I spoke to mate at the weekend and he was telling me the youth set up at Ibrox could be disbanded very soon.
Loads of boys not getting any regular football and some of the picking up 2k per week, anyone know if this is true

John fleck was our highest paid youth on 1k a week.
So no, that's all rubbish.

Your mate talking total nonsense.first team players like mc kay,mc leod.hegarty, aird won't be earning anywhere near 2k a week.so hard to swallow playersbnot getting a game earning that amount

Cannot be true-the young lads are getting more of a chance now than ever before.

John Fleck was overpaid if he got a grand a week. As would Kevin Kyle, Ian Black & Sandazza who are on much more!

Didn't Green say MP was vastly expensive to operate? Wasn't there looking into options like selling and partial leaseback? Guess this is logical. 37 acres isn't needed. Makes sense.

Who ok'd 5 grand a week for that clown?

I heard the same thing about MP and the cut backs to come there. As for Sandaza Im sure he's not the only one on £5k+ a week. Won't take long to bite into the share issue money paying out that for guys who can't cut it in SFL3. Why did we do that ?

Rangers didnt enter a team in the under 20 league so there will be a lot of young boys in that group not getting a game. t may seem sensible to let them go to develop their careers elsewhere.

Lewis mccloud and barry mckie went 2 school st ninnians in eastwood with my son good friend of my son they all went to malia in the summer they only get 1200 pounds per month so if other young boys get 2 grand a month it a disgrace

Merry Xmas and happy new year to all bears
Anyone heard if we are signing any under 18 talent this window?
I remember reading bout a Russian lad, but not heard anything else. Any news folks?

I'd have a look at a couple of the Queen's Park lads. Connolly and Shankland were fearless as were others. These two are only 17 right now. {The Ed039's Note - The big centre half (forgot his name, number 4), was man of the match by a mile, the keeper was solid and the guy Keenan in the midfield covered every blade of grass. All credit to them, they made it diffifcult and to be fair, at times they passed the ball much better than Rangers did)

Exactly Ed, and most of these are guys we can sign in January or the summer window. We've already proved it with McKay and MacLeod that kids can do the job for us, and these ones at Queens Park prove it too!

Agree that the centre half Little was motm. Reminded me of a Willie Miller type sweeper. Good tackler and intelligent passer and read the game well. Worth a look at I would say. Dandemo.

Think the QP centre back was ricky little, had a brill game. The young winger who came on as a sub looks like he may have something. Unsure of their ages but if under 18 would well worth a punt on both.

The young Russian lad has signed for us mate. He's only 16 or 17 though. My mate Sam Lidington plays for Gers under 16s and he says the wee Russian signed.

Defo agree with the first comment. Those lads Shankland and Little were brilliant for QP. Would take them both at Ibrox!
