Good to see Green supporting the move to poll the Fans-voting currently underway-as to what division and options for each division do we think our club should be playing in.This after anoucing his backers.Green seems to be the man delivering a little bit more everyday time for the supporters to do the same and start backing our club and manager by buying season tickets.
Believable71
Unbelievable37
And if the fans say div 3 do you really think green will say OK , its div3 or nothing? get a grip man , div 3 and green will run for the hills, it means 3 seasons at least of loosing money then big investment to even challange for the spl !!!!!!!!
Agree0
Disagree0
3rd div or nothing or you will be forever known as the club that was saved by the SFA/SPL and that sporting integrity was compromised over commercialism, and will be tainted by this for decades and anything you win will be tainted
starting off in the 3rd, means more than just building credibility, but also integrity
Agree0
Disagree0
That might be the test for green division 3 see what hes made of
Agree0
Disagree0
If we go to 3rd why would he run ? The wage bill for all the pretend "rangers till a die / kiss the badge ex players" who ran for the hills. Wonder what the savings he has saved by all them leaving am guessing close to 1 mill a month.........
Agree0

If Div 3 is the SFL rules. then the puishment of the SPL to refuse Rangers re-entry was way out of proportion. The consequences of that punishment could mean extinction.
Thats not justice.

Would that be another world record for us if we won 3rd / 2 nd /1st and premier leagues on the trot doug t.s.o

What you got to lose?
He could be your Fergus McCann.
SFL3
Sound business footing
Organic growth.
Fan owned club playing in Europe in 5 years minus sectarian baggage.
he departs with profit for a job well done.
More than yez deserve to be honest!
Agree0

Division 1 means more sanctions against the newco lets be man enough and go to div 3 division 1 would end up in an anti rangers backlash
Agree0
Disagree0
If Rangers go down to Div 3 then their average attendance will be 15,000.
This is about the same as Hearts, Hearts with SPL prize money, sponsorhip, SKY money and smaller overheads LOSE money.
It is commerially impossible for Rangers to survive the 3 years in the wilderness.
Bill Miller was right, it would cost 30 million and no Scottish club is worth 35 million.
Agree0
Disagree0
For gods sake just go to div 3 and you will at least be able to hold your head high. If you go to div 1 then forget it! It will be cast up for the next 100 years. Considering the wrong doing Rangers have done (Fans not at fault for melt down ) just do the right thing for a change and go to div 3. I am a tim and I am sorry to see there will be no more old firm as we know it but FFS can yae not just do the right thing under the circumstances? I feel sorry for gers fans but sneeking in to div 1 is out of order. You do not even have enough players to put out a team with subs so just draw a line under it and learn from experience and start again. If you don't then all respect will be gone forever. If you go to div 1 then anything you win will be tainted but div 3 anything you win will be earned and you can have pride in that! I am not having a go at gers fans but even some tic fans are fed up with the carry on. Have some pride and stop trying to bend rules right left and centre eh.
Agree0

He is not going to invest money for no return, and Rangers need a lot of investment to cover their losses.
The sums just don't add up.
Anorak.
Agree0

