Rangers could sign Stevie May in January proven goal scorer we need!

No disrespect but not good enough imo, I hope we spend a little extra on a striker, and hopefully that bit extra quality will be enough to finish off the chances that we have been missing all season.

He's torn his ACL. He won't be playing for at least half a year.

I would like to see us bringing back big Vuckic permanately he would b amazing in the number 9 role can score goals with both feet and his heid as well as having the skill to interchange with McKay and Waghorn.

30 Nov 2015 21:26:06
Vuckic is more of a attacking midfielder.

I hope our scout department has more imagination than bring back someone who is not good enough to compliment players who aren't good enough.

Gers please correct me if i'm wrong but heard a rumour that 7 year retail deals k8cks in only after we pay back the 5 million loan. any truth in this. strange how dk is now paying him back. so hope i'm wrong but please enlighten me boys.

28 Nov 2015 13:57:34
Aye, the clock starts ticking as soon as its paid? However, I recon by the time the courts are finished with those who have committed these fraudulent acts most of anything that was agreed with SD will be null and void as it was part of the plot to extract money to the benefit of other parties. Anyone can see that the deal was set up to rob us not help us.

28 Nov 2015 17:34:15
Bloody hell if true then stuzo he got a grip of us for at least another 7 years. hope something happens in the courts. sorry newcastle fans but every week i look out for your results and hope you go down just to mess up ashley and maybe if you do go down he might cut his ties with us too.

I hope the NOMAD is hauled up in court to answer how all this happened under his watch. No wonder he jumped ship when the old regime were flung out.

29 Nov 2015 14:55:53
Yes jfr exactly my sentiments, a Nomad is after all, there to advise and guide the company the represent.
Looks like they got it a bit wrong.

28 Nov 2015 23:12:20
Davie big bit in today's d.r., more or less saying this was an illegal move by old board, they've not got paperwork in regards half these contracts, plus the club had better offers from others in regards the loan from Ashley. the up and coming trial will go a long way to proving the old board acted illegally, so hopefully these onerous contracts will be ripped up, they should be imho.

29 Nov 2015 17:33:17
Totally agree guys, how any nomad could ok these contracts doesn't make sense to me, I thought a nomad was there to advise a company that any contracts signed are in the company's best interests. surely any level headed person could see that these retail deals only benefited one party ie sports direct, so I don't understand all of this, I'm not very well informed on financial matters anyway but surely the nomad should have been looking after the company's interest.

30 Nov 2015 13:36:54
So now its the nomads' (there was more than one over the period) fault?
A lot of people seem to have the idea that the nomad is some kind of enforcer to make sure that a company is run properly and make sure deals that are made are best for the company.
I'm no expert, but I don't think that this is the case. As far as I understand it, the nomad only manages a company's AIM listing. They have a duty to ensure that the company they represent meets (and continues to meet) the rules to be listed on the AIM, including fit and proper checks on the board members. Maybe that's why the nomad that King had 'lined up' mysteriously disappeared.
Please stop always trying to find another scapegoat for the problems that were caused internally.

01 Dec 2015 20:56:49
Yeah nomad role is to ensure compliance with alternative investment market listing rules to protect the market not the company.

There is a UK corporation law which states that directors of companies must act in the best interest of all share holders. In the long term this represents the best opportunity to challenge this deal.

This won't happen until the current criminal case as there would be a conflict between the two cases. Unlike Ashley taking action against DK which is based on events post accused fraud .
