celtic back in europa league they get 5mil for nothing and we are nearly going bust

Believable16 Unbelievable12

With Mr Whyte in charge we will never go bust as bbc reports that a 7 figure amount in our bank account has been ring fenced while we are free to use the rest thats covered in cobwebs. Had me worried that there was no money to pay tax bill but now it looks like Mr Whyte just hates parting with money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed what was wrong with my earlier post? get the bears together

Agree0 Disagree0

Absoloute rubbish, scottish teams are lucky to make 5 million if they go all the way to the final, good luck to them, way i see it is its a distraction for an already poor squad,WATP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Season book money in 31/8/11 hmrc ring fence £4.2m of that money now only have £4m appox to get through the year lets get our heads out the sand and smell the coffee we in big trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

Already poor squad? Check your own Team picture and see who has the poor squad ya heedthebaw. LL67

Agree0 Disagree0

Seltic are a poor operation. Fair enough they are our footballing rivals but surely they realise that we must work together in a business sense in order to try to move scottish football forward? how is it then that i have heard on good authority that it was the seltic board whom attempted to notify UEFA of a certain American international being perhaps ineligible to play (and they must have known, as most fans knew, he was eligible to play for us, but due to stricter border agency policy, couldn't play in Britain). What a depressingly petty club they are and one of the key reasons as to my support for rangers - who i'll admit aren't the most classy outfit yet run admirably in the face of this HMRC controversy which Whyte is clearly confident we'll beat. Muzz

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant even type the word celtic you classy devil you.dont make up lies its not classy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldint want type that horrible word

Watching England and the Bulgarian Popov looks like a quality player

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Watching N.Ireland, Healy is having a blinder, why is he not getting a shout for us ? He has been superb tonight !

Agree0 Disagree0

A blinder!has he scored?

Agree0 Disagree0

Healy is past it and ffor popov are you mental amazing how when a player plays good automatically rangers should go for him the standard of players that will sign are the ones signed thats the standard get used to it fact...no point beating round the bush

Agree0 Disagree0

Healy is a great player. Just very short on match fitness !

has the english named thare 25 man squad yet and if so can we sign anyone

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Transfer window is closed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Transfer window CLOSED

Agree0 Disagree0

No of course not. dont people read papers watch ssn or the news or have common sense?

Agree0 Disagree0

Transfer window is shut wot part of that do u no get

Agree0 Disagree0

I meant can we loan {Ed003's Note - the loan window opens next week)

Agree0 Disagree0

The only players we can sign once the transfer window has CLOSED are the out of contract ones.

Agree0 Disagree0

Transfer window is closed but there's a loan window open for players that didn't make the 25, do you's not read papers eg etc etc !

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy was just asking give him a break maby he doesn't read a paper but the guy was only asking f*** sake people on this can be very ignorant

Agree0 Disagree0

Thought the loan window was only for Football League clubs in England.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanx for that mate what i meant was can we loan english players that are not in the 25 man squad.see instead of trying to slate fellow bears go to ceptic page and slate them or write a letter to mr white and take ure frustration out on him.

WHO THINKS MR WHYTE IS FULL OF BULLS**T. AND WE HAVE WENT BACKWARDS REGARDING THE QUALITY OF PLAYERS.

Believable38 Unbelievable20

Think you're full of bullsh*t pal, get a grip ffs.... or go back to your own page

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant really say that considering bougherra is the only star that left.

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as I can see we have the same team since last season and added a few. Also the players that have came in are better than the players that have left, I.e. Goian for Bougie. So chill out ffs.
Europe was a disaster, but we are top of the leauge and are still better the that other lot.
The days of h
Hatley, Gazza, Albertz, Laudrup, Van Bronkhurst and the like are long gone. You can't blame whyte for that.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't, I think the whole spl has went backwards. Money is everything in football and Scotland has none. Judge the signings once you've seen the. They might just be cheap cause they haven't been bought from epl teams and were on short contracts. Miller went for peanuts but if he was a couple year younger and on s five year contract we could o got millions. I hope It's shrewd signings.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can we have backwards with the quality of players when we still have the same squad as last year except boogie and Beattie? We have added 7 players. Give it a rest we can't change anything. Start supporting the team instead of being on their back.
Followfollow81