Non - Gers fan here ... Div 3 vote is what he wants so that he can go to the authorities and say "Give me a no penalties option in Div 1 or I go with the fans preference". Div 1 will happen and this is all posturing regarding the final terms. As a stated non-Gers fan ... and it makes me sick - wish this had followed what the majority of fans (RFC(IL) and non RFC alike) want ... but 2nd tier it is -they are just arguing over the terms.
Agree0
Disagree0
Without the sectarian baggage!
I suggest you have a look at FF and RM then say that. That's all the bears there seen to care about!
It's all about being a 'rangers man' and we all know what that means.
Off course Bomber standing in the steps making it a clear that there are no Tims involved and that DF will check the books says it all!!
I fear that the sectarianism will be coming back stronger, louder and more regrettable than ever before!
Agree0
Disagree0
Its the sfa that are tryin to bend the rules you can hardly blame rangers for that and as far as attendances go how do you no there will only be 15,000 do you have inside info
Agree0
Disagree0
For everything we have done? Not payed tax and running costs for last season due to the theft by our former chairman. That I'd why we the club/fans are being punished. Remember the money still went into the club from our hard earned cash so ask yourself how it's more than we deserve.
Agree0
Disagree0
Division 3 for me, let's see how the other SPL teams survive for the next 3 years without us, should be interesting :-).
Agree0
Disagree0
I'm absolutely sick of these posts...."for all the wrongs you have done" what wrongs? Have Rangers been found guilty of any wrong doing? So far all I can see is an admittance of unpaid tax for nine months. Completely wrong but hardly the crime of the century!
Agree0
Disagree0
Am hearing alot about integrity, go to sfl3 an then u can hold your head up. But as far as I can make out rangers fans want to go to sfl3, it's the spl/sfa that r pushing for sfl1 so why is it rangers fault?
Agree0
Disagree0
What's with all the go to div 3 and hold your head up? If we go div 1 I will still hold head high cos it'll mean we never had a choice and that Scottish football can't survive without rangers. It would prove without doubt that Scottish football does need a strong rangers regardless of what people think. I'm proud of that. Btw I think we should go div 3 in all honesty but may not get a choice. It's more about saving Scots football than saving rangers
Agree0
Disagree0
Anorak - the point was that it's not "re-entry" but a "newco" that's applying. Can any club go down a newco route and clear its debts? The inescapable answer is that it would be bad for football if that were allowed so in short it isn't.
(your last post) I agree the sums don't add up but if Green's investors are patient, Rangers can get back to the SPL in 3 seasons without much capital because their gate receipts (and cup TV rights) are much higher than any SFL team.
Agree0
Disagree0
If we go to division three Scottish Football will be damaged and so will we it would take us years to recover from that.
Agree0
Disagree0
"For gods sake just go to div 3 and you will at least be able to hold your head high"
Who you talking to? Last I checked Rangers fans did nothing...
Agree0
Disagree0
Why would scottish football need a new club that happens to call itself the same name as an old one ?
Agree0
Disagree0
If GERS suspended for one year, no football - then fans could use the £18 million for this season ticket to mount a bid to buy out the asset strippers
this would allow all punishments, legal rangles and issues to be dealt with - then fresh start.
otherwise we could see more administration and liquidations - unless there is at les £10million per season on the table.
Agree0
Disagree0
The rules state we must re regester with the sfa fair enough division 3 for me in that way everyone is happy this sfa mob are unfit for buisness
Agree0
Disagree0
It's delusional to suggest that wanting Div3 is somehow dignified and in the same breath say you hope it kills the rest of Scottish football! Your quite right to say that at present your proven 'crimes' are restricted to the CW era but IF the BTC is found against you and the dual contracts allegations are proven then the club will have been shown deserving of the very worst of sanctions. However, the reality of CW's tenure is that the club's liquidation is the fault of Rangers men, and Rangers men alone! Your fan base will mean the 'club' will never die but to everybody else it it will be new club, old songs, same agenda.Â
The compromise idea of a parachuting of newco into sfl1 in order to soften the financial blow is neither lacking in integrity or practicality. No club should be lost because of the actions of the last Rangers Board, there is no integrity in punishing the innocent. The clubs have taken a stand based on there fans views and I applaud them for that.
The offer of a place in sfl1 is for the good of the game in so much as we need newco to fill the void left by the demise of the old firm. Change may come as a result and if we are left with one footballing body in Scotland then good will have come from this. Newco fans beware, the 3rd might sound like a great place for you to start getting your revenge from, but I doubt it's a place that you'll ever return to your former position from.Â
For as long as being a 'rangers man' implies what your not you'll never get back to the top. Society, the law and the world in general have moved on in the last 140 years and the prejudices of the past will no longer provide you with the advantages you became reliant on. Bill Struth more than any other set you on your way, and his belief and definition of what made a 'ranger' and his unequivocal belief in the morality of his sectarianism set the foundations for your demise. I for one wish he'd been alive to see bomber on the steps, hear the language of the crowd and then try tell me that any legacy he could claim wasn't tainted beyond recovery. When you build on hate, preach superiority and deny opportunity on the grounds of belief you guarantee your demise.Â
Craig Whyte and David Murray may have finished you off, but the ideology of Bill Struth means he was the architect of your ultimate destruction.Â
You welcome the chase? We are now so far over the horizon I doubt you'll even see us for years!
Agree0
Disagree0
No SFL team has the massive overheads as the newco, and there is nothing the newco can do about them.
The newco will have to drop its season ticets prices for Div 3, even if the average attendance is 25,000 the Hearts analogy still stands.
Once the dust settles fans will not come out in droves to watch Rangers playing Stranraer and Annan twice a year.
Motherwell were in the SPL, went into administration and cleared their debts, why should a newco be punished with extinction because they liquidated their debts, bearing in mind any fooballing debts would have been paid by the newco.
My case stands, the punishment of refusng the newco entry into the SPL is in effect a death sentence and way over the top for the crimes committed.

