Newest rumour on Scott allan is that he is set to terminate his contract if a fee is not accepted for him.

Scott Allan is a decent player I think we should believe when if it happens. Think we need to sort out our defence they where pulled apart yesterday.

He can't terminate his contract without breaking all the rules in Scottish football

It's going to happen this week bet your life on it, all together now.

Gardner, sone aluko bought out his contract at Aberdeen to join us but then again I never see anything posted that's positive from you.

Gardner is a massive hibee. A player can terminate his final year of a contract as of 2 years ago I believe. And his final year is roughly worth only 100k. Would be a shame if we gave him the 100k to do just that.

He's a hibs y would he be positive about Rangers

26 Jul 2015 21:39:07
He didn't buy out his contract, he had already left aberdeen at the time. The money paid was compensation

How was the defence pulled apart they conceded 1 goal from open play and a penalty I wish some people would get a grip on reality there was 7 new players in team there not going to gel after 2 or 3 games

Can remember war burton saying if the other team score we will score 5

Was wondering where mvg is now, the allan bid is looking more certain.

How many chances did hibs miss in first half. Large gaps left in defence.Apparently hibs had a few missing. If Allan had played against us our defence would have split. Its OK saying new players have to gel. professional players getting payed.
They looked like headless chickens in first half

Never heard of a player terminate a contract.if they want to hold him to the contract they can.pointless having a half hearted player tho.hope it happens but still dubious.

Got to take your chances at the end of the day hibs were better for whole 25mins! Like I said got to take your chances We turned it around dramatically! I've no doubt if Rangers are to get better from here, we should have no problem winning the League

Negri - We may well make another bid but all this talk of transfer requests will make no difference. He still won't be coming to Rangers.

If our defense was so bad ask yourself would you rather have had hibs defense

Do you have information, or is this your opinion? You are very 'matter of fact' about this

cannae cancel contract if he did there would be legal action and he could not sign for anyone until case heard by which time he can sign for other clubs

27 Jul 2015 10:52:35
Would u rather have the defence from last 3 years? I agree re passing best football style adopted by rangers side, advocaats team were individually great but no definitive style in my opinion

Fact. Rangers will not get Scott Allan from Hibs.

27 Jul 2015 13:07:56
It would appear that Hibs are in violation of his contract anyway so he can probably do what he likes! Hibs will only damage themselves with all the bullsh1t bravado. when have a team ever benefited from holding a player to randsom!

mvg180 The problem with being so positive about a negative is that if you are correct none of us will thank you and admit you were right all along. However if you are wrong and he does sign - well no Christmas cards from this site.

Even if he doesn't sign now and signs in January we will all remember mvg and gardener saying "he will never play for rangers" . The north remembers lol

Former Rangers midfielder Rhys McCabe has started a trial with Hibs after a spell training with St Johnstone. The 22-year-old was released by Sheffield Wednesday at the end of last season.

Apparently Scott Allan is set to hand in a written transfer request after Hibs reject his verbal request.

According to his representatives Hibs said that when he signed his contract that if a bigger club came along, Hibs wouldn't stand in his way of moving, but now quite obviously, that seems to be happening! Thoughts?

Considering Hibs finished above you last year in the lower leagues of Scottish football. How does that make you a bigger club?

Agree6 Disagree9

26 Jul 2015 11:23:41
Just read that piece myself there. If it's true then it forces Hibs' hand and they then just agree a few I suppose. My thoughts on the piece itself are that it is probably more reliable than some of the "facts" we read on here, so all in all, good news! Rangers player in the next few days it would seem.

Tompo,
A stupid question like that deserves a stupid answer, because it does, right!

26 Jul 2015 11:50:25
League position doesn't equal size of the club, if you know anything about football, taking everything into account rangers are a much bigger club than hibs. this is coming from a hearts fan and before you say it, yes they're also a bigger club than hearts.

Agree8 Disagree2

26 Jul 2015 12:02:46
Ok we have a bigger fan base and ground compered to his so would say that makes us a bigger club

26 Jul 2015 12:10:45
Tompo because Maribor beat Celtic last season doesn't make them a bigger club than Celtic.

26 Jul 2015 12:23:08
Just be careful what you wish for as Scott Allan is well known for being a player who believes his own hype and is always looking for the next best thing. He pretty much forced his way out of Dundee Utd and is now doing the same at Hibs, what do you think he will do at Rangers if he gets any indication that an English team is interested in him? I hope that's not the case though.

Agree4 Disagree4

26 Jul 2015 17:27:00
If he gets his move to us and plays well enough to earn a move to epl or somewhere better then good on him. If he is still under contract rangers will make a profit just like hibs who got him for free? don't see the issue here.

Agree4 Disagree0

26 Jul 2015 19:17:48
Well, quite obviously in SA's eyes, Rangers are a bigger club, and Hibs know it too, the stubborness of Stubbs and Dempster throughout this whole saga is going to look VERY silly because now it seems more and more likely that SA will sign after all of these adamant public statements that he wouldn't.

So last years disastrous Euro run by Thelic. Are the two teams that gubbed them bigger than Thelic cause they got further than you lot. Rangers are at present the second biggest club in Scotland and Timmy all your ridiculous and stupid statements are quite childish .Not even funny any more.
