I want to say a massive well done to the whole team today, 75% wage cuts but 110% effort, thats what being a Ranger is all about. Potential bidders, step up, this is the worlds greatest club and you would be lucky to be part of it.

Double D

Believable40 Unbelievable29

Never a true word said watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolutely correct but lets hope the bidders haven't been watching the last 3 or 4 games. about time these high earners starting pulling their weight EVERY week.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sat a few rows behind Brian Kennedy and Souness today, Kennedy looked as though he thoroughly enjoyed the experience.A good advert for all potential new owners.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic fan here. well done today lads, you wanted it more. glad everyone stayed safe today. have a good night lads and lassies

Agree0 Disagree0

Brian Kennedy wont touch the club now after the ticketus malarky, but hope today changed his mind!

Agree0 Disagree0

Was the referee on full wages today, once again his true colours shone through

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair play to the Celtic fan above to come on and congratulate the Gers today, wish more of your fans would be man enough to do the same, cheers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow, unbelievable. The old referee excuse is trotted out. Always cheated never defeated. How very sad. To the Celtic fan who offered congrats. Thanks very much for being a man about it, and congratulations on your league sucess, the best team won over the course of the season the 10pt deduction was irrelevant

Agree0 Disagree0

True true always cheated never defeated. I found lennons dummy on the way home. I'll send it over ASAP.

Well played to the Celtic fan coming out n saying well played.

This season has been surrounded in turmoil. The players n staff have been distracted by the uncertainty surrounding Craig whyte for most of this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great game today and great crowd! Thanks to the Celtic fan also who took time to congratulate our team. The world wouldn't be as bad a place if more people could be the same!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said celtic fan even though we won today good on you

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done to the team and Ally.Brilliant to see Ally in the tunnel shaking every Celtic players hand at the end of the game. Meanwhile Bitter Lemmon is ranting and raving to anyone who'll listen. For G*d sake just take one defeat with b***dy dignity. As with previous posters thanks to the Celtic supporter for his good wishes. Enjoy your party when you get it but it was never gonna happen here!

Agree0 Disagree0

Referee was bad around smaller decisions but 3 sending offs were stonewallers. Congrats to rangers they were the better team on the day, loved the late comeback.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done to Ally and the lads. Coisty even shook the hand of all the Celtic players as they left the pitch. Pity Lennon's behaviour soured everything-AGAIN. RP

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree double d,but why havent they been playing like that recently, and why is everyone making the excuse that celtic will only win the league because Rangers are in admin,or that Ally is under so much pressure this year, good result YES,but just papering over the cracks, and Ally was under the most pressure he has been all year to win.

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I the only one a bit deflated that we did not win by 4 or 5 when we had them on the ropes and big gaps all over the pitch to exploit?

Agree0 Disagree0

I also fear that this will buy Ally more time. I just hope that whoever takes over will bring in their own man as the reason we have done so badly this season is down to Allys inability first and foremost - to hold onto him for next season I fear would guarantee that we are looking at another season without a trophy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree that Ally is not the man for the job. Any manager would have been expected to win against 9 men. Yes we played some nice football but where has it been all season. Lets remember he threw away a 15 point lead. Even with the deduction for administration we could have won this title! Sorry Ally, love you as a player but you are not what we need.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aluko today the only diffrence between the clubs, without him it would have been a boring 0.0 ,W.W.T.P.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aluko comment biggest load of pish av read on here for a good while, did u not watch the game son? 8 or 9 of our players played an absolute amazing game and without aluko we scored 2 goals :S

Have I missed something watched SUPERALLY interview with david tanner when I got back from game & tanner said it looks like you will be taken over this week
NTYABOW

Believable18 Unbelievable28

Think a lot will happen this week Rangers and Craig Whyte to face sfa on 29th March Its also getting near 31st March when accounts must be shown so I think if there is a buyer it should be public knowledge soon

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally was asked the question. So are you ruling out Europe then, A big smile came over Ally's face as he said i'm ruling out nothing.

