could rangers no sell season ticket for £50 and say or do somthing in some way like buy a strip at £400 to fk ticket us

Believable12 Unbelievable23

Thats actually a no bad idea! But who would actually buy the strip for 400 quid?! You would end up with people having a season ticket for 50 quid!! Anyway I think the blue knights is the only option now, ticketus have said they could stretch the repayments over 10 years etc and be flexible, they will also own part of the club so with the share issue the fans could buy them out. I still think there is a way this can work out ok. All depends now on the big tax case.......

J

Agree0 Disagree0

Eh? 18mil from ticketus can be seen as a cash advance on the season tickets, in affect the debt transferred from Lloyds to ticketus. It wasn't them that shafted us, it was whyte, he used fans future ticket money to pay off Lloyds. I would be disappointed if they didn't get their 18 mil back if not from being involved with the club then from the new owner. Ticketus can chase whyte for the outstanding 6mil tho

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats an idea but would they just no hang around for years till they got the money they are due? graeme

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you aware that 40p for each union jack flag sold on sunday will be due as vat, plus tax on the profit made

Agree0 Disagree0

It dose not matter if White or ticket us paid the money both would want their money back.

Agree0 Disagree0

This ticketus deal will now remain against Rangers unless liquidation. £25.5m seems a much more round figure.
The contract is watertight and will include ticket pricing clauses. I the thought processes of some commenters in here remarkable. How do we scam out of this, the same thought processes of the Directors who set up the mess.

Agree0 Disagree0

The club is a scam. What about the supporters f*ck them. The board on behalf of rangers football club goodnight and pay as you enter and thanks. the rangers board

Agree0 Disagree0

Please be aware of this Folks there is a certain crew, who have ran up 10,000 flags, 5,000 tee shirts and 2000 scarves for sale on the streets outside Ibrox on Sunday and not only will Rangers not receive a penny from these sales but neither will the tax or vat man and they have nothing to do with Craig Whyte or Rangers beware who you give your money too, it could just be getting spent in the Gallowgate on Jelly and Ice Cream.

Agree0 Disagree0

Duh has Craig Whyte no sold the rights for the next 5 years strips along with the catering rights.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why shaft ticketus they done nothing wrong they are a business it's Whyte that did this deal a still thing murry had something to do with it as well ..kenny bluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

The RFFF is a charity as far as i am aware and rules and regs will be different regarding tax and vat.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus have bought 100,000 season tickets at £200. Therefore a £500 season ticket - £200 to ticketus and £300 to club. Season ticket prices have been the same for about 3 years now. Time for an increase. An increase of £100 each ticket would mean the impact of the ticketus deal would be reduced. If ticketus have agreed with PM to take money over a longer period than 3-4 years then this £100 increase would be ticketus money and therefore no lose in income to the club. The only people being hurt would be the fans but if we want a club to support its the only way. What do u think ed? {Ed001's Note - that supposes people can afford the extra £100 though.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The more fans put in, the more Directors will take out. P Murray has not disclosed who his board will be and their salaries. He needs to go public with this info. Does he intend paying himself and them £400-650k per year each?

Agree0 Disagree0

RFFF is most certainly not a charity! Just because the begging bowl is out doesnt automatically qualify the company as a charity case.

Agree0 Disagree0

Charity my ass! it's raising money to keep a commercial business afloat that is not charity!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus will be entitled to a fixed sum amount of money each year - a total of £27million reeported - the media simply worked it out as 60% of the tickets received, but if rangers dont get £27million worth of tickets sold over that time... they will still need to pay the money

As i posted on here a while ago, but your administrator of the site never posted for reasons only known to him, i can categorically tell you today, that RFC will not get a 10 pence in the pound deal or anything close. HMRC are already owed 15 million and that makes them in the driving seat to deny or grant a CVA. "HMRC will go for maximum recovery for money owed, they don't care about history or tradition. 2 ways this can be achieved. 1: Grant a CVA if Rangers can come up with a business plan and robust corporate structure if HMRC are to believe that the business will grow and provide steady tax income in the years ahead. This giving Rangers the chance to pay money owed over a number of years but this also has to be agreed by 75 percent of creditors, and as mentioned already, HMRC are main creditors not ticketus or Whyte. Option 2 : Winding up order. HMRC won't be the only creditor, although, as the largest, they will be calling the shots. The sale of assets in a liquidation typically has them sold at less than their normal value – it is a fire sale, in effect – but football stadiums, training grounds and football staff hold their value better than other conventional business assets because they are unique and, as would be likely in this case, will be bought by a newco version of the former club. So doesn't look good im afraid, and i give you a quote ''it is very difficult for HMRC to justify any action which does not recoup the tax owing, particularly if it looks like deliberate non-payment as opposed to the inevitable result of incompetence/poor management."

Now in not one to pass out information as rumour, or idle gossip, i have first hand knowledge and information i left my name for the person who runs the site to google me, Paul Gray (civil servant) but im not sure if this will appear on your site, as i tried to post it a while ago and let everyone know what is happening with your club.

Believable35 Unbelievable29

Firstly I am not a tax or accountancy expert but I can read. Law changed 1n 2003 and this resulted in HMRC are now deemed unsecured creditor status along with tickets I believe after today's ruling. No mention of this in any of the blogs or indeed twitter including RTC. For what it's worth I feel liquidation is real and the only option. Finally the legal position appears to support Craig whyte as the major shareholder and therefore primary creditor. So I am extremely sceptical in your claim

Agree0 Disagree0

Im afraid you are totally mistaken. I can either assume you have been misinformed or are trying to provoke a negative response for your own pleasure.