Investors are not patient when the business plan does not offer them a reasonable return on their risky investment. There is no pot of gold in Scottish football, it is a marginal business.
His investors will not bankroll 3 years of inevitable losses, its just not worth it.

There is no integrity in punishing the innocent............ Is this not what is happening to the innocent Rangers fans who have done nothing wrong except support the team they love. It's not David Murray or Craig Whyte being punished now, just the poor fans!

Is that what you think you deluded and bitter person...the SFA arent doin it to help us they are doin it to milk us more than they could if we go to the 3rd div so please stay away with your gumf and get to grips with the fact that integrity went out the window a long time ago and not just at ibrox!

Motherwell creditors got a 9p in the pound CVA. They in no way shape or form cleared their debts.
Agree0

I'm a rangers fan and wish the SFA would use this situation to completely revise scottish football. Does any body else think that a teams matchday squad should be made up of a third of Players under the Age of 21? Do away with a reserve league, and have an under 21 league and under 19s leagues only. if we do that it will allow clubs to be far more cost efficient, and make it easier to live within our means, hopefully talent would blossom and if they do, it would help all clubs get a greater sell on value for players and ensure youth gets a chance.

Three misleading poll options, where you play is part of the process of liquidation but poll seems to suggest it is punishment, it is not punishment that is still to come.
Would love to go to court and get given the sentence options na your Honour dont fancy that one ..............oh ok will no bother with a punishment off you go laddie carry on
Agree0

In the eyes of the law the season ticket holders are merely customers, who last year had their contracts honoured!
Your not a victim because of your choice of club, your not a victim because your club is dead, your not even a victim because your club is sh@t!
The only victims in this are the traders RFC screwed and the country that had its tax stolen. Your choice of club, with its history of hate, makes you no more a victim than Amon goeth or Charles Manson. Hate leads to fear, fear leads to ....... Just ask yoda, or the bunnet!
Your years in the wilderness are approaching and the school you attended will no longer shield you from the reality of you position.
WE welcome any chase you can muster, we appreciate it might be a while coming!

To the poster about Ben Hur (although I don't remeber him doing any cheating by the way) why not look to the other side of the city to the team you most likely support...............cast your mind back to 1990 when the Taylor Report made it compulsory for teams in the old Premier League to have all-seated stadia by 1 August 1994. Every team bar one spent money either completing or revamping their stadia to meet the criteria EXCEPT Celtic who didn't even complete their plans until December 1998, four month AFTER the stadium should have been completed. Couple that with the fact that Celtic's debt was £ 38 million against a turnover of £ 6.5 million in 1989 (the year after they'd bought players to mount a challenge in their Centenary Year) and you can then gain a better understanding of flouting so-called sporting integrity.
Some people need to 'know their history' before they start spouting about others.....
Agree0
Disagree0
Anorak - you just don't get it do you?
This isn't Rangers re-entry to the SPL, it's a new club.
That's why they have to apply for SFA membership.
A new club starts in SFL3 plain and simple.
Even then certain requirements will have to be 'overlooked' to accommodate new club in SFL3.
If they had achieved a CVA none of this would be happening, as old club would have continued in the SPL.
To be fair new club should NOT be held accountable for old clubs wrong doings.

