Hopefully some truth in the story that Pedro is wanted by his old club in Mexico. Please take Penna with him.

27 Oct 2017 13:48:01
hes gone, give the man a break. personally i wish him all the best.

27 Oct 2017 14:14:49
Tried his best and believed in his choices, that is all he could have done.

All the best to the man.

27 Oct 2017 14:36:05
Geesadodothat Pedro wasn't given enough time He should have at least been given to the next transfer window, But as usual some so called Rangers fans want instant success,

27 Oct 2017 15:00:14
how long are our wonderful fans going to give Murty then - - xmas?

27 Oct 2017 15:02:01
Cunny, until the last two games, I was fighting for Pedro and hoping the fans would give him more time, but at the end of the day, he was unable to win 3 games in a row in 7 months. After the semi final, the game was a bogey mate.

That fact, coupled with Progres was haunting him, and the Euro result would have haunted him for the rest of his days as Rangers manager.

He was a gentleman and he understood what it was to be Rangers manager, but it just did not work out.

27 Oct 2017 15:42:27
Sad the way it's ended for Pedro really liked the guy. I wish him all the best.

27 Oct 2017 16:24:28
well that's us back to square one because our fans are too impatient i think if he was given time to implement his style of play or adapt his style to our league.

i think the man was just 3 players short of competing wi the unwashed

a proper rb and a winger and a big tall rogic type player in the middle of the park

27 Oct 2017 17:36:55
peds11 we are back to square one because of Pedro not the fans we didn't sign crap and we certainly didn't play inept tactics, that was one man

27 Oct 2017 18:17:53
nonsense, how was wednesday night his fault. ok he stuck with windass but with half the team injured whoelse could have played

27 Oct 2017 19:13:11
Wednesday? you having a laugh try 7 months of utter dross, the guy was out his depth from the start not up to the job in any way shape or form

27 Oct 2017 21:29:35
Implement his style of play? The only style of play he had was look for the long ball over the top as soon as you can. He ripped the width from the team as soon as he came and cut the passing game completely out. His man management skills were zero. Agree with him or you are going to play with the 20s. His interviews were nothing short of cringeworthy. Vampire blood, Vegas and caravans to name some of them. An embarrassment from day 1 and his record was shocking. Would still love to see his job interview in the first place and how he managed to blag his way to the job.

28 Oct 2017 06:19:15
A don’t understand how people can say pedro was getting it right? never won 3 games on the trot his team
Had no fight the players are really unfit they where dead on three feet at 70 mins we took a massive gamble and it didn’t pay off I hope the man finds a new job and is successful but to say he was 3 players short of winning the league is a wild statement to make a can only assume u don’t attend many games peds11?

28 Oct 2017 07:47:50
Take herrera and cardoso as well as pena with him.

28 Oct 2017 07:47:39
Thats right BearMode, all we wanted to see was progress but instead we are no better than when we lost in Luxembourg, with more damage to our reputation along the way.

28 Oct 2017 07:50:38
Like Lincoln Red Imps has haunted Brendan

28 Oct 2017 07:51:50
Out of Europe at first hurdle 4th in league could drop to 6th if beat on Saturday manager falling out wi players left right and centre publicly slaughtering the team most of whom (HE SIGNED) 8 million spent and you's want to give that clown more time? The guy should never have been a rangers manager in the first place fact

28 Oct 2017 08:06:28
Why are people like peds blaming the fans for PC sacking, it was dave king who came to see for himself and the absolute crazy decisions PC had like banishing players, telling the captain not to attend matches listen tge board see all these things. Maybe the fans played a part but there no reading this sight. Pedz11 are you that boy who got PC name tattoed on you.

27 Oct 2017 10:09:29
I don’t know if there’s any truth in the latest rumour but I have heard David Moyes is scheduled in for a meeting today with the board. Chinese whispers but don’t know how to take this one, what’s everyone’s thoughts!

