Going by some reports now the loan deal for us signing southampton's young defensive midfielder harrison reed seems to be dead as there is too many obstacles to make the deal happen, its a pity as this defensive midfielder is exactly the player we need, this young midfielder is very highly thought of and some even say he's the new paul scholes, disappointed to have missed out on him.

29 Jan 2016 22:43:57
Surprise Surprise.

29 Jan 2016 23:51:12
So by you saying that it ain't happening surely means it will, as you said on several occasions that moh is coming and that u had inside info on it.

30 Jan 2016 00:29:55
Hahaha was thinking same thing.

30 Jan 2016 01:59:05
well must admit iv finally accepted defeat in the michael o'halloran deal now and i firmally believe mark warburton doesn't get a say in transfers pure and simple he wanted 2 guys badly and hasn't got both a club our size wasnt able to shell out half million each for 2 good players? gers fans if u think this is acceptable then god help yous warburton must be thinkin right now maybe i should have took the other jobs down england least he would have had cash to splash instead it comes back and hits him right in the face. u want o'halloran who is a player who reminds me off say ex players and legends neil mccann and peter lovenkrands lightning pace and fee off 500k? worth it as pace is hard to find now a days. instead we have to settle for billy king who isn't in the hearts first team 11 everyweek but wots the chances he just goes straight into our startin 11 what does tht tell u about our team then and our current situation are we tht dessperate? or we 100% skint we can't afford half million.

I Still Think We'll Get MOH, We'll See What Happins After The St Johnstone Game The Day. ** * **.

30 Jan 2016 08:13:39
Albertz, with all due respect mate I wish your good self and others would read my post regarding michael o'halloran properly, let me jog your memory, I posted that moh has agreed his side of the deal ie. if rangers and st. johnstone can agree the transfer fee, the duration of his contract and wages has been agreed in principle and like I said I do have some inside info on this, hope this clears it up for you mate, let's wait and see what monday brings.

30 Jan 2016 09:13:57
Barrymiddleton warburton said he himself doesn't want to over pay for players. He wants to add value. Read the article where he's comparing it to buying a house. I don't think it's actually all kings fault.

30 Jan 2016 11:22:14
We're not buying a house though, are we?
Yer man's got to be worth 500k all day long. Quick scenario, supposing we were offered a crackin wee player for x amount next season but MW said no, I feel he's only worth y amount and refused to meet the valuation. We then miss out on him for the sake of a few hundred grand. I for one would not be happy, especially if said player goes on to become worth millions.
What is going on, we need a dm and a striker and we sign winger after winger. One of which we are developing for another team who fingers crossed, will be in direct competition with us next season?

30 Jan 2016 11:39:57
It's the manager and scouting networks who decide possible signings. Down to the manager how much he is willing to pay and who would fit into HIS team. doesn't matter if your not happy pie and bovril. . until your manager of course!

30 Jan 2016 12:05:57
Fair point geddes however, the point I'm trying to make is for the sake of a bit extra, not millions, we could have our No1 targets. Now we are set to miss out due to stubbornness or lack of financial backing. Either way, it doesn't bode well.

30 Jan 2016 12:33:46
I do see your point as well, however are we really sure who our number 1 targets are? It seems that we are linked to players via the proposed selling club who go to the press in a hope of raising prices. It would make no sense that our management team would let anyone know who they are trying to sign for that very reason and running the risk of being out priced/ losing out. The press and others are doing their utmost to divide us by any means, they are trying to get the support to panic about cash in general and continually use DK as a way of making supporters jittery, which is not that difficult considering our recent past. They have even tried to put divides in between him and the manager. Warburton has however backed DK and I am happy with his judgement on that. We as supporters need to trust them and the board, what giant strides we have made over the last year! We are coming back with a good team playing really good football and we have the people who kicked us when we were down looking over their shoulders . stick together! Keep the faith! And enjoy wiping the smirks off every single one of their faces when we're back where we should be! "They don't like it up them "

30 Jan 2016 13:09:45
It makes me wonder if lack of signings is due lack of cash with all these court cases hanging over our
Heads
If we look over the city they are taken a 12 million player on Loan
For 18 months something that we apparently can not even consider at the moment
We may well get ohalloran before
Monday but it is defensively we are ligjt.

30 Jan 2016 13:20:45
Aye lads look, all we can do is keep the faith and hopefully something will happen. This is some of the best footy I've seen since the Dutch revolution! Whatever happens happens. I shall follow follow our team through thick and thin. I'm in peth Australia for March and have already sussed out the supporters club!

30 Jan 2016 13:24:49
We probably pulled out when they asked for some contribution to wages or a fee for the loan.

30 Jan 2016 09:00:04
Absolutely nobody has 'inside info' on the MOH deal so don't believe that nonsense.

As for the 'lack of spending'. just cast your minds back a few years and where we've come from. More than happy that we live within our means. We've signed 5 players in this window by the way!