Agree0 Disagree0

My fellow fans, you really do hear the bits you like. The question was would you like the club to be bought over this week and Ally's answer was 'ideally yes'. Tanner then asked Ally if he thought European football was a possibility for next season, his response was, I'm ruling out nothing but its looks very remote.

Agree0 Disagree0

No europe. end off. stop reading daily record and lamb eating traynor.

Agree0 Disagree0

And what exactly are ur lot gonna achieve in europe other than complete humiliation.

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont make Europe this season. Let The east end lot have there couple of games, they will be out in the first round anyway. I for one will be glad to see Motherwell in Europe, a small thankyou for beating that lot a few seasons ago to help us win the league

Agree0 Disagree0

I take it the guy who asked "exactly what are our lot gonna achieve in europe other than complete humiliation" is a celtic fan, if so he might want to ask the same question of his lot as they were destroyed yesterday the 3-2 scoreline flattered yous, and your talking about complete humiliation, your team are rank rotten no better than rangers so shut up and take a look at your mob.

After playing the old firm in warm weather, I feel its time for summer football great having bit of sun on your Back while watching football, anyone agree for summer football?

Believable82 Unbelievable14

Let's just concern ourselves with having a club to go and watch this summer ....... Big Dave

Agree0 Disagree0

A hope not imagine sitting about the full winter with no football would be dreadful and the winter would drag in

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets run it by peter Lawwel first and see what he thinks.

Agree0 Disagree0

We would be sitting about most of the winter anyway with frozen pitches ,bad access to grounds , outlying roads with no access try living in newton mearns and east kilbride in winter and youll see what i mean yes we dont need our blue noses any bluer my last winter game was at hampden against heart when barry and claude scored and i made my mind up never again guys half my age were leaving cos of the cold

Agree0 Disagree0

When is summer in Scotland though? Usually nice April/May then pees down for June & July. I like winter football. December & January would be torched with no football. And agreed lets have a club to follow come this August!

Agree0 Disagree0

Peter Lawwell has looked at all these issues and options and permutations and knows what he's talking about. He's a successful CEO of a well managed club and an SFA executive.
The problem with summer football for the old firm is that the Champions league is through winter do there will be no close season for our squads. The players will be playing 12 months of the year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is a non starter what happens when there's a euros or world cup? Just pay the wages of players who are away representing there countries? Another silly idea. Keep football as it is.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, cheaper for smaller clubs ie less use of flood lights and heating, also the standard of games is not usually altered. remember we played hamilton a few winters ago in extreme wind?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we played during the the time englang finish their season we might be able to negotiate a better deal from sky,,also it would help with out attempts at playing in Europe,,so I say yes its time for a change

Agree0 Disagree0

No close season for players... so what.... clashes with world cup etc... so what. summer football would have more benefits. and true, perhaps sky may have more of an interest in our game. as for players being away for.the world cup.... behave... the current scottish team has no chance of qualifying and the players from other countries who are regulars for their country are few and the way things are going there will be fewer next season. scottish football is dying a slow and painful death. we need to make radical changes. 16 team league and an old firm charity shield.game to show boat our game at the start of every season. All league games should be arranged re arranged around club matches in europe. clubs should be given awards for fielding the most scottish players... our game needa to change now!
Watp

Agree0 Disagree0

Clubs already pay wages of players on int duty

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd like to see a six a side indoor tourney
In the winter & hav it travel around all the
Big indoor veniews like a carnival of football
To try and promote some kind of tolerance for mixing with other fans & havin a laugh.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring back the Tenants Sixes haha!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm in perth oz and the difference playing and watching football out here is massive .
We go to games with shorts and tee shirts on , drink cold beer and have a good night out .
I would hate to sit at Ibrox again in the freezing cold ..brrrrrrrrrr

Well done to, Aluko, McGregor and McCoist got it spot on, but the best on the park was McCabe, a wee diamond. Also well done to both sets of fans today for showing the world what an atmosphere at a football match should be.....

