Rangers after humberto suazo
Believable6
Unbelievable23
Have you seen this guys goal to game ratio its incredible
Agree0
Disagree0
He is a quality striker hope it's true
Agree0
Disagree0
It ould be a gamble going for a player from S America, you don't know how he'll settle, prob out of our price range anyway
Agree0
Disagree0
Honestly, we have no chance of signing this guy he is one of the most prolific goalscorers in south america, so there will be bigger and richer clubs than us looking at him.
Agree0
Disagree0
Suazo is higly unlikely to come to UK let alone scotland. Really small guy who plays in a attack minded league where its almost a non contact sport. Highly doubt he'd hack it in the SPL. I rate him but think he's more suited to a less physical league in Europe if he was to leave Monterry.
Agree0
Disagree0
Considering monterrey rate him at US$25million and we wont splash £2mill for goodwillie i dont think it will be happening
Agree0
Disagree0
Rangers want rudi skavel on a free as it looks like he wont get a new contract and are looking for tiote for 4mil

Humbertos sell out clause is 10m euros Thats a fact ....ASWEDE

Rangers goodwillie interest cools

BBC are anti rangers Don't listen to them
{Ed010's Note -I read the article on the BBC website and is flawed in it's wording. I quote a paragraph from that article..."Cardiff City are favourites to land Scotland's young player of the year and appear willing to meet the £2m asking price set by chairman Stephen Thompson".
This seems quite clear and unequivocal, except it isn't as clear cut as it may first seem.
Let me now quote an article from a Welsh newspaper, "A down-payment of £1m in cash is the key, plus instalments to make up the rest of the million related to appearances and international caps".
That article puts a completely different slant on this whole transfer episode. Cardiff, like Rangers, are not offering £2m in cash. Cardiff are only prepared to pay £1m up front and the rest as "add ons", whereas Rangers bids were possibly cash only.
I would suggest that this information suggests that Craig Whyte isn't as naive as some are suggesting but prudent with his cash. Any views ?

Agree0

Good spot there, Ed. Reckon (hope) its a tactic White is using, as he has heard Goodwillie is keen to join us and seeks to fuel speculation of him handing in a transfer request. I reckon with a bit of pressure, Dundee might buckle and reduce their demands
Agree0
Disagree0
Yet again we need to say, David Goodwillie will decide where David Goodwillie is going to be playing next season. If a certain paranoid scottish team offered £5M and 30G a week, would he go? Dont think so. Need to wait for the court case I think

Good... He is not worth it

Rangers interested in grant hanley
Believable11
Unbelievable25
Who the heck is grant hanley?
{Ed010's Note -Scottish defender on the books of Blackburn Rovers. He is 19 and has played for the U19's, U21's and won his first full cap during the recent Nations Cup. He is yet another footballer who was released by Rangers during his youth.
Agree0
Disagree0
Surprise surprise
{Ed010's Note -General question : does anyone think that there was/is something wrong with our youth setup. Personally, I find it quite amazing how many players that we have released over the years, only to be linked to us years later.
Agree0
Disagree0
Good player doubt it though kinda got a run in the 1st end of season and with sell of ones ad possibly givet & samba
Agree0
Disagree0
Hanley is a local dumfries boy and is a staunch rangers supporter used to go to games on one off the local supporters bus
Agree0
Disagree0
NO chance will be first choice at blackburn now jones is gone and with sambas imminent departure

Santa cruz is at the copa america so somehow i doubt this will happen
Agree0

Been alot of talk of Santa Cruz coming to Rangers. I doubt it, but would be a great signing
Agree0
Disagree0
Man city will loan bellamy given swp cruz etc only of fail to sell same as man u with brown and evans etc so u never know
Agree0
Disagree0
Absolutely no chance of this happening. For a start he is at the Copa America just now, not to mention his wages are huge (70k+), which we won't be able to come close to, and even if we could we wouldn't risk that much on a player who has struggled with injury the past 2 seasons.
People need to be realistic here, I don't understand why the Ed's approve half these posts as they're clearly rubbish.
{Ed010's Note -my friend, the website was created in part, for football fans to contribute rumours, that they may have heard or read. I do concede that some of the subjects, of some of the contributions, may seem unrealistic to some. The point is that these contributions do create debate and banter, something that you have done with this reply.
While it is an impossibility for me to check the wage structure, contract details or transfer values, of each and every player mentioned, I will delete posts that are beyond the realms of possibility, or as you say, "unrealistic", if I have enough knowledge myself, to absolutely confirm it as such.
In any event, the website was created to allow football fans to contribute rumours, opinions and views and then for people like you and I to respond to those items, with our own opinions and views.
One of the best messages that I ever received, was a message of support but where the author stated, that he/she would invite their mates round, have a few beers and then have a laugh as they read through all the published contributions. This light hearted approach, totally encapsulates the idea, behind the "Football Rumours and Banter" family.

