Always thought that Ohalloran or Dodoo would have been good enough for Hearts to at least take a chance on?
Still think Dodoo should be loaned out, and I'm sure that there must be Teams interested and a loan job would be far more appealing as he has still to show and prove that he can do a job.
Wags tho really has had his chance and hasn't been able to make the step up ftom the Championship!
I am surprised Sunderland are thinking about taking him but talk of 1m seems way off the mark and think 500k will be bid.

I seen Daly is not happy with Walkers agent as his heads been turned. But Hearts set a price for him at the beginning meaning they are willing to sell lol. talk about shooting yourself in the foot! Maybe if they had came out publicly and said not for sale then all this attention wouldn't be so focused on him :-) :-) :-)

Tbh. I think Rangers are being quite smart with the Walker situation. The longer it goes on, the sooner Hearts are to losing him for nothing and may be forced to take a cut price

Do we think that after all the stuff that's came out of Tyncastle about Walker being dropped for the Cup game and now the Season opener that Hearts will actually think that having the Player for another 6/ 12 months will benefit the Club more than taking the 650k.
There not even playing him and we could either walk away leaving them with a seriously peeved Player OR we could lower the bid and include a Player for loan.
Hearts are putting themselves in a dangerous position.

Stating "not for sale" would have made the player dig in and leave on a free. They want him on a new contract or 1m for him. He'll sign. now or in Jan on a pre. can't see anything else as a conclusion but then i thought that about turncoat Allan too.

Really cannot see Hearts passing up 650k. Think that they will want to bring someone in also to replace Walker so even tho this deal may go on a bit Hearts will still want and need a bit of time to secure a replacement. It would be ideal if Dodoo or even Forrester! Went the other way, never say never tho eh.

Don't think he can sign a pre contract till a month before his contract ends. Also believe hearts are due a development fee somewhere in the region of 350k-400k as his contract expires before he's 24

Been hearing this a lot regarding a compensation fee for Walker and I wish that someone would find out 100% if thisIis true or not and report it. Its something that's been talked about since, day one and you wwould have thought a fud fae the media or a sports reporter would have picked up on it and informed us of the ins and outs of this deal as it does add a different dimension to why Hearts are holding back aa if we are offering 650k then all Hearts are losing out on is 250k still a lot but again it would be nice to know exactly what the deal is.

Spark74. That rule only applies for players in England wanting to sign a pre contract to another English team. Up here its fron 6 months before the end of the contract.

If Dodo and MOH aren't good enough for us, what makes anyone think Hearts would have them. See a lot of nonsense written here about how Hearts are greedy holding out for £1m. They're quite right. He's their player. They've developed him and paid his wages, since he was a kid. why should they sell him to us on the cheap. let's just pay the million. he's a terrific player and now with waggys fee in the bank, we should just do this.

You could be right, but unless they both are football minded and want to play regularly and money isn't an issue I can see them staying put and claiming wages for doing nothing. i hope I'm wrong tho and they do move on

Think the Dodoo slant is a bit harsh.
Nobody knows how good he is playing through the middle.
Every goal scored, he has controlled the ball brilliantly. The one he had in the back of the net which was ruled offside was a peach also!
Think it's too early to judge Joe.

Forresters fitness must be questioned now! Does anyone know if he has been training at Auchinhove recently?
Would a team like Southend take him if his fitness is poor?
Imo if and when he does go there is a huge chance that we will not receive a fee as anything that a Southend would pay us would end up going towards paying the fud off!
I think that even if it means us taking a hit financially we need to get this guy away from Ibrox as I think all he brings is negativity. Whether he's about 1st team or the Unders, I think he would disrupt and try to undermine the whole system!
At least with Kiernan although he wasn't good enough I do think he tried to get back into the Team. We prob did have to pay him something but who knows what Southend payed. I reckon 100k.

Jo Dodoo is the best natural striker and finisher at Ibrox. Shame on Pedro for not having the humility, self awareness and judgement to sort this situation out.

And you're in a better position to judge that than the manager FD? Boy has had flashes of good play but generally looks disinterested. Personally I'll let Caixhina be the judge of if he's good enough or not.

Dodoo will come good i think. he's young and Rangers is a huge step up from Leicester reserves. Needs to play through the middle. he's not a winger or IF.