Newco have been told by Le Havre "they no longer wish to play us as part of their 140th anniversary celebrations on Thursday July 12."
Believable24

Sporting integrity will be high on their list of values...so no surprise there then.
Agree0

Sadly no club wants to be associated with the Newco right now. Too many unanswered questions especially with the possibility of EUFA and FIFA maybe getting involved. Still to reach rock bottom before climbing back up.
Agree0

Been told they are going to ask Southampton instead of Rangers.
Agree0

That's bad form from Le Havre. Much as I agree with the SPL clubs' stance, these little football festivals are generally free from politics.
Agree0

I guess they wonder if we will have a team to send - Jaxie
Agree0

Not politics, they expect a full strength 1st team to bring quality to the tournament. RFC cannot field a first choice team due to the runaway stars.
Agree0

As usual feel sorry for any fans that have booked flights to go to a game that's not now happening.
not le harve's fault, they have tickets to sell to there own fans.
Agree0

Selling tickets, eh? So no sporting integrity at Le Havre then?
Agree0

I blame Green for this it would help if he would come out and tell us the name of our club this Sevco registration is utter nonsense what would the game be called Le Harve vs Sevco it might be Rangers to us fans but we need to know the new registered name and since its looking likely we won't be able to use, The Rangers.

If they dont start season 2012-2013any where other than 3rd division it will be an injustice to every other Scottish team, i hope the SFA,SPL SFL are proud of themselves for allowing this to happen.

I would like to ask all non-gers fans this:
If it can be proven that Rangers could not possibly survive in Div 3 and would go extinct, would you still insist on this punishment ?
If it can be proven that Scottish football as a whole would be crippled by Rangers extinction would that change your mind ?
If the answer to these is yes and no, forget sporting integrity, its just pure malice. The punishment is disproportianate to the crime, they cheated, they did not murder anyone.
Anorak.
Agree0

And the SFL saying that it's a simple majority vote, NOT a 75% favourable vote needed.
Agree0

Let us settle for SFL3. There is too much anti RFC sentiment buiding up in SFL1.
If we go to SFL3 how can we afford to keep Ibrox going.
Agree0

The rangers fans to be honest wish to play in division 3 this is not a plan by the rangers support it just reflects on our fans for ths sfa and sfl to place us in division 1 which we are against it puts us in bad light
Agree0

In reply to anorak, yes and no are my answers. they deserved to be punished. as like any newco, they must apply for the 3rd division.nothing to do with malice, just common sense.
willie bhoy
Agree0

If they had murdered someone, the sentence would be life imprisonment. However as they have merely cheated in a sporting competition they are being dealt with accordingly. If they dont survive the blame lies with themselves. If scottish football cant survive without them them its worthless. Somehow i think it will do just fine.
Agree0

The next time I see the statement " Sporting integraty " I swear to god I will put my fist through the screen .
Agree0

1. It's not a punishment, your a new club so go through the same procedure as any other new club has to that wants to join the SFL you aint getting relegated as newco is not in the SPL
2. No, would make no difference
It's not a punishment its what happens when you get liquidated, punishments should still follow as they are a separate matter.
This was brought on your own heads by your own actions...................no one else is to blame but those who ran your club
Agree0
Disagree0
Anorak, not malice on my part. As a Thistle fan I have no axe to grind. However the rules are in place for a club applying for membership to the SFL, they start at the bottom. Ross County did, ICT did, Elgin did. Why should those rules not apply to the Newco?
Agree0

I would like to ask all non-gers fans this:

If the answer to these is yes and no, forget sporting integrity, its just pure malice. The punishment is disproportianate to the crime, they cheated, they did not murder anyone.
Anorak.
My honest answer to you Anorak is PROVE IT THEN. Arrange an independent body to look over the implications of your questions at your expense and put the findings to the SFA/SPL and all member clubs. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
Agree0
Disagree0
Anorak why should i be responsible for newcos fiscal responsibility? dont blameshift. you got urself into it , so get yourselves out of it and stop blaming others. all new clubs start at the bottom . newco seem to think they are above this. show some of your mythical dignity.
Agree0

Forget Div 3, Ibrox would be a block of flats in under 2 years, the sums just dont add up.
Anorak.
Agree0