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to laugh, us Rangers fans answering Celtic fans posts, YES we are disapointed about the lack of signings but Celtic have a thin squad also, just look when they were without 4 players against St Johnston, Gubbed, two teams are nearer than everyone thinks, great to see the likes of Perry and the young ones starting to get a game.
Sad that young Hutton is going out on loan for a year, Fleck has let himself down by not pushing for a place, the only hope is that once Little, Hutto and Fleck play week in and out then we will see if they can cut it, Wizard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers will have a new owner in a week herd this from the horses mouth.now all i need to do is win the euro millions and if i do watch out septic i will be coming for u

Agree0 Disagree0

Going backwards ? we still have all the players that won the title bar bougherra and goian and bocanegra more than make up for him!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree, whyte never coughed up money tht was promised and ally has no brains in management and transfers our season was over when we were knocked out of europe! spl = depressing

Agree0 Disagree0

If whyte didnt take over who would of been in charge ? the bank . wise up son

Celtic reinstated to Europa Cup.

Believable17 Unbelievable9

This is a good thing. Celtic have been awarded a 3 - 0 win in both games against Sion, and as a result it increases Scotland's number of coefficient points.

Agree0 Disagree0

They will be put out

Agree0 Disagree0

Good for scottish football, regardless of who it is and how they got there.

Agree0 Disagree0

More injuries more tiredness more pumpings and no hope in hell

Agree0 Disagree0

The tellys pish on a thursday anyway,so we'll get a good laugh if nothing else

Agree0 Disagree0

THE more games they have to play must help us in the long run

Agree0 Disagree0

I only wish it had have been Rangers, but it's the right decision, the other team broke the rules not Celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

4 In A Row guarenteed and easy money at the bookies... mon the Athletico!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Great news! They will be pumped 6 times, I'll get to watch it and Rangers will win the league coz they'll be knackerd... happy days

Agree0 Disagree0

The experienced gained in Europe by Celtic will make them a better team and stronger in the SPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wonder when they will start asking for games to be moved! Lets see how they cope as we have for the past couple of years fighting on all four fronts and still winning the league
dodgy game couple days before first OF game of the year

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol these comments are funny like we will get pumped good 1 how about celtic get 5 mil and rangers get there assets frozen for being s**te bags and you wonder why they didnt buy in the transfer its cause they couldnt they were skint as usual

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol what are these comments like celtic wont get pumped more like they will no team in that group will beat us at home and who is getting 5mil for basically nothing think you will find celtic who will win the league this year celtic by about 20 points i can see hearts coming 2nd thats how s**te rangers are

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you not remember that over the past 2-3 years you have neglected to represent Scotland in ANY European competition after Christmas? You have been reinstated in the cup by default and the majority of Rangers fans here have supported that, however, all you can do is boast about the incredible luck you have accrued and instead attack the fans of the team that have strung you along for the past few years. Get a grip on reality and just be happy that you've got through and will be doing a service for Scottish football you ignorant spastics.

Partick Thistle could make a bold move to sign Rangers midfielders Kyle Hutton and John Fleck on loan – if their move to Sheffield United cannot be revived.

The Ibrox youngsters were told by boss Ally McCoist that they were free to leave the club on a temporary basis in search of first-team football.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

..Think they already are on loan to Sheffield Utd...

Agree0 Disagree0

What would be bold about it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Read somewhere they now only be loaned to a Scottish team after the deal fell through

Who dyou rather see at rangers this season?
Agree/believable diouf. Disagree/unbelievable McFadden.

Believable34 Unbelievable16

I ll take diouf more likely to come to Rangers than Mcfadden he'll sign for a EPL team he won't come to the SPL

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take faddy

Agree0 Disagree0

Whit dae ye put for neither?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wot do you click for none of them ??