Believable50 Unbelievable9

Celtic fan in peace ! i also thought mcabe was outstanding today hope you keep hold of him

Agree0 Disagree0

Spend the afternoon watching the off firm game with my best mate a tic... Thought all the cards were bogus. Yellows at best. Mcabe

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers deserved win today no doubt but congratulations to celtic winning the league nice touch by ally mcoist shaking celtic players hands at full time rangers and celtic fans were fantastic today well done both sets of fans

Agree0 Disagree0

Young McCabe 100% star.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor refereeing, rangers deserved winners but officials got big decisions wrong!

Agree0 Disagree0

Stokes snubed mccoist at the end along with another player will see tonite on sportscene who but very dissappointing . ally a class act tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Wot decisions? last man 2 footed tackle or browns persistant fouling n decent

Agree0 Disagree0

Wot decisions? Even ally said he would have been disappointed had it been one of his players seeing red for the Wynama tackle. The second goal was offside before little put it in. The first sending off was soft as he was not heading straight for goal and there was minimal contact. And I said poor refereeing, which included decisions against rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant agree with man of the match. Lee McCulloch might not be everyone's favourite, but he was immense today . Also first to step up and say he would play for nothing. He knows what a blue jersey is all about. Well done today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would u shake hands! 4 tv?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally knew exactly what he was doing. he is far too cute for lemon and helped show him up even more.

Agree0 Disagree0

There was minimal contact with bocanegras challenge on Samaras also. I think the big greek hairdresser went down way too easy

quabba

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic, always cheated, never defeated. Don't know who came up with this phrase first, they hit the nail on the head for Lennon's Celtic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good game,
fantastic atmosphere,
fair result,
but amateurish refereeing.

enjoyed it despite losing

celtic fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Another Celtic fan in peace. Well done to Rangers, the better team won the game.

I didnt think Cha deserved to walk but fair play to the referee, tough call to make. Wanyama should know better, both feet off the ground=red regardless of how clean the tackle is.

Sammy didnt go down as easy as wallace did quabba!

Well done to young McCabe, looked a player.

With 5 bidders when will d+p decide read today they would draw up a shortlist this week , do they pick two or three then look at those bids , thus process just seems to be dragging on with d+p making a fortune, when will we get an answer?

Believable25 Unbelievable7

D & P only get paid from the pot that creditors get paid from and has to be approved by the creditors

Agree0 Disagree0

There will be no takeover, wake up son. Liquidation will happen soon after the big tax bill hits.

Agree0 Disagree0

D&P pay themselves first. If there's no cash left to pay them then it's auto liquidation.

Agree0 Disagree0

BTC another unanswered question! Nobody is telling the fans what is going on, its all a big unfunny joke

Agree0 Disagree0

"D & P only get paid from the pot that creditors get paid from and has to be approved by the creditors"
--

Thats not true, the Ł1M savings that had to be made included Ł400k per month administration costs. It is illegal for the administrators to run the club at a loss. So if there is not enough money to pay the administrators the club goes into liquidation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct (above). It's not unusual for administrators/liquidators to drag things out (Farepak anyone?) but if HMRC are on the ball they will look for a swift conclusion. Unfortunately that means liquidation more likely than a buy-out, which will likely be riddled with unacceptable (to HMRC) provisos.

McCabe played well today. His range of passing is something we have missed. Remembers me of a bit lLike barry ferguson.

Believable36 Unbelievable9

That has to be completly unbelievable as Barry only ever passed backwards or to the side! McCabe was playing forward passes!

Agree0 Disagree0

Said last week he should be in b4 edu wee mans the future liked his freekick think they call that a googly in cricket

Agree0 Disagree0

PS hes better than barry for the record n thats a big statement

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of you have forgotten how good BF was. What a talent! Was given too much responsibility before he had fully developed. Badly mentored by Advocat, too much too young.

