slags us off, and now it wants a wee post to discuss it's wee teams signing policy ?? Back to your own board and concentrate on being a world record " RUNNER UP " Ya Muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant believe all this. Think ive made a fair statement, wasnt being offensive or derogatory. Im sure there will be sum level headed gers on here who wud agree with wot im saying. I f u think Rangers will win the league then fair do's i happen to think different, thats opinions for you. As for Mr whyte, id take anything he says with a pinch of salt. Remeber the 15 mil warchest he promised about a month ago.

Drew

Drew

Agree0 Disagree0

Little or no money ? Boogie 2.5 m , Davis 3.5 m , mculloch 2.5 m , edu 2 mil , jellylegs 4 mil , beattie 1.5 , laffable 4 mil , miller 3 mil just some of the little or no money in the last 4 year . Wee Lenny 19 mil brought in last season 9 mil spent .

Agree0 Disagree0

The myth that Rangers have spent little or no money for the last 3 years is nonsense. When you look at the money Walter Smith spent since he came back in up until he left I think you'll find Its more like 20M, which is quite alot actually.

Agree0 Disagree0

Drew u have thought that for the last 3 years an looked what happened so bye bye an come back in may

Agree0 Disagree0

And lost to swansea, inter wolves etc etc

Agree0 Disagree0

So celtic fans shud not be aloud to post on here ? its a public forum
daviebhoy08

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you find the Fact that your team will lose Kayal Issaguire and possibly Hooper offensive merely stating 2 facts and one strong rumour

Agree0 Disagree0

In response to the 15m warchest Whyte prmised Drew, I don't remember ever haring Mr Whyte make such a promise I think you need to take what you read in the papers with a pinch of salt, the man has never quoted an exact figure of what his extra investmentthis season will be, all media speculation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Drew you are spot on, other than GK Celtic have at least two players for each position. We have strength in depth, unlike Rangers.

If you're looking for a reasoned debate you won't get it here, as the people on this site can't admit there in trouble. (even ther Ed)

They don't seem to remember the difference Lennon has made in our squad, without the f*ck ups at home to Dundee Utd, Killie, dundee utd and the loss in inverness we WOULD have been champions. They forget we won 7 points out of 12, in the old firm league games.

We have added to that squad and we will be stronger this year

Rangers will miss Walter, you can't tell me he won't/hasn't been missed. Plus Weir is not going to play the same amount, Bougherra is away. All this added up means rangers will struggle to do what they did last year

Now gentlemen both Drew and i expect discussion on this topic, not just dissmissive comments.

DazzaBhoy {Ed047's Note - we have three Eds and I'm very fair in what I allow - in fact my fellow Gers fans have criticized me for being too tolerant - but you my friend can go and post elsewhere if that's how you feel. I'd love to hear your definition of trouble? (but don't tell me cos I'll probably not post it with your attitude)

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a level headed ger and you are a muppet. Celtic have a strong midfield and a good left back, the rest are pi..

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice attitude there ed019 NOT and i'm a Rangers fan.Moaning about sceptic fans coming on here and their ed is this and that and you come out with this? {Ed047's Note - when did Ed 019 say 'this and that' about the celtic ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

I consider myself a pretty unbiased fan, don't get me wrong I'm rangers through and through but I can certainly cconsider both sides of the argument fairly but I think people on both sides of this debate need to stop with the ed bashing, these guys are giving up their time and putting in effort just to be subjected to torrents of abuse, remeer we only see the posts that are actually suitable for uploading, I can't imagine how bad some of them must be so how about giving the guys a break at the end of the day this site that we all love to come on and have a bit of banter and a laugh with each other is only here because of them so how about we keep it friendly folks ffs.
Jay {Ed003's Note - That's more like it}

Agree0 Disagree0

We dont seem to remember the difference lennon has made what difference? you lost the leauge you got humped off braga and utrecht and i mean humped and the gers won the double. a good keeper is worth at least 15 points per season. if you sign a new keeper he will have to learn the strengths of the defenders in front of him and who to communicate to that takes time and the season has started. i get your point about celtics depth but that brings its own problems when boys want played. also to many nationalities are bad for a club the players break off in to we groups and thats no good. celtic have good strikers and i fully expect a good celtic team this season BUT and its a big BUT the defence is not solid now i know you will go on about there record but you must see that your c backs are p poor.