If it can be proven that Rangers could not possibly survive in Div 3 and would go extinct, would you still insist on this punishment ?
YES - i dont see you trying to resurect any of the 100s of other clubs that went extinct... why start now. This is sport - winners and loosers......
As Murrary said when other clubs hit admin... thats their problem.
Its yours too - so is liquidation - sadly.
This plan looks like a stalking horse to get GERS into DIV 3 - which is still a big ask.
do you have 3 years accounts - NO ! but there are clubs that do and they want the DIV3 place !! Why should they not get it cos they have a full team, have played more games than yous... and have tried to get in ???
you club have no games, no full team yet, and no sign of funding to sustain a full season ...
Agree0
Disagree0
Anorak, what are you talking about? Nobody is doing anything to Rangers. Rangers have done it all to themselves, and now they are complaining that everyone else is not giving them special treatment and saying it doesn't matter. if you can't survive in the 3rd division, you should have played by the rules in the SPL.
Agree0
Disagree0
Its got to be div 3 we must respect division 1 clubs
Agree0
Disagree0
Rangers out of all football for 1 year - COULD ACTUALLY SAVE GERS - only the biggest teams like Man Utd could survive a calamaty of this nature
It would stop all the asset strippers dead - clear the air and some debts - and next year you would be able to restart from scratch with honour.
Currently who knows it GERS will be in admin next year again ? if not fully funded - no EUROPEAN foot for 3 years - so no big stars will play for them without european footy ???
Wilderness years approach... {Ed039's Note -
Agree0

Picking up on this 3 years accounts business, how can a new company have 3 years accounts ? By very definition it's a new company surely , and exactly where is this rule of 3 years accounts , no doubt the same place as it has to be 75% of SFL votes which was pointed out that it doesn't exist either .
Agree0
Disagree0
Not being voted back into the SPL was a punishment, anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
If anyone thnks Scottish football can afford to lose 16 milion per year then dream on.
No investor is gong to bankroll Rangers losses for the next 3 years, their turnover wont pay the overheads.
Anorak.
Agree0
Disagree0
How can a vote be a punishment? it's merely a democratic decision.
Agree0
Disagree0
Anorak - If the Newco (not RANGERS, get it into ur head... Rangers are being liquidated! Investors, or the lack of, are investing in a new company) can't cover their overheads, why should they be admitted to the SFL before Spartans or Gala Faridean?
The newco should have to go through the same process as any other non SPL/SFL club wanting to apply for a vacant spot.
As for Scottish football not surviving without the 16 million being used by SFL/SPL scaremonkeys - I'm a Dundee United fan and don't care if my club have to make drastic cuts to our playing budgets. At least, we will have found our natural level. I'm more than happy to pay the same price for my season ticket (even if the standard of Scottish Football drops), on the privisio I now paying money to want a league where the newco get a hand up and are promoted two leagues before they even kick a ball.
Are the Newco going to parade their Division 2 & 3 titles before they kick off their season in division 1 ??
Agree0
Disagree0
Rangers have done wrong, but the fans id not have any say in this financial debacle. Now we are to be punished from every possible angle. Surely our punishment is vast compared to Juventus,Marseille and other European clubs. If we have to start in Div 3 so be it. I for one will never set foot in another Scottish ground apart from Ibrox in future, and I am sure many others feel the same.
Agree0
Disagree0
How can a vote be a punishment? it's merely a democratic decision.............
How the punishment was determined does not alter the fact it was a punishment.
Anorak.
Agree0

The newco should not be in the SFL, the punishment of refusing them entry to the SPL was disproportianate. Motherwell cleared their debts and got a 10 point penalty and the newco gets extinction.
Rangers is a supermarket, it cannot be downsized for 3 years into your local corner shop.

You are wrong. Rangers going to the SFL is not a punishment.
It is the consequence of Oldco being liquidated and Newco having to apply for league membership as a new team.