Agree0 Disagree0

Barry was a great player but was he better than gattuso? Because advocaat had assembled a team of foreign players he wanted to keep a couple of scots in there, so he gave barry the centre mid role and shunted gattuso to right back, worst decision ever by a rangers manager in my opinion. We wanted to build a team to compete in europe with advocaat in charge and sold a player for buttons who had the class to win european cups and world cups. Great move dick

Agree0 Disagree0

BF is a gers legend, think the poster criticising him is a Tic fan. Must be.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Mar 2012 16:41:06
Having had reservations about allys ability in quite a few games this season, i think he should take a bow for a masterclass in tactical set up today, after everything he has had to endure in the past month he got it spot on 100 percent, greegs, mcabe, mculloch outstanding and a word for whitty who hasnt kicked a ball in ernest for 3 months, he was a yard short today but used his head superbly(thats what happens when you play with davie weir for 4 years.) and again i would rather have ally than a classless individual who cant conrtol himself or his players. watp.

Believable36 Unbelievable17

Was listening to the game, and thought big Jig was fighting for everything.Must admit im not a big fan of Jig,but what he has done for rangers shouldnt be forgotten. He'll play anywhere for Rangers and he'd even play for free as he has said.True loyal Rangers man.Well done Jig.From a very happy bluenose stuck working in the middle of Australia.WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to admit Murray gave some dubious decisions first half. Can see why that manager took issue actually.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done 'Jig', and 'Whispering Sally'..... down to 18 points now!

Agree0 Disagree0

I have been big lees harshest critic since wee signed him.but i am in absolute awe of the big man.wants to play for nothing, plays anywhere and doesnt complain.outstanding today.you are up there with gazza, laaudrup, gough and greig.thanks big man a true legend.big colin

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye having 12 players on the park really suited mccoist

Agree0 Disagree0

Go away. always cheated never defeated. celtic didn't even get going til 85 mins. anyone who watched the game will tell you it was so one sided it was unreal. one team wanted to attack and win. one team wanted to sit deep and maybe grab a winner . celtic will win the league and deservedly so but today the best team won the day. easy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm hot & cold with big Jig, but today he showed his class. The guy play's for the jersey, easily MOTM, and deserved.

I posted last night that Celtic don't show up for the big ocassion's, last weekend's final & this weekend's derby. They don't have the bottle. Well done Ally and the team. WATP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye having 12 players on the park really suited mccoist
-------------
Always an excuse with your sorry lot, dont have the CLASS to be true champions!!!!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I have got to say that i have been very critical about ally in the last few months but he got it 100% correct today tactically, could this have been the making of the man, absolutely tremendous performance against what has been all season a poor celtic team apart from the last 5 minutes, if a prospective purchaser was watching today and they have the money needed, this was the perfect show, professional, kept the heads, showed class in face of all the negativity, every player today deserves the plaudits, mcculloch was superb in that position, young mccabe was terrific, great job all round rangers when it was needed ! WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Good point...tho always helps when the ref is a cheat.

Agree0 Disagree0

The refs a cheat is that u lennon ?? this is the same cheat that sent off whittaker , bougy and douif last season and fourth official who was soley responsible for home defeat to killie so to call them cheats is rediculous. letter of the law tgey were all reds

Agree0 Disagree0

1 team wanted to attack and win thats easy when playing against 9 men?See when ye get pulled from behind do ye not fall backwards?Ye lost 2 goals in 5 mins 2nd goal offside and shagger yer fans man of the match on ff,s!Get a grip yer govan utd no barca...yer lucky ref wis bad and celtic never played well...all be forgotten nxt week and hide and seek champions will be nowhere to be seen again lol