Agree0 Disagree0

OK lets face facts and figures regardless of what was spent or not Rangers 54 titles Celtic 42. 12 more titles proof is in the pudding we welcome the chase from the darkside WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Quite honestly, it's pretty sad for anyone of either persuasion to go on an internet site to wind up the other side for petty thrills. These are rumours sites, to discuss your own team's transfer activity. If you have nothing better to do than try to antagonise strangers through an anonymous forum, I really pity you. {Ed025's Note - well said mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to raise issue with the plank that said "if we hadn't dropped points against dutd, hearts, dutd and inverness we'd have won the league" what a t**t you are that arguement could be used by any team if hamilton had won all their games they would be spl champs and no relegated to the depths of the 1st div. Away and chase yer tail

Agree0 Disagree0

I am more than willing to respectfully and honestly talk football with anyone, Celtic fans included. I have on a few occassions but Miko, Drew, Dazzabhoy etc either haven't seen/read or replied to my posts.

Good to see mr whyte releasing a statement on the official rangers page. Saying he will stand shoulder to shoulder with mccoist and there WILL be more new players at ibrox this year. Cmon then Mr Whyte. Show us.

Believable16 Unbelievable8

A bit 2 late for that

Agree0 Disagree0

Words are cheap mate hopefully some of the comments on here have got back to him and that he realises that the fans dont blame Ally, want Ally as manager, that we blame whyte for whats happened and he has no chance of using him as a scapegoat he may actually give Ally a fighting chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasn, t he said that all bloody summer, fed up of the same statements, show us

Agree0 Disagree0

Mr whytes playing to much fifa on the xbox. Hes a waste of time hes letting us down.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with 3rd reply

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason we are out of Europe is the fact whitty got sent off and then bougy. Simple. Its still the same team as last year, we should have beat malmo over the two legs. We've signed three players, half of what Ally said he was gonna sign. Get a grip Whyte has spent millions on fee's and wages so far. I believe we will get another 3-4 players before the end of August. Take your time Ally and get the right players in

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds like the dreaded vote of confidence to me. Dont belive a word whyte says he has scrimped his way so far and nothing he says will convince me he has rangers interests at heart only his own

Agree0 Disagree0

Ssn said that his statement was about "six offers out there, and we hope to bring in a COUPLE more plyers " The same sh@t we have been hearing for weeks, if the man had made realistic bids for and offers to players we may still be in the f**king champions league, ALL drivel............. Does he mean players from St Mirren, or St Johnstone ? it's a JOKE

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the 6th reply. Read the statement and its very true ... a lack of signings didnt cause the exit. 2 moments of madness from 2 players cost us (plus ref could and should have sent off one more of their players) but still we were let down by wat some fans claim "our best players" yet Whittaker has been average and Bougie doesnt want to be there. We are working at getting players in and it takes a while to conduct negotiations. Most English teams and others are just back from pre season tours so lets just calm down {Ed025's Note - well said

Agree0 Disagree0

If bougy doesn, t want to be there then surely Ally is to blame for playing him? Calm down? We pissed about with stupid bloody insulting offers for goodwillie and could have had him weeks ago, hina heard of cueller in ages, wina pay for the dutch winger and have to wait till january for our usa midfielder??? i, m fed up of his lies

Agree0 Disagree0

Your fed up of Whyte's lies? Bartley loan confirmed this evening, Ortiz, Goian and Wallace already signed and several moves either in progress or been rebuffed by the clubs involved. That's not lies, it's called responsible ownership my friend.

Agree0 Disagree0

They should have been in for c.l. to ensure we qualified, dont care what he says the budget will be different now, it has to be.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who else was he going to play in the game against Malmo Broadfoot ? sorry but he doesnt cut it for me never has and sadly never will yes he trys will give him tht be he has no ability. As for the signings why didnt we get them in earlier well Arsenal wanted to watch Bartley in the Emirates cup so tht was never going to be an early deal and all the other players were not available at the time... Verhock stated he wanted to play for den haag in the Europa League game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ps as for the Bedoya lad... hes a pre contract and I'm sorry but why pay 800k for a guy who we will get for around half that a week before the window shuts ... thts gd business sense because the 400k will go on another player so stop saying Whyte doesnt have a clue and show us the money. He stated hes running a tight ship and I'm glad because we were in a right mess last year and years before

For all the frustrated bears out there, craig white has posted a statement on rangers app, i imagine it will be on the website too about the current transfer window, it does state that him and ally will stand shoulder to shoulder to ensure we are successfull this season. May want to take a look.

Believable8 Unbelievable9

And don't forget the bit about new players.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2011 16:32:26
Anyone know what the craig whyte statement is on the rangers website ? Won't open for me

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Just that hes wanting to work together with ally n bring more players in

Agree0 Disagree0

As expected. It wasn't a lack of new signing that cost us our place in the champions league, it was the fact we only had nine men. Predictable and a load of Craig Shyte.