30 Jan 2016 13:40:39
Well said geddes on last post. Couldn't agree more.

30 Jan 2016 13:50:14
Can I make a point for all the fans that think Dave King and co haven't invested, by the end of the season Dave King and his fellow investors will have put 19 million into the club, that includes the 5 million back to Ashley, new staff, scouts, repairs to ibrox and Murray park, soft loans to keep the club going to cover the shortfall in the accounts, new players since last summer and fighting court cases left right and centre, all this costs money, unfortunately money that could have been spent of the team if others hadn't run our club into the ground, just keep the faith guys, it's going to take time
To eds please post this as my recent posts haven't been put up. cheers mate.

30 Jan 2016 13:58:22
Pie and bovril plenty places to find us bears in perth, Joondalup, floreat and rockingham to name a few, just stay away from Rosie o gradies in perth big celtic supporters club there and it's a bluenose that owns it and he says he loves taking there $$$$$ lol.

30 Jan 2016 15:07:08
Cheers blue. I'm staying in kalamunda but will make my way to one or all of these venues at some point!

30 Jan 2016 15:10:08
Kalamunda do you have family there and have you been before I am working up there just now 40 degrees and millions of flies lol.

30 Jan 2016 16:24:45
Aye. My dad and step family live there. Been a few times but not for any reasonable length of time hence not been out on the hit and miss much!
This time though!

30 Jan 2016 23:22:02
Cutch90,I can assure you I do have inside info on the possible moh deal to rangers and was the first on here 3 months ago that posted as much on this site, your like several other posters on here because you don't know nothing about the moh situation you want to assume and believe that nobody else does, I know members of moh's family simple as that, try giving people credit who are prepared to share such info with fellow bears on here mate.

29 Jan 2016 20:06:38
Does the loan deal for billy king have a option to buy?

29 Jan 2016 20:45:57
“I’m delighted to be here, this is a massive club and it is a big opportunity for myself. I am on-loan until the summer, so hopefully I can make a big impression and we will see what happens then. ” From the Bears website.

29 Jan 2016 21:00:46
hope not, strangest signing the clubs made under Warburton, if Hearts d`ont think he`s good enough for the SPFL, why would the club buy him to play there next season.
The loan just reeks of desperation to appease fans angry at board failing to deliver the three players MW had at the top of his list.

he won't admit it in public, but Warburton will be livid at the lack of support from D King and his board.

29 Jan 2016 21:03:49
Hearts didn't think Holt was good enough.

29 Jan 2016 21:14:35
yes they did Holt turned down a contact extension with hearts, stating he was looking for a new challenge.

29 Jan 2016 21:17:08
No option to buy. Confirmed by Hearts.

29 Jan 2016 21:54:31
No option to buy does not mean that if the loan is a success we will not bid to make I permanent, it just means that we do not have 1st refusal. Another thing tho, does anyone else think it was a coincidence that we didn't sign him on loan until wages where freed up by others leaving on loan?

29 Jan 2016 22:10:04
I think billy king is here to help us win the league and get promoted and won't be with us next season.

29 Jan 2016 22:33:14
Jason holt was sent out on loan to sheff unt last season cause hearts didn't think he was good enough for the championship.

29 Jan 2016 22:48:08
Personally I think King will do really well for us, he doesn't fit directly into the Hearts formation and that's why he's used as an impact player . Warburton knows a player when he sees one, he's surprised everyone before with his choices. let's trust his judgement!

29 Jan 2016 23:43:00
Inverbear know what you meant think you just didn't print it right!

30 Jan 2016 03:12:21
Totally gob smacked it this signing ths hus 2 be on par with marcus gayle if any use remember him honestly can't see ths boy playin feel so sorry on mark Warburton right now not getting his top transfer targets dave king needs reality check wots 1 million for 2 good players.

30 Jan 2016 06:59:57
It's a lot of money if you have none.

30 Jan 2016 13:14:47
I understand that some fans can't accept criticism of the club in any shape or form no matter how justified. But if we as fans accept this then the club then we are in trouble.

This is not part of some grand plan. It was a cheap option that works for hearts (frees up cash for soutter) . This kind of signing policy is not going to do us any good in either the short or long term.

30 Jan 2016 17:00:09
Middleton. Luigi, still got the same opinion of King,

31 Jan 2016 00:11:03
His younger brother plays for rangers, and if king impresses warbs he will also be a rangers player next year.

29 Jan 2016 17:11:49
Fraser Aird out, hopefully guarantees a new signing.

Billy King a replacement for Nathan Oduwa.

Hopefully we can get a more defensive minded player in before deadline, sure it'll happen.

Harrison Reed would be a coup. Maybe someone permanently with more experience would be better though.

29 Jan 2016 17:40:11
yes king just seems to be a replacement for oduwa
so nothing gained nothing lost there
with aird departing is the going to free up a wage hope fully an experienced player which could be the difference
with decent cup run.

29 Jan 2016 17:40:25
Don cowie is available.

29 Jan 2016 09:54:07
Rumour going around Tynecastle that rangers have made a bid in the region off 400-500k for Osman Sow.