Agree0 Disagree0

The scoreline flatterd sellick,Rangers lost concentration in the last 5 mins thats why we conceded 2 goals.Away yous go and look up kerryfailstreet.com or celticconspiracy.com.Stay off our forum ya numpty!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bollox. For most of the game we were up against 9 men and should have pumped them by 5 or 6 goals. Trust me when I say that if we were down to 9 men they would have destroyed us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yer team were ran for the whole game by a youth player, so rather than come on the wrong site posting things about us havin 12 players cos the ref is a cheat, go and ask yourself why the champions in waiting were beaten so easily, simple as that ya we cretin yous were ruled and made our bitches for an hour and a half, and yer manager has no class at all, but your happy having a we ned as yer manager cos it sums up everything about yer club. You might be about to win the title but yous were showed up for what you really are and thats a mediocre team that wiil get absolutely humped in europe and i for one cannot wait.

Agree0 Disagree0

So you expect someone who running forwards very quickly to fall backwards if pulled or pushed. you want to try it. its rich coming from a club which has fielded some of the country premier divers. nakamura who regularly collapsed if someone with bad breath went near him. cheating referee, right same guy who had never been in charge of a losing celtic team in a old firm match till yesterday. but you lot know your history when it suits you

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Mar 2012 16:26:31
with the RFFF. now being over £150,000.

when is this money going to be spend...

as far as i read a few weeks ago, rangers paid £25k of the £40k due to Inverness caley.. which only leaves £15k.

can we not use some of this RFFF to clear that debt, or are we waiting until we have new owners to use it??

would be good to have some debt gone and less creditiors to deal with.

Believable20 Unbelievable5

I think the money made at the moment is for paying electric bills and police and stewards on match days

Agree0 Disagree0

Well we've fixed the Telly's and the grass looks good. I think D&P are spending on the stadia to make it attractive to buyers rather than pay creditors money, which isn't what they're supposed to do but it's better for the club of they all get a pennies CVA anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

Right enough 150K 'll make all the difference. Jeez. Only Ł74,850,000.00 to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pay up hearts and dundee utd then

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly that was the point of my OP with the money we in the RFFF we could aleast clear caley and dufc off the list...

then start paying money to other debts..

and im sure that it was part of the Olympic games money from the commonwealth that was used to fix the big screens, not the money the admin guys have

Agree0 Disagree0

What Olympic games commonwealth money? How did hat come about? And how much?

Agree0 Disagree0

Commonwealth games are 2014. The team will be well gone by that time.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mtfellow bears don't you get it yet, we are apying double for the mess that wew are in and still the admin guys are string it out with bids that they will shorten to two or three in a weeks time. I have paid my season ticket in full, I buy match programmes, food and drinks INSIDE Ibrox, but still expected to paymore money to pay off the incompetance of other who are making profit enough to mae the payments due for running costs....enough

Agree0 Disagree0

"but still expected to paymore money to pay off the incompetance of other who are making profit enough to mae the payments due for running costs"
--

No one is expecting you to pay anything, if you don't want to contribute don't. As you stated you already spend far more than most.

Why complain about it on a public forum?

Have you considered this may be for the fans from around the world that want to help but have been unable to contribute in the ways you do.... Seriously.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well they can pay Glasgow City Council the Ł100k they owe them

Well done today to ally and the team - the game was all about giving us fans something to smile about after this living nightmare recently. Anyone who is thinking about buying our club and was at that match today must see how great our club is. Still the best derby in the world atmosphere was out of this world!

mcCabe is a very intellegent footballer has a good future ahead of him an old head on young shoulders.

Believable23 Unbelievable6

Agreed mate, was immense today and showed maturity and didnt bite when Brown was targeting him. Heres hoping he has a bright future with us

Budge 218

Agree0 Disagree0

Him, Ness and Hutton could be great midfield 3 for the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Left foot, right foot, positional sense, a cool head. I only remember one pass all game that didnt go to a blue jersey, played with a sense of responsibility and maturity that was missing from the "captain" of the unwashed, and what was different today was the older players werent scared to give him the ball like they are with some rookies .......... Big Dave

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree, i aint seen much football due to work over past few weeks, but that we guy was amazing he ran the game, celtic never looked in it, shellshocked at the start we made and for him to rule the midfield like that was great to see and if this is the quality coming from our youngsters well why buy any players when thats what is being produced, youth is the way forward as alot of us know, great result and determination from all on the day, although i dont think witty had to make that challenge at the end but great result.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Mar 2012 15:05:41

Chuck it now ally 5 at the Back, your tactics are worse than Walter's, joke of a team.