Agree0 Disagree0

Regarding whyte statement,
He is AGAIN assuring fans that there is going to be more signings, him and ally had a good chat on plane coming home, he said as a fan he is disapointed at not playing in champs league, he is going to back ally

Agree0 Disagree0

Basically says we WILL have new players in by the end of the transfer window

Agree0 Disagree0

It's talking about bringing I'n new players even though we went out of the CL. good reading.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its on STV website

Agree0 Disagree0

Like every Rangers fan I was bitterly disappointed by the result in Malmo last night and I share the supporters' frustration that we will not be competing in the Champions League this season, Whyte said in a statement on Rangers official website.

However, we will look forward and not back and we must pick ourselves up and get on with the job of ensuring that Rangers fans enjoy a successful season.

I fully understand the fans' frustration at the transfer speculation we have seen in recent weeks but the reason we lost in the Champions League is not due to a lack of signings. Had 11 players remained on the pitch last night I have no doubt we would have won the match.

Yes, we want to see new faces but we all believed we should have been strong enough over two legs against Malmo.

Our efforts to sign players have not been helped by the fact we were trying to do business early in the transfer window, lamented the chairman. Selling clubs, particularly in England, were in no rush to do make final decisions on their players.

If anyone looks at when this club's transfer business has really been done in the last few years, it is towards the end of the window, either in mid to late August or late January.

That said, we have move on and we will go forward working together as a club determined to build on our success of recent seasons.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't find any statement from CW on the Bears site.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just the usual stuff really he was dissapointed in result in malmo and he sat down with ally to talk about new signings he wants to move forward and try bring the right players and says most of the deals will prob be done by end of window ....bigt

Agree0 Disagree0

Just saying that we will still be looking to sign new faces and that Ally is the man to take us forward. New signings will definitely still be made etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just that he will stand shoulder to shoulder with ally, reassuring that more players will come in and that hes gutted like the rest of us that we lost out on champions league to a malmo side we no doubt should have been stronger than over 2 legs.he said that had we kept 11 players on the park last night we would most likely have won.

Agree0 Disagree0

Awryt bud, whyte statement just sed tht fans rest assured coz new faces r cumin in an tht we should av had a good enuff to progress in cl, he also sed tht clubs r not willing to do business so early in the window English in particular.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hate these "Backing of the board" Statements hope he means it

Canny get it to open have you gotto pay 50p to see or something

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope its true, , better prospect than goodwillie, , and lots cheaper

Agree0 Disagree0

Were did u hear this ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Does anyone not agree that Motherwell will have taken note of the D.G saga and try and pull a similar stunt if we do go in for J.Murphy ?? I know they are not that same shower of SH@T that the Thompson scum is, but it is a possibility given our dealings up to now. I would have preferred a more cloak and dagger aproach from Rangers on dealings. Rangers 'til I DIE

Agree0 Disagree0

Stuart McCall is an absolute gentleman, so I don't expect him to play hard ball. As for Motherwells board etc It's quite possibly after the GW saga.

Haha thats Goodwillie, Miller and Cuellar ye have missed out on lmao trebles coming home tae Parkhead {Ed019's Note - by treble do you mean the three signings yous have made this year? a boy whos name no-one can pronounce and two bosmans from english diddy teams? aye gid yin. four in a row.

Believable9 Unbelievable17

Rangers may have missed out on a few targets but at least rangers are bidding for people. how much has mr lemon spend of even bid this summer?? a big fat 0.

u still have the same runners up as u had last year, . where at least rangers may be missing a few but we are still spending on other,

I'm sorry i must have missed something. when did we miss out on cuellar?

Unlike the mighty gers(having a laugh) we don't need much in the way of restructuring.I can pronounce the players name very well thank u very much. The two boys that we have got on bosmans would walk into the might gers...and don't dought it for a second

HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN

hail hail {Ed019's Note - *doubt

There's a treble for you

You lot lost to swansea ya bunch of diddies

Agree0 Disagree0

"Home tae Parkhead"?
It's a part-time home....sort of like a caravan park....
Home is where you spend most of your time. Ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

Away back to your own dark site ya zoomer. And the Transfer window is still open for 3.5 weeks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyway how have we missed out on Cuellar? We have a bid accepted. Ed would it surprise you if we have agreed with Cuellar that we officially sign him toward the end of August since we get no use out of him earlier than that anyway, it would save the wages, I think that is whats happening.

GovanFR {Ed019's Note - I dont know the inns and outs of it but at the moment he is still in Spain, still injured and still contemplating his future. But yes it wouldnt make sense to pay an injured player a months wages.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your starstuded team have won one game out of the last four i.e. Wolves, Milan and Swansea.
You managed to beat a team of select supporters from the Irish league, so thats not a big surprise.
Maybe you should take your blinkers off and have a serious look at your own lot before splitting your sides at what will prove to be a minor glitch over at the sunny side.