Agree0

Calm down Anorak. Its not a punishment. Rangers are no more, the have ceased to be. Bereft of life they rest in peace. They are an ex football club.
The new team which wants to replace the now defunct Rangers has no right to a place. It has to ask to be allowed in.
Simples.
And what happened to 'no-one likes us we dont care' ?
Agree0
Disagree0
Ibrox,Murray Park etc should have been sold off to pay back the Creditors of Old Rangers. Now you are saying that New Rangers can not afford to run Ibrox etc in Div 3 and therefore Scottish football should re-write the rule book to accomodate the Newco. Just sell up and ground share and live within your means if this is the case.
Agree0
Disagree0
Rangers punishments so far :-
1) 10 point deduction.
Err that's it.
You haven't paid and won't ever pay the fine. The signing ban was standard practice.
Everything else was self inflicted.
Rangers went bust.
That you choose to follow the new team is your choice entirely. The old team died because there was no business case for a CVA to keep it alive.
The new team is just that, a new team. Why would there be a case for anything other than the standing orders to be applied as with every other application for SFA membership ? (That's the one Mr Charles put in last night. The one for the membership of the new team.)
Agree0

Just how do they propose affording the policing costs if Rangers end up in Div 3? Financial sensibility instead of simple vengeance is required.

Just been advised that the remaining players that have yet to announce their future, but were paid yesterday- can no longer leave under TUPE.
Believable20
Unbelievable39
Tupe does not work like that..... Company must make clear terms to players and they must accept them.
Agree0
Disagree0
I don't think any fans would get hot'n bothered if any of the remaining 'assets' walked away?
Agree0
Disagree0
I thought there was a legal requirement for dialogue/discussion. Just because the club automatically pays money into a bank account does not, in itself, constitute a legal transaction. Now if the player withdraws cash on the strength of that payment then it may be open to interpretation. However, do you really want an unhappy player on the field being forced to play against his will?
Agree0
Disagree0
Yes they can. Under general company law the employee can treat this as an overpayment or a mis-payment. If there is no contract of employment or even a verbal agreement in place the employee can walk away. Furthermore, not sure of all the ins and outs of the paperwork transferred from oldco to newco, but if personal information such as player's bank accounts details have been given to the newco from the oldco without the players consent this could be deemed as breach of data protection.
Agree0
Disagree0
Nobody expects some of these players to play in the lower leagues, when they took a pay cut they had written in to their contracts that they could be sold on the cheap thus giving rangers some much needed cash, but instead of going down this route thay are all jumping ship and leaving for free, they should be ashamed of themselves, old rangers fans will support the newco rangers, they could at least support the fans and give us that much needed cash
Agree0
Disagree0
Not true as Tupe requires similar terms and Conditions not only in pay but working practices and situation, the 3rd division is not the Spl all the players need to do is return the cash and walk away
Agree0
Disagree0
Re: "I thought there was a legal requirement for dialogue/discussion"
Exactly. And this is the crux of the matter, Rangers (or newco to the anally retentive) had an obligation to fully consult employees and explain their options. This never happened and consequently players are within their right to walk.
Agree0
Disagree0
Like others have said, it's not the "king's shilling" situation. But I guess it gets muddled if a player starts training with newco and then decides to leave. i.e. he can't sit on the fence.
Agree0
Disagree0
Not a Bear but I do feel sorry for all the non superstar players. The very fact that they found time to hone their football skills indicates that most of them are not too academically minded. They are youngsters and few in number. They get covert threats from Green about what he will do if they excercise their rights... fans abuse them if they leave a clearly sinking ship... not a nice situation to be in.
Agree0
Disagree0
I have been through TUPE twice unfortunatley and nothing in the public domain at least around Rangers bears any semblance to TUPE in the real world. As for payment meaning acceptance.....complete nonsense. Players and staff can still walk as T&Cs are not same as oldco.

Fan power should always win. Personally, im glad we look set to start in division 3, would love to see 35season ticket holders and a regular 45-50k at ibrox every other week.

Yeah, add Hibs and Dundee Utd who both indicated today that due to uncertainty they wont be signing any new players next season. The slow death of Scottish Football has begun. Resentment before sporting competition.
Agree0

This is the end of Scottish football as we know it! League won by September. More season tickets will be sold because of hatred - but what happens next season? You reap what you sow! I will not follow Scottish football, it will be like Welsh League. Maybe this is the end of our team - it is probably for the best. Sorry.

..This has very little to do with fan power..much more to do with other spl clubs grabing more cash and voting rights..At the end of the day something drastic had to happen to Scottish football so it could change for the better...just a huge pity its at the expense of my club....