Believable13 Unbelievable91

He's playing 3 at the back. we don't have the players to go all out. i'm off back under the bed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your a joke mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fool, do you actually know anything about football?!

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is this fool ally's tactics are working! teams playing a belter!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a shame they an only lift themselves for this game. The players have been rubbish for th last few months they are just cheating the fans. Why can't they play like that every week.

drumlad

Agree0 Disagree0

Well apart from the last couple of minutes, I'd say todays tactics were spot on !!

Agree0 Disagree0

The game plan for everyone worked a trick eday from the SFA to the POLICE to the REF it was never going to be aloud for celtic to win today for ALL involved

Agree0 Disagree0

What u gotta say now u plonker tacktics spot on,give the man a chance ffs, hope uve got the dignity to come back on an admit u jumped the gun.

Agree0 Disagree0

And the conspiracy theories start!

Agree0 Disagree0

So now it was a conspiracy against Celtic get a grip the better team one

Agree0 Disagree0

do u realise we have been in administration for the last few months.....and we beat our oldest rivals who were going to win title today, if they had win.who cares about allys tactics we won job done move on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a celtic fan and im embarassed by the post about the sfa. mate we were well beaten today by a team who fought harder whos attitude was better and who handled the occasion in a better manner. The 2 reds were by the letter of the law correct decisions. Ive no complaints. I am however angry with my team my manager (altough i dont know exactly what was said to get him sent to the stand) and the fact we could have been hammered by an inferior team. YOU however are making me sick!!! sfa nothin id bet my left testical im twice the celtic fan and man you are and i have to take my medicine so you have to aswell. we are the champions and no matter what some clowns on here say its by merit and im not having that sullied by you and your bad loser nonesense about a conspiricy. we will get them back at parkhead

Agree0 Disagree0

Your never made a fool o your self.

Agree0 Disagree0

Specsavers for you pal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic will win league and deservedly so . no arguments from me. we however won today fair and square. any arguments?

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic will win league handed to them by mr whyte

The league is over but we still want the old firm jeering rights. Lets hope next season is a fresh start with a new owner(s) at the helm!

25 Mar 2012 10:26:12
Rangers need to start with McCulloch up front as he can bully the Sceptic defence. We need to play on their weaknesses and the centre of defence is where that is. Balls up to McCulloch might not be pretty but it can be effective in winning us free kicks & possession near to the Sceptic box.

If we go with McCulloch & 1 other then we can get a positive result but if we play 5 in midfield then we will be looking to hold out for as draw which in my opinion is not the best thing to do.

The Pilot!

Believable12 Unbelievable4

Pilot, there's a job for you at Ibrox, spot on with Mcculloch. More of the same in the second half please PB

Watching MOTD. Watching Norwich game! Really makes it hit home the smoke and mirrors that were projected when you see Holt play ! And we bid what 500k ?? hilarious. they must have laughed so hard.

Believable30 Unbelievable4

Totally agree. The Ł500,000 / 1m bid was just for show so that scrotum whyte looked as if at least he was bidding for folk during the window but at the same time never goin to get players.

Agree0 Disagree0

We had no chance in signing him, the guy is a norwich legend, what worries me is ally believed Mr tight.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally knew also and was playing his part well.

Agree0 Disagree0

Guess today's the day Ally finally gets bumped from 5 tournaments prematurely.

Agree0 Disagree0

You would not have paid Norwich anyway by ducking into administration to avoid doing so, the same as the rest of your bills.

Agree0 Disagree0

What would we have done even if they had said yes! Craig whyte would have to admit that he was only joking!