Agree0 Disagree0

No Kayal(BOLTON) ISSAGAYGUY (LIVERPOOL) and now Hooper being strongly linked with a move to big bhoys STOKE would worry more about your Squad than ours

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't need restructuring? you finished second you diddy. i'd more more concerned in building a team that have the bottle to win a championship that gloating about coming second.

Agree0 Disagree0

How could we miss out on cuellar if he hasnt said if hes signing or not {Ed047's Note - that's already been covered mate

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought the friendly games didn't matter, well that was what was spouted after Rangers lost their three games in Germany, was there not actual part-timers in one of those games Funny how the tables turn. {Ed047's Note - the results don't matter but you lot were on giving us a roasting and now you're getting it back

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed u must be thick if u cant pronounce wanyamas name either that or u wer just trying to be a smart ass and failed . btw wee have spent more than uz this year lol wanyama 1million to ortiz 800k haha
daviebhoy08 {Ed047's Note - I am not the Ed who posted the above, I can pronounce it. I'm sure Ed019 can also but couldn't be bothered. He's more interesting things to talk about. Round of applause for Celtic, they've spent more money than us......so far

Agree0 Disagree0

U have spent more than us??
lee wallace 1.5m.....
typical smeltic fan, canny count, i blame the education.

ps. maybe smeltic should sell some of those "10m pound players" they have, ki, kayal, izzy haha, unreal u lot, honestly

away back to ur own shambolic page for runners up....again
we all know who the real shame of scotland are.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lee Wallace? 1.5m?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry i thought we just spent 1.5mil on Wallace....Maths not your strong point?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers spent 1.5 mill on Wallace so shut up bhoy, Rangers have spent more.Show more respect to your CHAMPIONS. RFC1873

Agree0 Disagree0

4 in a row here we go go back tae parkhead sadboy

Agree0 Disagree0

Good Maths there from yourself... 800k Ortiz, 800k Goian and 1.5 million Wallace which means we have spent 3.1 million. Obviously your the thick one now go concentrate on your own team (which use claim to do and that we are happier when Celtic lose than Rangers winning) and let Rangers get along

Agree0 Disagree0

Canny count canny spell(keep puttin h in the word boy and they dont know why)JMGERS

the airport bear .... looks like big chris brunt has signed a contract extension with w.b.a .... there goes another one

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Chris Brunt is on 35k a week mate.....don't be sucked in, it was never going to happen.

The days of signing because you're a Rangers fan are over, i think that's been proved over and over again.

Brunt is on that dough, playing 'every week' in the Premiership, tell me why he would drop 10-15k A WEEK in wages, and come to play against the dross up here. We're not going to get these players, we need to start realising that.

Agree0 Disagree0

What we had no chance of ever getting him

K

Agree0 Disagree0

How do you work that one out, as far as i can see Rangers never went for him. We all need to get a grip just now and not get carried away with fictitious imaginary signing targets.
Just because some posts the name of a player does not mean they will automatically become a legitimate target.

Come on we all need to calm down and play the long game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree...that's what i posted above, even if we had gone for Brunt, it's never going to happen, because we would ask him to drop 10-15k at least right away, the guy would need to be insane.

Rangers will be putting in a higher bid to St. Johnstone for Murray Davidson with decent sell on clauses as well. Have just heard that they will be looking at young Stevie May who is highly promising striker that English teams have been sniffing about.

Believable5 Unbelievable12

A sell on clause for Murray Davidson....he'll get as many games as Alan Gow.....is he better than Hutton or Ness? and if we have no one better at Murray Park, then we are as well locking the doors.

Agree0 Disagree0

Decent sell on clause you got to be kidding me who else would buy him it would be easier to get highlights out of north korea than it was to get highlights of him doing anything in a game yet another mistake

Agree0 Disagree0

Murray Davidson really hope not worst player on the park last sat, SPL plodder we had got loads of them please NO

No offence to the boy but he aint rangers quality imo and stevie may hes bollocks betr wae daisy may

Believable6 Unbelievable10

Where did you hear this from?

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard that myself, good player if we get Davidson.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye where did you here this from thats what i want to know as af been searching for it and cant see it any where

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope not, he's not the answer.

Agree0 Disagree0

What is the obsession with this boy davidson hardly noticed him at all in the game last week & surely the one position we don't need to cover is defensive midfield {Ed019's Note - he seems to be a capable box to box midfielder. good squad player.

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll be a useful squad addition because we are short in that area but we still need a bigger name/ more experienced pro to help Davis out.

