Pedro plans a scoop for Kenny Mclean.

27 Apr 2017 12:54:12
Read an interview Kenny Maclean done when he was with st mirren about rangers. He came across like he held a grudge cause we let him go.

28 Apr 2017 10:04:07
not good enough for me we should be looking at better than him.

imo we have better than him

26 Apr 2017 23:30:26
My sauce told me that Pedro has a list of players from Qatar he is interested in adding to the squad to create a goal scoring option and stronger for Europe. And also told me that Pedro would love to bring Xavi for Qatar, but would not be able to afford his wages. But these might be the guys he is looking at:

Youssef El-Arabi
Romarinho
Vladimir Weiss
Nam Tae-hee.

27 Apr 2017 00:17:20
Is it tomato?

27 Apr 2017 10:21:16
his sauce is . the bevvy methinks

27 Apr 2017 10:23:29
Aye my pal spoke to Xavi's dog walker last week who said he's itching at the chance of teaming up with Andy Halliday. Apparently the fact that Asda is right next to Ibrox is a deal breaker because he's a huge fan of Asda branded frozen paella.

27 Apr 2017 11:00:10
Broon or tomatty?

27 Apr 2017 11:02:09
He's talking brown sauce. Xavi pmsl

27 Apr 2017 06:11:14
I really have mixed views about signing anyone from Qatar. Most Eu players went there for easy street and big tax free wages (no ironic puns please) . My point is even someone on the equivalent of 10 or 20k is going to loose half of that if we wage match in just tax.

A lack of ambition and greed would be my main objection to signing anyone from there. Maybe Weiss and the godson could come back for the emotional connection but very sceptical on why any others would want to.

Scottish football is probably not even a step up lol

27 Apr 2017 12:56:48
no, it's all true he is looking for players he knows and can score goals.

26 Apr 2017 16:00:25
The s*n reporting Lafferty wants a return to rangers .

26 Apr 2017 18:11:51
Right now as we speak, i would have him back. he's finally grown balls and grew up much better than garner and waghorn without doubt. he turns up for big games and has a knack getting a few goals in those games, but will never ever forget the way half of them left when we were on death's bed.

i would even take mcgregor, naismith, whittaker and of course mr ulster man himself steven davis back if we had a chance. at least those players know how to beat and batter that lot across the road. remember 1 thing before we got kicked out the spl, remember it was rangers who were top dogs on 3 in a row and those glory days will be back 100% sure.

26 Apr 2017 19:28:40
I would take him back on a one year deal with a two year option

26 Apr 2017 20:21:04
Wouldn't have him anywhere near the club. Deserted us and it's strange he only wants back when his career has stalled and he hardly plays

26 Apr 2017 20:37:48
Wouldn't have any of those ones back, never.

26 Apr 2017 20:15:13
First of all i'm absolutely delighted that rangers are going to offer kenny miller a new contract! Imo, thoroughly deserved and here's why! Kenny miller is a total thoroughbred and great professional, who could put players 10 years younger than him, to shame!

For any young striker at rangers, or any other player for that matter, kenny is the perfect role model to look up to! Even if kenny doesn't start or play as much for us next season he's there and can be totally relied on! As well as his experience as a rangers striker, he's also there to help players that we're going to sign this summer, settle in, to what's expected as a rangers player!

As for kyle lafferty he's everything that kenny isn't, ie. unprofessional and only cares about himself! He's a bad influence and terrible role model! I hope to god we don't go near this waster, he's no good! He made his bed and he can lie in it! No thanks, i don't want kyle lafferty anywhere near glasgow rangers! The guy's a bad apple 100%!

26 Apr 2017 22:06:35
Can't believe the short sighted s**** on here at times. If u want to hold on to petty grudges about things that happened 5 years ago, u watch Celtic lifting 10 in a row from your sofa. On the other hand I will happily take any player who is better than what we have currently, and every player mentioned above would improve our team no doubt.

26 Apr 2017 22:28:34
I wouldant want that dud lafferty anywere near us. Got Nothing to do with what happened 5years ago just down to the fact that he is a terrible player

26 Apr 2017 23:08:24
Ok Bear2306. If Craig Whyte or Chuckles turned up offering a genuine 30m investment in the club would you take it? No grudges and all that.