Agree0 Disagree0

A wud take paddy mccourt over diouf. embarrestment last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Will not be getting either as we have no money, when will people wake up and smell the coffee

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt take either of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take mcfadden cos diouf is piss

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take diouf, still think the boy has someting to offer the game if he can focus on the game! at worst he could be very much an impact sub, at best give the team a little spark that we are missing. If we could get him for little money and a short term contract i would give him a chance and also ask Mr W to rumage down the back of the sofa and see if he could find some cash for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Diouf because he hates celtic and will give his all, maybe not the greatest player in the world but good enough for the spl

Agree0 Disagree0

Neither... unless they'd play for free.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't take faddyy he's am right tim watp

Just watching SSN there and heard the Turkish transfer window doesn't shut until midnight on Monday. What's the odds on a Turkish team offering funny money for Jelavic? Hope not but stranger things have happened! Or maybe we'll get some good news and Bursaspor will come back in for Whittaker!

Believable15 Unbelievable14

They can have him, hes been poor since he signed new contract!

Agree0 Disagree0

Was he not poor before then?

Agree0 Disagree0

The boy should hav went hes neva gona live up to the 20k+ that hes on. Also when we try to sign someone they will be wantin his kinda wages if not more cos he aint worth that.

Agree0 Disagree0

2 bids from turkey expected for jelevic over the weekend as their transfer window doesnt finish till monday

Believable14 Unbelievable17

Rite wot uve done there is just use the fact that their window is still open to make up a rumour about Jelavic. Shut up and go away.

Agree0 Disagree0

Expected by who? Jack A. Nory?

Agree0 Disagree0

Turkey for a turkey,,we should have cashed in on him ,,he`s a one season wonder

Agree0 Disagree0

The only Turkey here is you ya clown. Why would he go to Turkey when the English clubs are sniffing? He's said a hundred times he wants to go to the EPL

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? Is Gordon Smith there on Holiday?

Agree0 Disagree0

Galatasary are after Carlton Cole of West ham, so that probably rules them out of a bid.

Luca Gasparotto turns 16 tomorrow and will be nowhere near the first team. He will train and play with the U17s which is why nobody has heard of him. I take it the twins we signed are not expected to get near the first team either. I read a post saying we should go for youngsters and bring them through the ranks, with reference to Mohammed the wee 7rd old. Now we have done exactly that and people are saying "Who the f is he?". Talk about impossible to please!

G

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Some people will never be happy unless we go out and sign players out of our price range and get ourselves nicelyback into debt!

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck to the lad, he obviously has something about him if he's been over training with AC Milan. Seems a sensible, well spoken young lad too, here's hoping he does well, WATP Luca

And i'd also like to wish Aaron McGregor all the best too, if he's anywhere near as good as our other McGregor he won't do too badly.

All the young lads deserve a chance, so work hard and believe in yourself who knows where you'll end up, ask one Mr C Adam.............

Craig whytes net outlay was £2m in the transfer window but the club has re-signed mcgregor, whittaker, davis, wylde and signed 7 new players - source metro newspaper

Believable7 Unbelievable8

It also said that the £2m didn't include the money recouped from Charlie Adam's transfer taking it to more like a net figure of £1.1mil

Peter Lawwell... what an idiot.

"We have had a lot of interest and we've not encouraged that interest," Lawwell said of striker Gary Hooper.

"Last night, we got a £29m offer for Hooper, from an unknown agent, from an unknown club, from another universe."

Bet he feels foolish if he reads the papers this morning.

The Sun reports: 'LIVERPOOL failed in a shock deadline day swoop for Nikica Jelavic. SunSport can reveal Anfield boss Kenny Dalglish moved to land the Ibrox ace yesterday afternoon.

'Rangers dismissed the offer and insisted the hitman was going NOWHERE. King Kenny was looking for attacking options after losing David Ngog, Raul Meireles and Joe Cole.

Believable8 Unbelievable17

Yes second is the new winning, Europa league new champions league, they'll be saying they have had more second places than us next.....oops they have!

Agree0 Disagree0

For every fiver they spend , we will spend a tenner ! Remember that saying folks . That really was a man with a plan . Spend the cash and let someone else pick up the tax bill and overdraft . Classy

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said mate...lawell get it right up ya!!