Agree0 Disagree0

No harm to the lad but he's not what we need at the mo, we've got plenty young boys there just now to make the numbers up we're needing some quality brought in thats goin to go straight into the team.

Rangers likely to accept 1.5mil bid for Bougherra from lekhwiya source SSN guess we're not getting 3mil for him :/

Believable11 Unbelievable11

The fee for Bougherra is 1.7 mil. Dont know where all this 3 mil patter came from in the 1st place. I know this mob are rich but they're not stupid. Y wud anybody pay 3 mil 4 a player in the last year of his contract.

Drew

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers were never going to get £3 million for Bougherra, less than a year on his contract, could have a Kenny Miller scenario in January, also dosent want to be there.

After last night i say take the £1.5m and Get Tae

Agree0 Disagree0

Take the mill n half - offer em Whitaker too .........

Blackpool are interested in signing John Fleck on loan from Rangers. I think this would be good it would give him a bit of 1st team experience and maybe get him playing better?

Source: RangersMedia

Believable21 Unbelievable5

As long as it's just loan don't want him turning into another charlie adam when he's left the Gers

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat has he done anyway ?
he's had chances time and again
flatters 2 decieve

Agree0 Disagree0

Give him an extended run in our team

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah loan the lad

Agree0 Disagree0

Why o' WHY is there anyone at Rangers spending ANY time sorting the player OUT situation ffs How's about someone at Ibrox takes a wee bit time off fae punting players and mibbies has a wee look at BUYING one or two... just an idea

Agree0 Disagree0

Fleck......the boy HAD potential but his ego has harmed him ten fold. We're better getting rid of him now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wait and see what we do in the transfer market before shipping anyone out on loan, or at least have a clause that we can recall him if needed.

Agree0 Disagree0

After recent shows by edu and mcculloch i would give him a run.

drop one of the to above let davis play centre and let play beside him as rm,

surely cant do any worse than the rest have been doing so far, so i think he deserve a run of 5-6 games to show if he can do any better

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah thats what to do Lets let all the players we have go out on loan, and buy nobody...or i mean no body wants to come here

Agree0 Disagree0

He would be the next charlie adam.
we should defo keep the boy he is class.

Dear ed019 I believe you are ed on duty just now, I refer to post 02.49.47 regarding "offensive" postings on Celtic site ( please give examples) also your other ed025 states "no derogatory remarks or offensive posts will be allowed on Rangers site" I draw your attention to replies under his remarks and all the blaspheming on it. Myself (timalloy) and Miko are celtic fans and we come on this site for some banter we are neither offensive or derogatory yet in response we are subjected to bile and i use the word correctly bile in responses from your readers, perhaps your own Rangers eds could examine their own consciences when allowing these posts on here
you all seem to want blame everyone else but you as editors ALLOW it so must take responsibility too.
I enjoy humourus banter and on celtic site I have a running joke with regulars from this page, we give it we take it but we keep it clean and we keep it FRIENDLY. LOL Timalloy {Ed019's Note - If you read my post I say IF a post is pointless or hateful then it is edited accordingly. It was in response to someone who was complaining about on eof my fellow ed's who runs the celtic page. I have posted several of your posts and I agree that your self and others keep it friendly and lighthearted and come here to have a laugh. Which is a great part of the game. I can assure you that any post considered to be racist, sectarian or hateful is deleted.

Believable7 Unbelievable14

Gees you will never accept responsibility for your own actions will you. it's always someone elses fault, or someone else did something worse. ifi you don't like reading something then use the easy option. stop reading and posting on the champions site and looking for a reaction.

Agree0 Disagree0

SHOCK HORROR - READ ALL ABOUT IT - CELTIC FANS COMPLAINS OF PERSECUTION.

How petty are you, coming on to a Rangers rumours site looking for banter then complain because you dont like what they say. You are the textbook Celtic fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your sole purpose of coming on to the Rangers rumours site is to wind up the opposition fans. Are you not getting bored with this. Personally if I was the ed I would scrub all your posts because they are neither genuine rumours or remotely interesting. Yorkielad

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate who you kidding, uv never looked a at a textbook in ur puff.

Drew

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha i quote "You all seem to want to blame every1 else" coming from a Celtic fan the words pot kettle and black spring to mind lol

Agree0 Disagree0

A personally dont mind them coming on hear nothing better than proving them wrong every time they open their gubbs and let their belly rumble facts and figures confuse them so nobody should complain when they come on here trying to better themselves and gain a football education, , hopefully they can then take our teachings into their legions and educate the masses in the art of facts and figures.

