Jam Tarts are toast. Jamie is on his way.

30 Jul 2017 02:12:24
Yeah 100% Doiger. Especially after Cathro doesn't play him stating he's unsettled and isn't PERFORMING!
Cathro really did need to win that game. Can only think that it is now so imminent that a Club/ Manager does not want a Player going out to pick up a stupid injury!

30 Jul 2017 08:54:59
Jam tarts are toast? Isn't that a pop tart?

29 Jul 2017 19:28:41
I have a feeling Wes will be offski since we played Alnwick against Watford.

Would have thought that most of preferred first team would be playing in latest games.

29 Jul 2017 20:48:20
Pedro said starting 11 against Wednesday would be close to the starting 11 against Motherwell. We'll need to wait till tomorrow

29 Jul 2017 22:32:47
Yeah think wes will be back for Wed game.

29 Jul 2017 23:11:40
There is no game on Sheffield Wednesday.

30 Jul 2017 00:07:08
If Wes goes, then Zander Clark at St Johnstone should be our No 1 replacement

Alnwick isn't Rangers class. struggled against St Johnstone away on last game of the season.

30 Jul 2017 00:15:54
Hope not. Get rid of wes asap

30 Jul 2017 07:22:29
Greyfriar- incorrect mate he didn't struggle at all the defense did. In the minimal game time he's had and his previous experience I would say at 23/ 24 he will easily fill big awesome boots and is a more rounded keeper, if he isn't then I would prefer to see young Liam Kelly getting game time prior to any other keeper being brought I .

30 Jul 2017 07:24:29
So sell Foderingham and keep Alnwick. Come on now.

30 Jul 2017 16:54:15
Big time ahead wishing the boys all the best today.

29 Jul 2017 19:14:31
Been reading that Pedro may use a 4-4-2 system. I like this system BUT I still think that when we play Celtic Aberdeen and poss Hibs then a 4-1-4-1 would be better.
Also Alves is going to be a very important Player for us and imo games against Accies etc should be spared.

He not only holds defence together but settles whole Team imo. I just hope that a Manager from opposition doesn't instruct a Player to constantly get into him as losing Alves would have a huge impact. Wilson must be used along with Cardoso.
Agree?

29 Jul 2017 19:27:00
Nope.

29 Jul 2017 19:44:17
Wilson must be used with Cardoso? You can't be serious. Alves will start every game. I'd rather have Bates in if he gets injured.

29 Jul 2017 19:52:27
:D I really don't think the big man should play all games, Rick u patter merchant.
So need to utilise Wilson?
Yup

29 Jul 2017 20:30:12
To give us the best chance of silverware this season we need our best 11 on the park in every game, the best 11 doesn't include Wilson or Bates. Big Bruno is 35 and in good shape. Remember we played Davie Weir well into his 40's. You only have to look at the goal we lost against Marseille when Bruno went off. Wilson and Wallace made a total arse of it.

29 Jul 2017 21:25:37
centre-back partnership must be Alves and Cardoso. Don't need to tell anyone how good Alves is, the fact he's 35 and is still playing international football reguarly with the Euro Champions speaks for its self. Cardoso hasn't put a foot wrong yet. Passes the ball well, comfortable in possession and can defend. Whatever traits he's missing, Alves has them. Assuming both stay injury free, not many teams will pose a goal threat this season.

30 Jul 2017 02:14:51
Pedro like most Managers/ Clubs will need to rotate and Bruno can't play every game!

30 Jul 2017 04:08:07
I WANT Alves to partner Cardoso every single game! BUT I think we may have to rotate now and again just due to his age!
If we are 3 up after 50-60 then put Wilson on. Dunno best way to do it but i'm worried about injury and think yeah why not bring back Hill IF there are doubts over Wilson/ Bates but does Pedro have doubts?

30 Jul 2017 16:45:09
Yes, let's have our best defender on the bench 😞

30 Jul 2017 16:49:00
Need to stop playing miller for a full 90 mins every game.

30 Jul 2017 21:33:31
Keep hearing people say we must play our strongest Team BUT SURELY we know and MUST accept that we need to rotate certain Players more than others! Point being if Nico plays an absolute blinder and scores assists X amount over 90mins on Sat then come Wed he may need a break.
Bruni for his age is mega fit for his age but we will need to rest him now and again.

29 Jul 2017 19:04:14
A move for motherwells Chris cadden is looking likely after his agent has already spoken to rangers.

29 Jul 2017 19:45:33
How do you know his agent has spoken to us?

29 Jul 2017 21:13:28
Good strong young player with potential

29 Jul 2017 11:19:31
Michael O'Halloran has joined St Johnstone on loan until January.

29 Jul 2017 12:21:17
Hopefully they're paying a good chunk of his wages but I doubt it.

29 Jul 2017 14:56:34
Thank god he is gone, never been at the standard to play for rangers

29 Jul 2017 14:59:07
We should drop him at the side of the motorway in a box! 😂

Hopefully they're paying the bulk of his wages.