Healy....Id rather have a laddie in my team. Complete waste of space and waste of money in salary the years hes been here. Gets praise at ibrox because hes northern irish....bottom line is the guy is living off a career he had 5/6 years ago. Lazy, overweight and past it! We dont need players like him anymore. We need chanage and that includes getting rid of guys like Lafferty and Healy.

David Healy's only lasting achievement at Ibrox is that scything tackle on Young Forrest last season.
That is not what we need from a supposed goalscorer (let's face it he was lucky to stay on the park), we need goals.
The ultimate disaster would be not achieving promotion from any of the leagues we are playing in - Jaxie

Good point mate. The club needs to get their skates on if they want to identify a few players to come and play in the First Division next season.
And it won't be easy getting players to come and play in SFL 1

You still have a transfer emargo and will need to accept the 12 month ban to allow yoursellves to be bullied into SFL 1

Ian Black I would take for one if he was willing to go down and climb the leagues. Quality players going for free but we wouldnt be able to afford them - Craig Gordon, Carlos Cuellar.....

Still don't get what? We get it all right. Unpaid taxes and running costs for 9 months by a crook of an owner. Its wrong and we accept it. What's the punishment? Its not clear so you just make it up as you go along and add more and more till we end up extinct.
Liquidation and loss of all players who have any value, plus relegation. And you all want more. Shame on you. Vultures die as well and that's what will happen. Sooner than you could imagine.

Rangers cannot survive startng from div 3, it is commercially impossible.

Sorry but Rangers did not CLEAR their debts ...they abandoned them and left all and sundry out of pocket..big big difference Anorak.... but as usual thats ok debt free and lets spend all we have on new players and beat the wee teams into extinction {Ed039's Note - So Motherwell cleared theirs did they?)

They'll be mistaken ..... The DD has been set up for all (it's the only quick way it can be transferred from oldco bank to newco bank), however money will ONLY be taken from bank accounts on the 6th July. All those that have requested cancellations are updated on the ticketing system and payment won't be taken. I think you'll find they have seen the DD set up and assumed payment was taken ........

Why dont you call your bank and tell them to Stop payments - in other words cancel the Direct Debit...??!!

What company is taking money.. which is paying wages ? which is taking all the profits, which the losses and who exactly are the players signed too? this is a small maze at the moment which appears to be growing. Mr Green is director in all of these new companys?Sevco 5088 Ltd, Sevco Scotland Ltd and RFC 2012 Ltd – Which One Claims to Be Rangers?
I may be a bit thick at times , but which one was proposed for joining league? hope the one with players and money in it.. or has he put all three (possibly 4 due to name change in RFC2012) up one for each league?? bound to get inot one then.. i give bloody up..............aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I posted three weeks ago that many of the season tickets automatically renew each season and that first of 4 debits was 29 june later posponed to 6 july.
Cancel debit with bank at latest on the 5 july if you dont want to pay just now.

Hi mate,i am a celtic fan and feel for the real rangers FANS! my mate had the same thing happen to him last week with his season book/ticket and they said it was because it was a direct debit and that he never cancelled that! still stealing from real fans. no surprise there!
Agree0

Maybe this will help.
Sometimes,if you ask the bank to cancel a DD,the company asking for the payment, not knowing this, will process the payment anyway. The bank may take this as a new agreement and pay up.If,however, when cancelling, you instruct the bank to attach a "Duty of Care" order to your cancellation, then the bank must return to you for permission to pay the DD.If they don't,they're liable.

I believe given past experiences gers fans are entitled to know Greens financial backing. If he is just intending to run the newco on season ticket sales then to be honest the fans might as well own their own club. It is prudent to assume Green is not going to bankroll the inevitable losses for the next 3 years out of his investors pockets, there is no return on that money.
The newco needs investment for non-commercial reasons and that can only mean the fans. You are only talking about a 5.5 million share issue for goodness sake, and if he does not agree then withold the ticket money.
Get organized.
Anorak.

Green probably told bomber if Rangers fans don't support the club through these difficult times, then he is entitled to liquidate the assets and sell off the land.