Agree0 Disagree0

Go away back to your own page you are not welcome

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy f*** off stop talkin guff

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been coming on this site for a couple months now and never thought o checking out Celtic pages, , , why do you feel the need to be on the champions pages? You must be well annoyed and bitter listening to Rangers banter and rumors for the last 3 glorious years we've been Champions.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy you echo the behaviour of the higher archy at your silly club. worry about your own affairs if you dont like playing with the big boys go back to your own site with the wee bhoys

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe Timalloy's post was in response to a Rangers fan complaining about persecution on the Celtic site so will you be having a go at that poor wee sensitive soul too?

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy, your name say's it all. Why don't you go back to the runners-up page. We are all fed up listening to dumb CELTIC supporters blaming other people. This site is for CHAMPIONS.

Agree0 Disagree0

See if u mean tony he is never on here so jog on not1 offensive comment has been bad u ave just got sh*t patter that is all

T-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a celtic fan but i can not defend timalloy. i agree with t-bear his patter is rotten and has way too much of it. {Ed047's Note - He knows his patter is rotten. I'll need to ask the Celtic Ed but I'm sure he'll be relieved that he spends his time on this page and not theirs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy has a right to complain if he isn't happy, just as we are if we see something we don't like in the Celtic pages (which is how this post started in the first place). Nothing stopping you lot reporting offensive comments, sectarianism or whatever, if and when you see it and before you fire back with 'go to your own pages Timmy, I'm defo a Rangers fan

Agree0 Disagree0

We are not that lucky ed timalloy is never off the celtic pages as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy and your mate go back to your own site your not welcome here

Agree0 Disagree0

Honest tae god why are you still letting this **** post on this site hes not a rangers fan so stop posting his ******comments sick of his pish {Ed047's Note - because he is free to do so, so long as they're within the rules. You will find that if you do likewise on the Celtic site your comments will be posted. If, however, you post like this again (not just telling me how to do my job, but being abusive) I will ban you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Runner Up Page.... LOL

If Glasgow Rangers ever beat their greatest rival 7-1
in a major cup tie they will be SECOND Scottish team to do so.
If they ever reach 4 European cup semi finals they will be SECOND scottish team to do so
If they ever win every competition they enter in one season they will be the SECOND Scottish team to do so
If they ever reach 2 European cup finals they will be SECOND Scottish team to do so
If they ever reach European Cup final with 11 home grown players they will be SECOND Scottish team to do so
If they ever WIN European Cup they will be SECOND Scottish team to do so

It must be a great feeling to know Rangers will always be SECOND to the great GLASGOW CELTIC

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed047's Note - because he is free to do so, so long as they're within the rules.} Hi Ed, i used to be an Ed on this site and because i posted just about every post that came through, I missed some "offensive". But as i have stated before - i have inside sources at Ibrox **THEY KNOW VERY VERY LITTLE ABOUT TRANSFERS** but when i do have news about on-goings at the club, my post NEVER arrives on the page but yet ridiculous posts like these get posted.. makes alot of sense when i can help out with ALOT of rumours on this site

Believable4 Unbelievable25

OOOOPS SORRY ED

Agree0 Disagree0

Whittaker is simply not good enough to play for rangers he has lost us far too many important games and I think it's about time Ally realised this and brought in a half decent right back

Agree0 Disagree0

You are a f***ing joke OP.

No Captain in Davis as already mentioned.

Bougherra is leaving.

Murphy ? Dont make me laugh.

Hargreaves/Verhoek wont happen either.

Turn caps off aswell ya diddy.

Agree0 Disagree0

You wouldnt have davis ??

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah eds right. No Davis? and also is there no desire to be able to defend an opposition attack we could possibly play like this against ehhh a non league side? I for 1 would love to see rangers with a squad of players that would go onto a pitch and have a go at teams with attack after attack but its not going to happen we need a solid spine with possible 1 or 2 attack minded wingers and then our strikers. Also from tht bougy has to go he has no interest in our club and his heads in the clouds he either has to go as soon as possible and get the money for him or sign a new contract and commit his future to our beloved club.

Leicester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has called off his pursuit of former England midfielder Owen Hargeaves.

The injury-plagued 30-year-old was released by Manchester United in May and Eriksson was keen to sign him.

But Eriksson told BBC Radio Leicester: "It will not happen now. If it was going to happen it would have already been done but now it is too late.

"I can't reach him. I have only spoken to his agent and he has not come back to me, which is a little bit strange."

Hargreaves has made 42 appearances for England but played just 39 games for Manchester United in almost four years at Old Trafford.

The Canada-born midfielder recently used YouTube to post daily fitness videos and has been linked with a possible move to Scottish champions Rangers, newly promoted QPR, West Brom and various MLS sides.