29 Jan 2016 09:59:47
queens park or berwick?

29 Jan 2016 10:03:03
Why would we did that much when we could tie him up on a pre contact first.

29 Jan 2016 10:25:35
Lot of rubbish.

29 Jan 2016 10:27:40
Players profile is now on our official website.

29 Jan 2016 10:30:33
Not a chance.

29 Jan 2016 10:32:18
Sow has not renewed his contract, there is absolutely no way Rangers would pay any more than 100-150k for him. As already said he could sign for us for nothing and arrive in the summer. That's if the hat is even interested in him!

29 Jan 2016 11:49:23
Players profile still isn't on our Web page. And I can't see us shelling out half a million for him other wise we could have offered Stanley Acc. That money for jw and mc.

29 Jan 2016 13:09:18
MOH is worth more than this guy and if we are shelling out £400,000, (highly unlikely at present) , then we should be buying a defensive midfield player since that is where our real weakness is.

29 Jan 2016 13:39:18
if matt crooks is coming this summer then why would we buy a defensive midfielder? Surely Halliday can cover until the summer? Or Dominic Ball?

29 Jan 2016 15:15:05
I heard this rumour walking along gorgie road today, outside tynecastle arms between two classy hearts fans (one smoking his crack pipe the other throwing up in the gutter) .

29 Jan 2016 16:02:13
One of my co workers is a jambo and season ticket holder for hearts and he has said a few times over the last few weeks that the rumour doing the rounds at tynecastle is that we are getting sow on a pre contract at the end of the season and he is usually pretty reliable with his info. Not sure myself though.

29 Jan 2016 00:39:46
Rangers linked with Hamilton youngster Crawford seems a good player don't know if rangers quality what do yous think?

29 Jan 2016 01:07:36
Great wee player, hope this is true.

29 Jan 2016 01:52:39
Good player. As long as they take monopoly money we should be OK to bring him in.

29 Jan 2016 02:07:51
Well faf just looked ths up and unfortunately don't see anythin at all we certainly have no money to pay out its gotten tht bad were getting boys who can't get game from the start for hearts so wut chance do we have off getting ali crawford Hamilton would easly want 300 to 400k mind he's under contract he's 24 would love ths to happin but doubt it!

29 Jan 2016 02:07:51

29 Jan 2016 08:16:10
Barry, holt couldn't get a game for hearts either, look how he has been for us this year, and King can get a game, he's played 20 games already for hearts this season mate.

29 Jan 2016 09:18:24
Took in recent Hamilton game and Crawford gave the ball away continually, took the wrong option more than the right one. We need a player capable of meeting our needs right now not next year.

29 Jan 2016 09:54:17
Forfar he has played this year but as per Robbie Neilson he is now 3rd or 4th choice at the club and is being loaned out to get him some game time. The lad himself says he's here for game time in his interview.

I wonder how much influence Tynecastle now has over Rangers team selection.

The feeder teams (us) usually have to give assurances re playing time etc in order to convince the bigger club (hearts) to send their prospects to them.

29 Jan 2016 10:01:50
Forfarger, the difference between king and holt is if holt has an excellent seadon with us (which he has) he is ours to keep or sell. If king has an excellent season he will be playing against us next season. I do not see the use of making this guy a better footballer when its a given he will be playing against us. We might as well try and loan scott allan to give him game time for playing against us next season. I am one very dissolutioned bear.

29 Jan 2016 10:12:48
I think the loan market is fine for this season, we will win this league, when loan players return to the parent club in the summer it gives us more squad space and more scope to attract better players due to bein in the top Scottish league, if DK still doesn't back MW in the summer to strengthen the team that's when I will start worrying and looking for the panic button, until then loan signings could be key for the short term goal of automatic promotion.

29 Jan 2016 10:16:57
Realistically we don't have to spend much money this transfer window Lads.
When we get promotion that's when we will start to see our transfer targets being brought in, definitely not worried in the slightest.
** * **.

29 Jan 2016 10:17:55
if he can't get a game now, how is it a given he will be playing against us next year?

29 Jan 2016 10:28:03
I don't buy this developing him nonsense, surely he has developed well enough already, if he does the business for us that is all that matters, it clearly hasn't come into the manager's thinking.

29 Jan 2016 13:13:15
King would have been a good acquisition if it had been a permanent transfer, the fact that it is a loan deal is embarrassing.

The problem for me is still that King either does not have the cash or is not willing to part with it and one thing is for sure, we will need to spend in the summer if we are to make an impact on the SPl. No point on us being there if we are not there to win it!

29 Jan 2016 15:20:31
The only thinking involved was is he decent and is he cheap. There's no other strategies at work here.

This is a good deal. For hearts. Gets a youngster game time and helps free up money for their pursuit of soutter. That's why they have been willing here folks, they ain't doing us a favour.

For us we have got a decent young player as a short term fix. Anyone else remember MW saying if we go for short term fixes we are in trouble? F not then read today's papers- he's said it again.

29 Jan 2016 16:01:10
No short term fixes and yet we've brought in Forrester on a 6month deal, King on a 6month deal and a fisherman as cover for goal.

Confusing.

30 Jan 2016 10:25:32
Forfar, as i said if he has a good season with us and comes onto a game. He will play against us next season.
