BDO have not liquidated oldco becuase in bizarre turn of events HMRC will find no case to answer and Green will sell back shares to Oldco -history will be maintained and SPL membership will be applied for just after xmas - expect Gers to be in SPL next years

The oldco is in admin. BDO haven't began to liquidate. Also it was the unpaid NIC and PAYE that was the death knell. go back to sleep.

So who will be relegated from the SPL to allow this scenario to happen ? Will there be 2 relegations ? Dont think so somehow.

Why would you post this nonsense? Annon rubbish as usual.

Why do people find this so unbelievable? We were told waaaaaaay back in October last year that it would be done and dusted in a couple of weeks...then another couple of weeks...then another month or two, and here we are almost a YEAR LATER and still nothing!!
HMRC are on to plums with this one. The judges have to consider the ramifications of this as HMRC WILL go after the top EPL clubs resulting in job losses and companys liquidated if this 'test case' against Rangers goes in HMRCs favour.
Remember, there has already been three other cases like Rangers one and they have all been found in favour of the companys...NOT HMRC!!!
I know this will fly in the face of fans of 'other' clubs(one in particular) but who cares??? Perhaps now the witch hunt may stop????

This is nonsense. HMRC are owed ~£20million in unpaid tax,NICs and VAT from Last year. That alone is sufficuent to put you under.

Oh and where did we get this inside info? cant see it being true but would love it.

HMRC didn't accept the CVA against Craig Whytes non payment of Paye, national insurance, vat and proven accepted small tax case.
The result of FTTT will not change liquidation.

Why do people like you come on here and post utter rubbish?
Clown!

lets hope it is true

Don't think so. Craig whyte caused the admin and liquidation . From 2011 til 2012. For failure to pay tax and ni.

I said something along these lines a couple of weeks back. I know Celtic fans will hate laugh and ridicule this idea but why it makes perfect sense to do this if rangers are found not guilty. Rangers were put into admin because of unpaid tax and Ni this is true but admin was not the reason we were put into div three liquidation was because our cva was knocked back. Now just say rangers are cleared and our debt is 20mil instead of140 mil I think that could be solved. In my opion I think green has a pretty good clue that things might go in rangers favour and if so this is when he will issue the shares offer imagine the amount rangers fans would be willing to put in under these circumstances. As to the poster who asked who would be relegated no one the league will be reconstructed to a 16 team league. I know it's a long shot right now but I really am beginning to see this as a realistic outcome to this nonsense

"This is nonsense. HMRC are owed ~£20million in unpaid tax,NICs and VAT from Last year. That alone is sufficuent to put you under."

Yet Heart of Midlothian are £24 million in debt yet they still operate...they cant pay their players....yet they still operate AND have no sanctions against them.

Absolute b0llocks, for a start we gave up our spl spot to go into div 3, whos going to be relegated to let us back into the SPl? Who even wants back in anyway? We are where are are and we'll make our way back to the top in time. Stop with the stpid stories, fed up with it all!!

Remember Bill Miller's idea of an incubator company?????????

Oh my god some people are so thick, forget the big tax case , oldco Rangers under Whyte owed over 30 million in footballing debts and unpaid tax, NI and PAYE , this alone finished the club, Duffer and Duffer( remember them!) are simply delaying because as soon as BDO open up the books and the files expect criminal charges and civil law suits agains Murray and Whyte and also questions over Duffer and Duffer's conflict of interests, this will run and run but oldco Rangers won't, get behind the Rangers in Div 3

Frustrated bear

Big difference in being in debt and struggling to pay bills ( which Hearts have , late in dome cases but eventually) , whereas Rangers ( under Whyte) were in debt but didn't pay anybody, HMRC, football clubs, the paperboy. The oldco will eventually die

P.s are all the guys who walked away coming back?

Hearts owe £24 millon to Romanov. Why would he put them into liquidation?

Rangers total debt was over £50million not including the big tax case.