Will Rangers sell Neil Alaxander and singn Tomas Cerny.I hear that the deal is being worked on.
Believable8
Unbelievable35
Why would we do that? apart from anything Neil Alexander is a good goalie anyway
Agree0

Cerny, s the better keeper
Agree0

Alexander is terrible
Agree0

Agree0
Disagree0

Agree0

Agree0

Heard from a reliable contact mcgregor leaving for 6 million and rangers to continue to battle out negotiations with dundee utd and hearts also heard rangers have offered Bernard lama France keeper a trial haha. Use lot are in big trouble
I don't think ur daddy is a reliable source. Also we are not the team who is up 2 their necks in debt so i think ur "team" r the ones in trouble. Go bk 2 the runners up rumour page u idiot.
Believable9
Unbelievable30
Cant be that much in trouble we've still got the team that won the league for the THIRD time in a row last year, im thinkn the manky mob are worried
Agree0
Disagree0
Bernard Lama's 48 and been re-tired for about 10 years ya clown.Anyway we could still play me in goals next year and make it 4-in-a-row.Why don't you go home to your own site.WATP
Agree0
Disagree0
I dont think we are in a lot of trouble, celtic got beat 1-0 off Central Coast Mariners
Agree0
Disagree0
Omg celtic are in trouble because we lost the first pre season game with half of our strongest team on bench or not in squad- hooper, stokes, izziguire, majstorivic, commons. we played with youngster richie towell and murphy (never a striker) up front.
{Ed010's Note - I agree my friend, losing in warm up matches is no great concern but in my opinion, losing because of bad management is. Why would Neil Lennon not play his strongest available side. On any "tour", it is normal practice for managers to set down a marker for the rest of the tour and they do this by selecting their strongest eleven. It makes absolutely no sense to do what Neil Lennon has done, especially with the season starting in only 3 weeks or was it another case of him not giving the opposition the respect they are due.
Agree0
Disagree0
Well said ma granny cld play in goals n still get 4 in a row celtic r never cheated alwayz DEFEATED watp
Agree0
Disagree0
Celtic dont have a best team they're all p***
Agree0

No it wasnt lennons fault the australian refs are conspiring against celtic.
Agree0

Sad looser, they hope greegsy goes as all there past keepers couldn, t keep weans out a clos
Agree0
Disagree0
There are no negotiations what are you slavering about?
Agree0
Disagree0
Bernard lama got player of the season in ligue 2 lst year and lyon and psg are looking at him a dont think were in trouble
Agree0
Disagree0
Mate we are hardly up to our necks in debt and unlike you our major share holder is actually a billionaire (or very close) unlike mr whyte the conman. wheres your 12million warchest then gers, we have signed 2 bosmans and a 20 year old kenyan for 1 million without anyone leaving so far and still spending. You have a new owner and 4 players (loans) have left you but you still havent managed to sign anyone new lol.
Agree0
Disagree0
Izzaguire kayal hooper etc. will do nothign nextyear and be sold for very little izzaguie cannot defend goood attackin but lafferty made him look amatuer murphy never a striker ? best strker u have haha
Agree0
Disagree0
Why are we in trouble you fool ? we are the champions 3 in a row with nae doe and here we go 4 in a row . worry bout the runners up hahahahahahaha
Agree0
Disagree0
This i believe is nonsense. His missus is up the duff and is wanting to stay near her family at least until the wee barra is a bit older. IF she were not up the duff i recckon he might well have asked for a moveo
Agree0

Please not paranoia already, also these guys talk as if the dark side are the ones who have won 3IAR,
Agree0

Ha HA I laughed like a Hyena when I heard the news, this was after the Neil Diamond gig I attended @ Hampden ( awsome ) Got up read the paper and laughed my arse off, F'CK them, and Lemon and I cannae wait for them to fail fail to qualify for Europe again, their very own 3 in a row hahahahahahahaha WATP
Agree0
Disagree0
Ha ha... I take you're implying Celtic are 'up to their neck in debt'? After we receive the remaining monies from Spartak for the McGeady transfer the debt at Parhead will be around £5m... ie. A manageable debt
Ask the finance director at Wavetower if they hold a debt of circa £18m for one Glasgow Rangers mate
Agree0
Disagree0
Celtic in debt? I'm a shareholder and we are more then healthy in that department, let's just say the commonwealth games have been very good for Celtic fc
Agree0
Disagree0
Well if the commonwealth games have been very good to celtic then they must have also been very good to rangers. it is the commonwealth games policy that the owners of each external venue used in the games are paid equal amounts. this means that rangers will be paid the same for hosting the rugby games at ibrox as celtic are being payed for their part in the games. as for the other mhanky one on here talking about rangers owing wavetower money, wavetower is craig whytes company as is rangers, so in other words, craig whyte owes himself money and therefore it is not really a debt is it?
Agree0
Disagree0
Craig white had to buy the debts before he could buy rangers. the debts were mostly bank loans. rangers will have the best pre tax proffit for many a year making the club an even better asset than mr white purchased. the futures bright the futures white.