Rangers in crisis: Maurice Edu set to join Ibrox exodus as clubs line up to sign walkaway stars
MAURICE EDU last night dropped a heavy hint he could be the next big-name Rangers star to quit Ibrox.
The American midfielder has yet to return to Glasgow after being given extra time off over the summer by gaffer Ally McCoist.
But after watching several of his team-mates walk out on the club, Edu is set to follow suit by refusing to play in Scotland's lower leagues.
Skipper Steven Davis, along with Allan McGregor, Steven Naismith, Steven Whittaker and Sone Aluko have already decided to walk away.
And Edu, the subject of a failed £500,000 bid by French side Sochaux last season, is likely to reject the transfer of his contract to Charles Green's newco and leave Ibrox on a free.
He revealed he's desperate to test himself at the highest level. And on the day just 13 players arrived at Murray Park, Edu said: 'I'm no different than anyone else. You want to go as far as you can in this game and see how far you can go.
'It's a short career, you know? You want to try to play at the highest levels possible and test yourself against some of the best players.'

Here we go again. WE NEED TO KNOW!
Green and Whyte own the club thats all you need to know. They have no intention of making it a force in Scottish football, they are business men and are in the habit of making money quickly. I cannot believe the amount of stick brown's getting. Ok maybe the guy can't deliver a speech, but give the guy a break. Everyone on this page are shouting rangers should be run by rangers men. Agree0

No official apology from the club though ed? its quite unbelievable that rangers havent apologised yet {Ed039's Note - The fans can't influence this though, Craig white ain't the apologising kind but I agree Malcolm Murray or green should come out with a lengthy statement but it wouldn't make any difference in my opinion)
Agree0

If bomber receives a penny from anyone without having a properly incorporated company to do business he's breaking the law.
If he tried to sell tickets to Ibrox, he's breaking the law as he doesn't own Ibrox or rangers FC.
The guys an idiot.
Agree0

To the first guy that claims Green &Whyte own the club here's what Malcolm Murray said today on the matter:
“For the avoidance of doubt, Craig Whyte has no involvement with the club, in Sevco, The Rangers Football Club or any other of the consortium members. Indeed, measures have been implemented to ensure that Mr Whyte could not return to the club in any way which is in compliance with the SFA’s ruling on his participation in Scottish football.â€
For me Malcolm Murray is one of the few guys involved in all this that is coming across well.
As for Brown spilling the beans today in the Sun today. What happened there? Maybe the guy's been getting a bit confused recently after having one too many too many times. And how legal is it to take money on board for a company that hasn't even been registered as far as I can tell. BB

So if Brown and his cronies get in they won't dish the dirt on Green? isnt this the kinda need to know stuff which got Rangers into this mess in the first place. A new Rangers should be a open book for the fans in order something like this doesnt happen again, if Brown is the way forward for Rangers he needs to be up front and honest with the fans no-matter what the outcome of this takeover is.
Agree0
Disagree0
Remember.. Brown will be under a standard NDA (confidentiality) clause/agreement. He cannot divulge information without the risk of litigation & damages. While he knows the answer but cannot disclose or publice it himself, He can propose the correct question for others (the fans) to demand the FULL truth
Agree0

Looking at the posts...Season book money- whats the rush to pay newco? A fool and his money are soon parted. Good advice would be to hold fire at present, at least to see how the dust settles on the important footballing matters- a few weeks anyway. That provides fans with some leverage with newco regarding answers on any queries, investors & plans...... Malcolm Murray, yes seems honest but remember that dishonest businessmen use men like him & their to provide credibility, deflect attention and wheel them out and use as a shield when needed. Malcolm Murray seems sincere but he can only tell what he knows, is aware of or has been told. Information, and separately documented commercial agreements & arrangements - concerning Freehold Title, Deemed title, Equity participation, Earn out rights on IPO or sale of Rangers newco -, so damming for those involved at newco if came to light, would be (and I believe is) kept from him.
Agree0

Charles Green has made no secret of the fact that his investors expect a return on their money. If Gers fans don't support the club then he will sell the assets to another Rangers consortium or developers, whichever is the highest offer.
I did not need a drunk man to tell me the bleeding obvious.