29 Jul 2017 16:26:16
Never given chance

29 Jul 2017 17:37:51
He was given a chance. The lads got a heart the size of a pea!

29 Jul 2017 18:04:03
Although I would have liked him to go to a Club that paid all his wages, Tommy Wright knows him and imo if fit will be his first name on Team sheet.
If Moh had went down South he may not get the game timehe will at St. J.
This deal will either make him a better Player for US or peak somebodys interest elsewhere resulting in future bid but as for making loan permanent I doubt it. We're prob paying half his wages!

29 Jul 2017 18:23:13
Or stay out on loans until his contract expires

29 jul 2017 19:02:39
Yes, definitely off to St. Johnstone. just wonder how much their paying? My opinion is 50% poss 60% but at least it trims the squad and will put him in window and he may come back happier and a better Player. All good I think.

29 Jul 2017 19:22:42
Really can't see St. Johnstone paying more than 50% which would be around £3.500 a wk but I would hope that we would try and get at least that! In fairness to St. Johnstone Moh will prob be their highest paid Player! Hopefully this will lead to him coming back a better Player and/ or another Team seeing him play for St. Johnstone and becoming interested.

29 Jul 2017 19:25:52
Dunno about that Mcc. At least he will prob have 6 months of first Team football and it csn only benefit all parties. Maybe even help St Johnstone to a result against Teams like the Tic Sheep and Hibs.

29 Jul 2017 19:45:48
Good move for all parties I think. All the best.

30 Jul 2017 00:11:00
I have always thought that we should've played MOH as a centre forward. strong and pacy

I'll guarantee St Johnstone will play him as a CF and he'll get goals.

We need to learn to play to players strengths.

Look at Garner. his strength was cross balls into the box for him to attack. did we do it. no.

30 Jul 2017 08:48:07
Was given every opportunity to show what he could do. We need players who have more than pace in their locker.

29 Jul 2017 00:07:35
Jamie walker drop for tomorrow's game! He's on his way!

29 Jul 2017 01:17:05
Heard he is injured not dropped

29 Jul 2017 01:20:17
No big deal. He's 24, uncapped, just one appearance at under 19 and under 21 for Scotland. Why are there no other big clubs sniffing round him? Because he's an average player and too many of our fans have once again been taken in by the hype and the hysteria. I really can't see anything to get excited about here.

29 Jul 2017 05:11:50
Wee ecky how many caps did Armstrong have before celtic signed him.

29 Jul 2017 08:56:40
Eck his stats in spl for last few seasons suggest he is a good player and he's been playing in a poor hearts side. He is also exactly what we need positionally in our team, he's direct and scores goals. He is a fan and wants to play for us, hearts either take the offer or he signs contract with us in Jan fir hee haw.
On another note I've heard that Celtic see Moult as a solution for centre forward and will pay the 500k

29 Jul 2017 12:10:33
Sounds like another templeton to me.

29 Jul 2017 13:16:17
Anyone who saw him rip us to bits at Tyncastle last season would agree that he's the right type of player we need to compete this season.

He's strong, industrious, has good pace, can deliver from wide, can strike a ball well and at 24 he has his best years ahead of him. An absolute no brainer.

Can help but think if his name was Juan Walker and playing for a mid table Portuguese side the same fans discrediting the boy would be telling us the he is a wee hidden gem.

29 Jul 2017 13:29:19
RW - have to totally disagree. Templeton's non starter at RFC was all in his mind, and nothing to do with his ability.

Walker has all the ability and is of sound mind - he got man of the match a couple of games ago for Hearts and had a tremendous last season.

His manager gives him glowing reports as does his team mates.

I am really not sure how you can compare him to Templeton.

29 Jul 2017 14:06:40
I have just got off the train from Fife to Edinburgh, full of Hearts fans and they are all saying they have heard he is in Glasgow or on his way. Asked to leave supposedly 700k plus add ons. Only passing on what I was told by a good few on the way to the Dunfermline game today. They also said Lafferty has been good for them so far. Lol

29 Jul 2017 15:18:27
Thegers1986. Armstrong had no caps, but he was almost two years younger than Walker is now, he had a great prdigree at U21 and U19 level and since signing for the dark side he has had two caps. Your point is?

29 Jul 2017 18:47:10
I think he is a good player and will make a difference tbh. The point about Armstrong is spot on. Good young Scottish players are there and a club like ours should always be at the head of any queue to give them their big chance. Jamie Walker would do very well at Rangers.

29 Jul 2017 18:50:18
Walker is exactly the type of player we need, should have signed paterson as well.

29 Jul 2017 18:54:05
We should take Moult for 500k that's a bargain. We paid that for MOH and he scored much less goals before we took him.

29 Jul 2017 18:55:21
He's a fan big deal. doesn't mean we should sign him

29 jul 2017 19:05:44
Rick witter, if david templeton hadn't the unfortunate injury problems at rangers, he would have been a superb winger for us! He had everything in his locker! Now i also like and rate jamie walker but putting injuries aside here for now, walker couldn't lace templeton's boots on ability, IMHO!

29 Jul 2017 19:21:49
Sounds like ohalloran tbh. Great till he pulls on that royal blue shirt.