Believable5 Unbelievable14

Can't see us getting Hargreaves and don't want him. He's made out of glass

Champions League Qualifying for Next Season.

Do the SPL winners at the end of this season go directly into the Champions League group stage for 2012/2013? I think this is the case but haven't seen it confirmed anywhere. {Ed019's Note - have confered with a fellow ed and yip, pretty sure that is what will happen.

Believable5 Unbelievable5

SPL Winners this season definitely go straight into champions league next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry bears after searching for over an hour have discovered that spl champions come in at final round champions path and the runners up come in at 3rd round non champions path

Agree0 Disagree0

So only one round for RANGERS to oercome

Agree0 Disagree0

No, winners enter at the same round as runners up, although the winners will have an easier route and not have to face the likes of Man city etc

Andrew Driver is possibly moving to Rangers if he can prove his fitness. If he stays healthy to January he'll be signing.

Heard this from a Jambo season ticket holder.

Believable8 Unbelievable19

I heard from a Celtic season ticket holder that they will win the league... Still can't see that happening though...

Agree0 Disagree0

I presume these Hearts season ticket holders are in the Hearts boardroom discussing with Romanov possible sales

Agree0 Disagree0

Well their bound to know more about their club and players than we are aren't they?

The same boy told me Wallace was leaving for the Gers before the news was broken in the media.

Rangers are keeping an eye on Johnny Russell from Dundee Utd as well as Paul Hanlon from Hibs.

Source: ex-team mate of a Rangers player

Believable5 Unbelievable19

Johnny russell is rhabid no chance

Agree0 Disagree0

I live in dundee (ed u can see that as part of my email address) so have a lot of DUFC supporting friends,

i have heard them raving on about johnny russell for the last year, he is meant to be there natural replacement to goodwillie, he is younger with just as much talent and is a very similiar player, with no baggage awell, .

he would be a good player for us, but i would expect stevey boy to be looking for a fee in the area of 1.5 to 2million especially if it was rangers he was selling to, {Ed019's Note - yeah, i think johnny russel is a great wee player. dont think it will happen though.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know jonny russel , stays in Coatbridge and his younger brother goes to the the local school , he's a tommy but a cracking player

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye he's a very good player - just heard about it and thought I'd share it. Hanlon from Hibs is a good wee player too.

Agree0 Disagree0

We won't go near Dundee Utd again after the way they treated us over Goodwillie. Trust me. They'll get their comeupance some way over this you can count on it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we deal with DU after this fiasco, continually changing the goal posts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wtf ... boys and girls i'm totally fed up with all this p@sh about dundee utd ... forget david goodwillie and stephen thompson ... utd wanted 2 million upfront for goodie so get your heads round it ... it's in the past anyway we should have been looking to get johnny ressell on our pay-roll the airport bear

Dont think we'll be going back for niguez - just signed for almeria

I always liked niguez, thought he was a decent lookin player, was maybe a little light for the spl but id happily have him back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hargreaves, absolute lies.

Agree0 Disagree0

James beattie anywhere i'll personally pick him up and take him as far away as possible

Agree0 Disagree0

THAT WOULD MEAN IF HE PLAYED 40 GAMES THIS SEASON HE WOULD ONLY MAKE 100.000 GRAND ..DONT THINK THAT WOULD DO HIM SOMEHOW, , VERHOEK WILL NOT SIGN AS TO MANY CLUBS WANT HIM NOW ..TIME TO MOVE ON JM FROM MOTHERWELL IS A MUST , , LETS STEP UP A GEAR AND FOR GOD SAKE BEARS GET BEHIND ALLY REMEMBER 4 GAMES ONLY 1 LOSE , ,

POOL are being linked with a Rangers wonderkid labelled one of the game s rising stars.

The Seasiders are understood to have made an enquiry about attacking midfielder John Fleck, who made his first-team debut for the Glasgow giants at the age of 15, four years ago.

Fleck has made 37 appearances since. He is a big part of Rangers long-term plans and signed a new three-year contract last year.

But Pool are hoping to land the teenager on a loan deal and have made contact with Ibrox.

This is pathetic, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

If you think these are the teams Rangers will be getting drawn against on Friday, you are severely wrong.