27 Oct 2017 10:52:39
He did a great job at Everton struggled at Man United but Giggs and co were against him from day 1 he wouldn’t be the worst appointment but for me we have to get McInnes

27 Oct 2017 10:56:27
I know he supported rangers as a boy his dad still does but thought his allegiances were with other side now at 16/ 1 and 20/ 1 on betting sites is it worth a punt

27 Oct 2017 12:58:33
i hope not he isn't the answer

i still think mcinnes should have been in before pedro and should be the front runner for the job this time as i have no doubts he would get mcginn mclean and moult we need these players in our team as we have to get better than the rest then try catch celtic as quickly as possible

27 Oct 2017 13:38:33
i rate mcginn as a player, would love to see him in our midfield. would cost far too much though mate, especially after ginger nuts lumps a couple extra mill on the fee just because its us

27 Oct 2017 15:59:14
No to David Moyes. not good enough

27 Oct 2017 16:25:23
how long has mcginn got on his contract

27 Oct 2017 18:15:39
few years mate. sure he only signed an extension in the last 12 months

27 Oct 2017 18:16:49
Here's a wildcard (first post. ) Jurgen Klinsmann is out of work just now

28 Oct 2017 00:58:40
Doubt it mate. I think we should’ve got mccines in before Pedro but would he even want to come? The way Aberdeen are the now and the state we’re in?!
I think big eck’s been out too long and I don’t want Moyes in. Alan Pardew is out of work the now, don’t know what the deal will be for managers wages or if he would even want to either!

28 Oct 2017 07:53:13
Zero chance of McGinn going to Ibrox. He absolutely detests us.

28 Oct 2017 08:21:24
Mcginn would be some signing, he strong as an ox and is a great runner can see spaces I like the boy.

28 Oct 2017 09:27:35
Moyes did not do well at everton unless you count mid table and no trophy's as "well" .

27 Oct 2017 07:38:42
So I just read alistair johnstones interview there and he said the team will need some tweaking not a major overhaul. Then compared it to what brendan rodgers did at celtic, difference there is they had a settled winning squad when rodgers arrived. Added a couple of £3 million players and made them all better. So they must be bringing watty back as he is the only rangers manager to have performed miracles.

27 Oct 2017 09:16:39
I agree if Walter came back with those players, he'd make them fitter, harder to beat, more aware of where they are what is happening, make them frightened to lose and I think he could win the league with them this year

27 Oct 2017 09:30:48
Fid, you got your wish with pedro, and still your not happy.
Lighten up! Be happy

27 Oct 2017 09:37:00
If we are all perfectly honest the players that Pedro brought in are better than what we had. There is the making of a good team in there. We just need a no nonsense manager who understands that you can't always play attractive free flowing football in Scotland. Sometimes youve got to roll your sleeves you and get stuck in. This is exactly the philosophy that Souness brought to the club in the 80's and we all know what happened next!

27 Oct 2017 09:46:19
why should walter come back and risk his legacy trying to get a tune out that squad he’s done a great job twice for us let the man enjoy his retirement

27 Oct 2017 09:58:19
Would love to see walter smith back till summer and re group with perm manager mcinnes. pardew. be boer michael oneill. etc who ever it is but definitely no billy davies . or get souness in there he soon pin them all against the wall an giv them swift kick in the nat king coles

27 Oct 2017 13:00:49
how long we going to talk about candidates.

28 Oct 2017 07:45:27
I heard Walter wasn't keeping too well so probs not such a good idea to put pressure on him. 're the team- I've said a good few times that I think there is a decent squad there and with a couple of good additions and 2 or 3 going the other way, if the right man comes in we would surprise a few. The main problem was always Pedro and to see some people on here still coming on and defending him is beyond me. For me there is an obvious choice for the new manager. Big Eck won 7 or 8 trophies with us including a treble and all with a limited budget. Also won a trophy in England and did very well as Scotland boss, only falling unluckily at the last hurdle against Italy during a qualification campaign. I'm mystified as to why so many Rangers fans do not want McLeish back.

29 Oct 2017 06:47:20
Personally would hate to see Walter back. He did his time and was an exemplary manager and a true legend for us. And that is exactly how it should remain. He has not been coaching for the best part of a decade and we should be looking forward, not backward. The cold facts are that we need the same caliber of manager as Brenda. Someone with EPL experience, knows the SPL, its players. Has a good track record of bringing through youngsters but will also command respect from our senior players. That makes our options pretty limited. My own ideas would be to look at someone like Mike Phelan/ Paul Bento or Alan Pardew, although I think Pardew really doesn't like Scottish football. Chose Bento because he's Portuguese and unemployed, but has a decent pedigree. Mike Phelan, because you can't be that bad if you were Fergies right hand man right?