26 Apr 2017 23:04:31
Kicked out the SPL? When did that happen?

26 Apr 2017 22:28:25
@bear2306 - so the above mentioned would stop 10 in a row? So in 4 years time:
Lafferty will be 34
McGregor will be 39
Naismith will be 35
Whittaker will be 37

I would much rather take a couple of years of hurt and build a team for the future rather than this quick fix nonsense of wasting money on players who don't even deserve a second chance at Rangers.

26 Apr 2017 23:15:44
joey barton wants back too - I'll bet ye he does.

27 Apr 2017 00:21:07
I am suprised at the lack of foresite fellow bears have.
Harking in about having Steven Davis back?
Kyle laugherty?

Where's the passion?

A team full of experience against a Celtic side like that is pointless

I fear rangers will hit some more financial stumbling blocks shortly - and how where is money coming from tostrengtgen this squad?

Who's paying to repair ibrox also? If something was to fall from that stadium onto a fan.

That could be it for us. I believe that.

27 apr 2017 13:18:20
steven davis and naisy are two i just couldn't say no to, for the simple fact that they are much much much much much much better than what we have and/ or could afford

27 Apr 2017 22:42:14
Davis done nothing wrong we got money for him Naismith is a no-go ever

27 Apr 2017 23:13:42
Barry Middleton, never mind deathbed it was a coffin and its 6 feet under 😂

28 Apr 2017 00:26:45
Bear are u seriously for real? I have two memories of laugherty. (i deliberately misspelt his name) . Firstly he is a loose cannon andwould danger the team. Everytime he was picked i doubted we would finish with 11. Secondly, sure he scored title clinchers but they tended to be his first goals in months. If memory serves me correctly his record v celtic is level with little and Boyd

26 Apr 2017 09:45:11
Former player Kyle Lafferty says he would jump at the chance to rejoin rangers

26 Apr 2017 10:35:20
Not this rubbish again.

26 Apr 2017 10:37:40
So he keeps saying, we need better than a player who struggles for form all season until the last 4 or 5 games.

26 Apr 2017 12:02:34
Id take Lafferty back in a sec, put all the rubbish to 1 side for a moment abt what was said and done 5yr ago, he's far better than what we've got and same goes for Naismith. Rangers being successful means more to me than anything and in signing these 2,i think that would be a start. they also know what it takes to be a winner

26 Apr 2017 12:23:54
Agree with you completely jls, miles better than both garner and waghorn, and to get on a free would be good, as long as his wage demands weren't too high

26 Apr 2017 12:52:55
He's available on a free and to be honest he's record up here speaks for itself and he's improved his game since he was last at Rangers albeit playing with better players around him.

if we manage to get 1.5 million between selling Garner and Waghorn then i'd definitely be in favor of taking on lafferty on a free with another striker/ attacker to come in obviously of better quality than the 2 we are selling, personal choice again would be Weiss!

Waggy scored for fun last year but again its safe to say that was his level, Lafferty has proved he can score in the SPL and at the most crucical times of the season as well!

26 Apr 2017 12:54:57
Its 4 or 5 good games more than Waghorn and Garner give us

26 Apr 2017 13:41:59
No chance of getting Naismith glad after all the sevco pish he spouted at that press conference that I can't forgive

26 Apr 2017 13:53:37
I would happily take these two back. If they want to show the fans they regret what happened then sign a contract worth 2k a week! Play for the jersey not the money. that will show how much they want to come back!

26 Apr 2017 14:22:02
honestly, i am fed up hearing about the old days.
id take naismith back and without hesitation alan mcgregor.
both are international level players, and without shadow of a doubt better than our current championship team.
if they want to come back and we can offer a wage that works for both party, then why not?
someone on here said before - these guys don't have 40 or 50 year careers, and if someone can't guarantee that they will be working or paid next month then i'd be on my out the door too. yeah some things were said in the heat of the moment - but we've all done that.
we need all the help we can get - building a team on the park that can challenge rivals. they did it before, heres hoping they would like to do it again.