Have a nice day, you fa**ies cant even get this stuff right on here nevermind a Transfer rumour. {Ed019's Note - I never said that. If you read the post, I say we will be drawn against an un-seeded team on friday. The teams I actually listed were the teams in rangers and celtics pot. Those are the teams that we could be drawn against in the latter stages, obviously depending on results. I clearly state above the teams listed 'IF WE GO THROUGH (meaning playoffs) we will be put into the group stages. the teams currently in our pot include'. There were far too many un-seeded teams to list, most of which people wont have heard of so I classed them all simply as 'un-seeded'. Would you like me to make further comments simpler for you? When do EPL teams have to announce their 25-man squads for the season? {Ed019's Note - Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players, at the end of each transfer window. Changes can be made only during transfer windows, although in exceptional circumstances (eg goalkeeping injury crisis) moves could be allowed. First deadline is 1700 BST on 1 September (24 hours after end of August transfer window).

Believable6 Unbelievable2

That date can't b right as the new season kicks off next week so surely they need to be registered before then

Willie {Ed019's Note - thats according to the bbc willie mate. i think it is correct, because the transfer window doesnt end until 1st september. if it wasnt 1st september and you signed a player at the end of august he would be useless for a year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed but how are players not in the 25 men squad supposed to find new clubs if transfer window is closed? {Ed019's Note - the deadline for english clubs to name squads is DEFINETALY the 1st of September. I am not sure why the English FA have made it so.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lies End of story.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jhog on, this is a lot of pish and you know it. stop spilling your dwindling DNA timmy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think we should all be shouting for Ally's head remember we had 9 men who all played their hearts out only two deserve the blame Whittaker and Bougera yet again who let us down in Europe cant keep going on expect Bougera to be off today and Whittaker away as soon as possible does not deserve to wear the jersey. Remember who is doing the actual bidding for players not Ally but tight McScrooge.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, of course they are Automatic Champions League place for this years league winners which make this title even more crucial We're not gonna sell our 2 best players

Agree0 Disagree0

Read what u have written here & the take a long hard look at where ur life is going. Do u not think it's time u stopped typing such pish & tried to get urself a girlfriend. Now off u trot

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Timothy away back to the dark side
Ya zoomer

Agree0 Disagree0

This will never happen, new players will come in very soon, Mr whyte will strengthen the squad to win the title so we go straight I to champions league next year, players will come this year as playing in the Europa league is still a grand stage

Agree0 Disagree0

In the end Sir David Murray just wanted out, he did try his best to get a new owner who had the club at heart but whyte was the only realistic bid and i've said from the start he's not to be trusted.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that 15 million each?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nae chance lad- away and concentrate on your own team ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Way back to your pit timmy

Agree0 Disagree0

Away you go ya bampot. go play tig with the buses

Agree0 Disagree0

Where are these Eremenko rumours coming from? Would like to see him but not sure. If we dont make dome signings soon im going to b one fearful bear about our prospects this year.

Believable13 Unbelievable10

Don t know who dreams up some of the posts throughout the cyber chat rooms, however I travelled home yesterday thinking well, its been quite all day on the Goodwillie front, then bang Goodwillie signed for Rangers. Come on boys, its getting extremely embarrassing to say the least, lets hope Dr White and his bandacodies get there act together, Walters been away for a while now, why are we now struggling to sign people of any quality, we should have been out of the traps months ago, what a shambles. In Ally we trust, just a shame about the rest

Agree0 Disagree0

What are the ernamenko rumours that you posted

Believable29 Unbelievable23

Hope so mate , he's what we need in midfield , someone alongside Davis whocan make a pass

Agree0 Disagree0

Ca see it. cos that wud cost MONEY.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fedor?? hes a cage fighter

Agree0 Disagree0

Why hes no better than what we have? bullshi**er

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so. better than murray davidson any day.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wasn't keen on signing Eremenko but I think someone like him who isn't afraid of the ball could be worth signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true why wasn't he brought in sooner? Like before the CL qualifier. I'm fed up with our feet dragging in the transfer market, it's getting embarassing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny cos its on his facebook page that he is on holiday in Turkey.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dosent anyone feel tom cleverly would be a great signing

It appears Fulham have not put in a bid for Wesley Verhoek. Martin Jol has stated rumous suggested Fulham have bid for him are wide of the mark. See News Now Fulham for source. Gers still in the hunt. Lets hope they put a proper bid in once and for all and stop messing about.

Believable17 Unbelievable10

He is worth 2.5m we will put a bid in for 400k over 6 year it is embarrassing how we are doing our transfers now ..so lets not do no more bidding and my mates can not take the piss when i go in work , ..well they will for the next few days over malmo game...

Agree0 Disagree0

It was reported we bid 1.6mill and they want 2.6mill for a player in his last year of the contract. I'd say bid 2mill for him and see if they accept.

I'd also offer 3mill for juhasz. Give the fans some positives to look forward too

Agree0 Disagree0

Champions leauge would have been the draw for these players....wont come now unless serious money paid

Agree0 Disagree0

All this Faffing about has came back to bite them on the bum