The oldco rangers debt ain't 50 mil it's closer to 20mil so to all Celtic fans and rangers fans without any imagination what would you lot think would happen if rangers were to be cleared or is that just to much for you to contemplate. And under the circumstances of rangers being cleared and then green offering the shares venture how much do you think could be raised. And if cleared what kind of compo do you think rangers should receive as they would have been wrongly persecuted. I know this would be to much for you lot to bear but please try and give senseable answers

We were 18m in debt, add the 14m from tax/paye to that, and no champ league last season would prob sit debt at around 35/40m

Well heres one guys that are on here that are anti newco i hate the wording.
rangers will be admonished of all fault by hmrc as murray has handed all doc on the ebt contracts to them not spl i wonder why , the farce is spl are trying to jump on this coat tail and will wait for that statement from hmrc before they say anything cause they dont want another embarrassment.
on the issue of hearts not paying players did we ever hear of this coming from our team with all the issues of debt etc never once until mr whyte used our money to pay ticketus and then pumped us in administration so i would say we were fine till this impostor took over...
fact not fiction guys

Complete load of goons!!
we were put into administration because craig whyte didnt pay any tax that was deducted from players wages. he had already cleared off the 18m debt with lloyds.

the old business will not be coming back! why would hmrc allow us back when we would still owe them that money? lets just concentrate on getting the team playing to their ability and put all this behind us.

If that's what you think pal then good for you. Keep thinking it if it keeps you warm at night....but let's wait and see what really happems.

I promise I wont come back and say "I told you so", I may have a private snigger though...

Only fools,Fawlty Towers,Porridge,genius comedy classics,but this beats the lot,cheers.absolute comedy,genius.

Spl panel wont announce anything on ebt till hmrc do as it will be a total show of how corrupted this so called crown of scottish football is. if they do then punnish then what a state that would be to take that back i see the death of spl....

Last post does have a point. Ogalvie must have known this was going on and also received payments from Oldco while SFA president. Who else in the SFA received payment? It is possible that UEFA will expell the SFA if it shown to have colluded with Oldco in perpetrating a tax fraud and in allowing Oldco to play in Europe without audited accounts.

The Net effect of that could result in the SPL and SFL having no football association and having to associate with the English FA. This would mean no Scotland team and possible the chance for Scottish teams to promoted into the English League.

This is not what I think will happen, but it is possible.

Utter Rubbish! Even if it was the case, why would we want to leave the newco which has 0 debt! Oldco has debt to Ticketus and the rest! Sack that! The history and name has been moved to the newco so forget the oldco!

Look the bottom line is whilst the oldco is still there anything can happen no matter how bizarre it seems. And to the poster who asks why we would want to go back to oldco if possible doesn't know the answer to that then he/she ain't no rangers fan.

"The history and name has been moved to the newco so forget the oldco!"

No it hasn't. As Charles Green said publicly last week "We have never been in the SPL" because he is quite correct, newco rangers have no history. And never forget Oldco because that is where all the history is, all the memories.

Sigh..................................

HMRC recognise that the history, trophys, crest, livery etc have all transferred to newco.....Lord Nimmo Smith recognises the same....the only ones who dont are thick football fans that 'think' they are know it alls when, infact, they are nothing but barrack-room lawyers and tin-foil tax accountants.

54 and STILL counting..........

GET USED TO IT!!!!!!!!!!

HMRC do not have anything to do with Rangers history. The only reason why Rangers history is intact at this moment is because BDO have not started the liquidation process yet. I wouldn't trust everything Greeny says.

He has not transferred everything over as some of you may believe. Once Rangers are liquidated everything associated with it will cease.

HMRC have said nothing on this matter to date.where did you see this and as for Lord
Nimmo Smith this is only Green's interpretation and he is wrong FACTS

No space in SPL. Next

"HMRC have said nothing on this matter to date.where did you see this and as for Lord
Nimmo Smith this is only Green's interpretation and he is wrong FACTS"

Here is a link to the HMRC statement....EASILY found on google...

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/news/rangers.htm

Read it...especially the bit saying "Liquidation will enable a sale of the football assets to be made to a new company".

I know this hurts the haters, but there is is....FACT posted for you that all the FOOTBALL ASSETS (trophys etc) are transferred.

As for 'interpreting' Lord Nimmo Smiths findings, i think Mr Green is savvy enough not to make an a** of that.

Face it...we are here to stay and we are STILL The Worlds Most Successful Club...FACT!!

Hopefully this will put to bed for once and for all the MYTH that Rangers have no history!

This all came about after Giovanni di stefano bought a share in oldco and said as a share holder he would fight to keep oldco alive, he also said he would be turning up at the spl hearing. True or not I dont know just saying.