26 Apr 2017 15:36:10
Lafferty is by no means a great player but when compared to Waghorn and Garner i'd still rather have him

26 Apr 2017 15:46:35
course he would but we need better than him he is an awfull player and was a disgrace to the badge the last time.
i don't care he left when he did i don't blame anyone for that but laffetry is mince

26 Apr 2017 15:49:34
He wasnt one of the 28 who ran away and he would be better than we have provided he is fit.

26 Apr 2017 15:53:08
He's better than garner and waghorn but that doesn't mean we should sign him. Apart from his northern ireland record his goal record is rubbish. He only wants to come back now we've done the hard bit and got through the divisions. I'd maybe just have naismith back, and would like dorrans. The only two norwich players we should be targeting

26 Apr 2017 16:05:35
course he would but we need better than him he is an awfull player and was a disgrace to the badge the last time.
i don't care he left when he did i don't blame anyone for that but laffetry is mince

26 Apr 2017 16:06:34
He wasnt one of the 28 who ran away and he woild be better than we have provided he is fit.

26 Apr 2017 16:09:38
How no chance on getting naismith? Some people have claimed it's already a done deal? So what makes you so certain?

26 Apr 2017 16:11:10
Marty, do you not think it is a backward step taking players who will not have a sell on value, but will command sizeable wages? That was the problem under Murray, for the most part at least. Personally, I would prefer to develop players and hopefully sell on with a decent profit.

26 Apr 2017 16:28:50
We need someone who is fast and can find the net, our strikers are as slow as a week in the jail 😂

26 Apr 2017 16:44:41
Cuillin,
I don't think it is - maybe if all we do is sign 30 year old players then yeah, but experience is essetnial on and off the park - especially for bringing the youngsters on. if i was a young rangers player and i thought that i could be lining up on the team sheet besides the likes of naismith, or mcgregor, or bougherra, or whoever - i'd be excited and wanting to show what i can do, praise from people like (people they used to support and idolise) that brings confidence. if they were gona be your team mate. i'd play out my skin for that chance - that's the fight we need.

27 Apr 2017 13:22:28
i would like to say to all you haters of all the people that left 5 years ago when they had little choice about it i wouldn't stay at my job for 25 percent of what i'm earning just now and i love my job .

most of you lot sing about king kenny but are quick to forget about him kissing the celtic badge when he scored against us and can forgive all of that but draw the line at people not taking a wage cut and playing their best years in the bottom of scottish football.

p.s. i don't care that kenny did that either just putting it out there to all the people out there that think that way.

27 Apr 2017 17:37:49
Certainly Naismith has 2 years left on his contract would cost too much I don't want him anywhere old days it was only 5 year ago he started sevco pish

26 Apr 2017 01:00:57
Kenny Miller close to contract extension according to the daily record.

26 Apr 2017 15:47:05
should be captain for the remainder of the season

26 Apr 2017 16:48:34
Can't blame Caixinha for taking his time with Miller's Contract, when he came he knew that finances were tight.

Anyone coming in that did not know the SPFL and our past performances etc would have looked at the squad and straight away seen we had 2 players nearing 40; one a striker who is not really heard of and on top of that our football is deemed as being a lot faster than continental football.

Players at that age are again usually still performing but either in goals or defenders. Caixinha could and would have been looking at the possibility of bringing in a younger player for the same wages.

I think absolutely any Manager would have had the same mindset and he have himself and Miller as much time as possible to make his decision.

I think the fact he not only has been showing his fitness and ability on the pitch but his presence and knowledge of the game and the Club are invaluable.

I also read that it costs around 100k to put someone through their Coaching Badges and I hope that Rangers have told Miller that this is on the cards, I do not know if Miller has already undertook some of these Courses but I have a feeling he has.

Its something that I would line to know and if any Bears out there know if Miller has begun these Badges let me know its stuff like this that interests me. I read that the His deal included putting Miller through his Coaching Badges so I we think we will do the same yeah?

26 Apr 2017 00:59:46
Miller to be offered a new 1 year deal.
