Apollon Smyrni are in talks to sign defender Anestis Argyriou from Rangers.

Believable48 Unbelievable12

They need somebody to work the kebab stall.

Agree5 Disagree0

See if they'll take Cribrari, Perry and Hegarty as well. job lot.

Agree1 Disagree0

Why Hegarty? the kid will come on given time, he's only 19yrs give him a chance, at least this season and if he doesn't do the business then, away into the South he will go.

Agree2 Disagree0

Hegarty is very average to say the least. Average defender who gives you nothing going forward

Agree0 Disagree0

What about Hutton too?. And Faure. Get the duds out! I'd be inclined to punt Black too. He's a liability

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with Perry but why Heggarty. He is a decent youngster with some potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

Argyriou had his contract mutually terminated at the end of july.

Agree0 Disagree1

No he didn't be recently played in a reserve game and got injured

Agree0 Disagree0

Faure has looked good so far this season, lost a lot of weight

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen this rumour a few times flying about on twitter, not sure if it is true or not. Ally is said to be interested in making a move for former West Ham striker Carlton Cole who is currently without a club. Can't see it happening my self but just wanted to ask fellow bears what they thought of Cole

Wages would be too much no chance

No chance - his wages will be far too high

Agree1 Disagree0

Think it's QPR that are in for him hate it when they call them Rangers {The Ed039's Note - You are right)

Agree3 Disagree0

Carlton cole PMSL, FFS, Who dees yees think yees are?? Ally says the bears believe!! {The Ed039's Note - QPR)

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets face it as long as a player can put one foot in front of the other then ally's interested.

Blueice

Agree1 Disagree0

Thats paddy mccourt off the radar then!

Cole has made way for hately, who believe it or not will be on less money

Informed bear

Believable42 Unbelievable25

The manager has already stated that he wants a centre half and a striker. Hateley is neither so he won't be coming

Don't get this:-

ALLY McCOIST has decided he wants to offer Steve Simonsen a deal at Rangers - but he'll only do it if he's able to get Scott Gallacher out on loan first.

What's the point here?

Believable24 Unbelievable10

He thinks Galls has a future at Rangers and would benefit from playing 1st team football somewhere. So hei'll loan him out and have Simonsen playing second fiddle to Cammy Bell. Makes sense!

Agree1 Disagree1

The point is he rates the kid and he wants to give him more games than he'll get at Ibrox, Bell will be his number one and the Dane his number two, if Bell stays clear of injury the Dane won't get much playing time, this was done with McGregor and it worked a treat.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is an person as a manager he wants to spend £10m on wages for 3 player for every position IF he was allowed to. every day he is in charge is a day wasted and £1400000 divided by the amount of days in a season £5000 A DAY at current salary and bonuses NOT counting Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.

Agree0 Disagree0

To give a young guy a chance to develop his career whilst having experienced cover if no1 choice Cammy Bell gets injured. SIMPLES

Agree1 Disagree0

Is he not a person in other roles? Can he metamorphose at will? {The Ed039's Note - Havent edited any of these posts, but there is a post above that calls Steve Simonsen "The Dane" ...... former England Under 21 international, he is a geordie)

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think it makes too much sense and I certainly don't agree with the cheeky wee meercat in that it is SIMPLES. Gers are in dire straights financially. We will piss this league with or without Bell. We didn't need him and if Ally rates Gallacher then as he hasn't put a foot wrong he should continue in the side until he does (if he does) rather than have Bell walk in the team. Ally obviously doesn't rate him highly enough. We don't need an additional keeper on the wage bill and, if he has to play Bell, then the alternative would be to give Gallacher every third game or whatever. Now today we are linked with more players. How many players do we need? No cash, 2nd admin possibility looming, every player costs money. Not really that simple.

Agree0 Disagree1

There will be players leaving and don't be surprised if one of them is Wallace

Agree0 Disagree1

Hopefully Simonsen won't be offered a deal if Gallacher doesn't go out on loan. Barring a goalkeeper at another club getting injured at the weekend I don't see this happening before end of window on Monday. McCoist has been trying to get him on loan for weeks and nothing has happened

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry about calling Simonsen "the Dane" I really didn't know he was English, meant no disrespect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cammy Bell was always going to be number 1 choice, Steve Simonsen will be there for cover and this give Scotty a chance to play regular first team football, hopefully with a Scottish Championship side.

Darren Cole's contract terminated after he failed to attend a reserve match. More wages freed up.

Believable35 Unbelievable10

If this is factual then Darren Cole is a very silly young lad. He is clearly trouble and could screw up his career totally.

I always thought he was a decent youngster with potential but it looks like he is also a bit of a clown.

Agree1 Disagree0

Quite right, what a silly, silly boy! that's his career on a downward spiral now! Never get that chance of playing for Rangers again.

Agree1 Disagree0

Disappointed to see him go to be honest. After watching him in Bursaspor, I though he was an excellent prospect. This shows that he is not bigger than the club though. Outcome depending, and it must be a fair process, Black should be nervous. I'm watching with interest. Regardless, this is a warning to all the young players. GovanFR_CPL

boy has talent, but I don't care, he can't be bothered turning up to play for Rangers he can p__ off and play for a Cowdenbeath of this world instead. Good Riddance

Agree0 Disagree0

What will you get with extra 250 a week

Agree0 Disagree0

He will sign for the jags by friday, can't blame him he wants first team games, which he will never get at the Gers.

Great career move by the lad. I'm sure he is good enough to play in the top leagues in Scotland & not waste any talent he has dragging himself the lower divisions forever!

Agree0 Disagree0

For ever? silly statement. the boy engineered this, and good riddence

Agree0 Disagree0

Could not run a chippy!

Patricio Rubio signing heard it of a few people before the game?

Believable20 Unbelievable32

He recently signed for iniveritad de chile

Agree0 Disagree0

Rubio only signed for his club this season and is not a free agent so no chance

Agree0 Disagree1

I heard this yesterday as well we can sign players after 31st August transfer window is open until 2nd September

Agree2 Disagree0

No we cant. Scottish window shuts at midnight on saturday night

Agree0 Disagree0

The transfer window in Scotland (and N Ireland) closes on 31st August while most of rest of Europe in closes on 2nd September. SFA apparently decided Saturday's are part of normal working week or more likely the realised they had screwed up by putting a date on when our signing embargo ends without checking what day 31st August 2013 was so had to hastily come up with some way to stop us signing players