Agree0 Disagree0

This was funny to be fair, if liverpool had game in for jelly he would be off.

Agree0 Disagree0

It`s just the celtic way...... no dignity.
Lawwwwwwells actions explain alot really.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did Kenny actually say he came in for him?And why is the board telling the fans the agent and team are unknown,if the Sun can find this out surely the board can, maybe to rectify the situation they should come out and say YES it was Liverpool but cant see it happening, then and only then will Peter Lawell look foolish, all Kenny is talking about in todays papers and thats all of them is how the Scottish game is getting better, you think the Sun reporter or one of them might have asked him did you put in an offer for Jelavic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Even andy goram is saying it was a smokescreen mate, there's no way the club or the player would have said no to that kind of move for that kind of money,
why we released a story like that i'll never know, whyte has no idea how to run a club, if he did all our public knockbacks would have been done in private

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont make me laugh! they signed Bellamy, and then only as an impact player. those who left were surplus to requirements, except for Raul Meireles but he is midfield of course. since when did the sun get such stories right? except for today when they quote none other than Andy Goram telling us all that this £9m bid was fantasy!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lawell's probably still smarting that they brought in a load of players over the last few seasons and lost the league to a team with a first team squad of about 14. He might want to visit that "other universe" at the end of this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Does it really matter... He is still here, hoping for 4 on a row.. and then a poss shot at champions league.. get it up ya Celtic, glad t see diawara missed out and super Sam ass is still in yer squad lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Im quite sceptical about the 9m bid but what strikes me as strange is that we win 3 in a row and are sittin top with fairly good record and alot of our own fans are callin for manager yet on the other side o the city they are hero worshipped without winning

Agree0 Disagree0

Lawell knows all about made up £9million bids. He told everyone wee Aidan went to Moscow for £9 million but Spartak and the Russian press all said it was really 5.5 million.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the last post dont talk pish,as Lawell said Celtic only deal in facts,Spartak put a bid in for him and they sold him to Spartak, not an unknown agent from an unnamed team just the facts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi guys i am a celtic minded man if we were offered 29 million for hooper from an unknown club from another universe why the hell did we not take it bad management we could have bought 2 or 3 players with that type of money

Agree0 Disagree0

Liewell is losing the plot with those embarrassing comments.
The mighty Glasgow Rangers must really be getting under his skin, so don't be angry with him fellow bears, instead take great pleasure from the fact that h has made a fool of himself with these undignified comments.
Liewell is right about the universe thing though, as we were out of this world in last seasons run in to win the league again.

BRIGHTON HOVE ALBION are signing Vicente (still only 30) from Valencia. How. On. Earth. Would have done a job for us! Anyway, nae dangers lads, our squad is strong enough! Mackay and Bedoya will shine and prove both you lot and Celtic fans wrong!

Believable13 Unbelievable12

He has had lots and lots of injury problems over the last few years. It is a gamble taking him on

Agree0 Disagree0

He's had a lot of injuries? We should have signed him then. Sounds perfect for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

We would have offerd 200 quid a week prob

Agree0 Disagree0

Ye havin a laff brighton could buy and sell rangers, probably got more money than every scottish team in every division.

Luca Gasparotto has agreed a three-year deal with Glasgow Rangers

Believable10 Unbelievable16

Does a 16 year old really count as a signing???

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's that, is it true?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is pure neil lemmon im away to sleep as all this gets so boring.bye

Agree0 Disagree0

Marquee indeed. Cheers Whytey and Coisty x

Agree0 Disagree0

I know where the first reply is coming from... but i really feel this counts as we need to start getting youth in from abroad. There is talent in scotland no doubt but we need to bolster that with foreign talent - other clubs do it often, so why don't we? Muzz

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember Rino Gattuso he was a nobody and look where he ended up if this is true give the lad a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree give the youth a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

This tactic has worked well financially for arsenal. got loads of young players chea and sold them on for profit. ok we wont get a fabregas but we could get some youngsters and get a few quid. we could use that money to get in the players we need