Agree0 Disagree0

Great post yours lord Lucan ( google me )

Agree0 Disagree0

Well composed but come on, this is a football rumour site and not the usual platform for even disgraced Civil Servant. See you Sunday.....

Agree0 Disagree0

You are wrong there is another way out i am going to buy the mighty Rangers and clear all the debt and give the manager £100 million over the next year as i am a minted bloke Google me Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani

Agree0 Disagree0

More like you Googled a suitable name before making your post, ill keep this simple in reply;
HMRC have an obligation to recover as much money's as they can, if a company is liquidated then HMRC get nothing. Personally I feel 30p in the pound will be agrees paid over a 3 to 5 year period.
Time shall tell who's prediction is closer Mr Gray...

Agree0 Disagree0

Being an ex civil servant myself until fairly recently, you will be aware that you could have broken Official secrets act 1989, you know that form you signed the day you started.

Agree0 Disagree0

Firstly, the £15million debt is a TAX and VAT debt, so no deal there is likely.

Secondly, the £49million(or £100 million according to your average law expert Celtic fan), is the EBT case, which HMRC will do a deal for with any new owner of RFC, they WONT do a deal with Craig Whyte, as they dont really like the way in which he does his business.

Thirdly, GIRFUY for Sunday

MON THE CHAMPS

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you start composing this rumour after the killy game on sunday / put all your energy into it did you ?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure your old employers will be very interested in what you are posting on rumors sites Mr P Gray if of course that is your real name.
Anyway I thought you resigned in 2007.....?

Agree0 Disagree0

If HMRC have let Vodaphone,Chelsea, Arsenal, Arcadia group and our beloved pop stars away with BILLIONS what is the issue with attacking Rangers. i am not saying Rangers should get away scot free but why the persuit of such a diddly wee amount compared to others. Could you give me a reasonable answer.

Agree0 Disagree0

How pathetic u must be google a name and then claim to be that person.wow what a pethetic little person.get therapy soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I don't know what all the fuss is about
Once the debt exceeds a certain level we are all effed whatever happens. From that point on there is no way it can get any worse.
And we have already gone past this stage, therefore there is no point in worrying. It can only get better from now on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers supporters thought they might win the ticketus court case.
rANGERS Supporters are so delusional

Agree0 Disagree0

EHHHMM... No decision has been made yet regarding EBT or RTC! Thought i'd mention this miniscule point. Agree with #8- GIFRUY. Stevie-A-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

AM LAUGHING AT THIS STATEMENT ABOVE

they WONT do a deal with Craig Whyte, as they dont really like the way in which he does his business.

Are you daft or what you read to many papers. EBT are not iilegal but the way our team used them with cash loans, cars, ect that is taxable and also vat on them,, am sorry to say our day is coming
so sad
little bear!

Agree0 Disagree0

There are over 10000 civil servants in scotland...working anywhere from transportation to Scottish government. I'm not one but I know a fair few. None of them ever signed official secrets acts and football means feck all to government. Civil servants provide services to the public and have nothing to do with courts or tribunals. The crown office is completely separate from the executive (the civil service) so not only is this post high quality Rafael, but some of the replies are as well!

Agree0 Disagree0

I know civil servents who have signed such secrets acts

Agree0 Disagree0

Scottish Government staff are Civil Servants
Crown Office staff are Civil Servants
Scottish Courts Staff are Civil Servants

Doesn't matter which branch you work for, they are still the same sector, but like people who play from Rangers, Celtic, Falkirk, Peterhead, East Stirling, Civil Service Strollers, or any other team can collectively be described as being Footballers.

Doesn't mean what the OP wrote is true, but had to point out the inaccuracy of some of those arguing against it

Agree0 Disagree0

I signed the official secrets act...when i left the army....

Agree0 Disagree0

AM LAUGHING AT THIS STATEMENT ABOVE

they WONT do a deal with Craig Whyte, as they dont really like the way in which he does his business.

Theyve already stated they wont do a deal with Whyte but will listen to a new owner, u fanny. Why are you on here anyway? Not got over the hurting fact that Killie pumped you in the cup?

Celtic Fans - Obsessed with Rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

If Rangers liquidate the assets are sold of and creditors get the money thats what liquidation means to say HMRC will get nothing is crazy in fact Liquidation might well suit HMRC.

Agree0 Disagree0

This boy works for the HMRC I would trust them to go to the shops just jobsworths!!!!!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Liquidation suits HMRC and Ticketus and other Creditors. The Assets get sold to cover the debts. Everyone gets paid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Liquidation they will only get a percentage . cw plan is to liquidate then sell assets stadium and training ground will go to new co for a nominal fee paid by new owners the land however the albion ect will be bought on the cheap , perhaps andrew ellis . fkn crooked eh thats my theory

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong secured creditor gets paid then the rest get to split the rest aint gonna be much

Agree0 Disagree0

Even postmen sign the official secrets act, ffs ger1952

A lot of talk that the OF generate 85% of the league's income and if you pay more than your fare share you should get a larger slice of the cake! Is this factually true? Do the gang of 10 only generate 15% between them?

Believable22 Unbelievable8

Even taking away the fact we generate all the money, if the wee 10 want the money, take their share of the games not at 3pm on a saturday.

You imagine how fast sky will run if rangers and celtic are both at 3pm on a sat and they are forced to show inverness v st mirren. NO LIKEY , NO SHOWIE

Contract will never be agreed without us being on tv, if we are on tv every weekend, we should get paid appropriately

Agree0 Disagree0

The Sky TV deal should not and will not determine or influence the fate of Rangers.
The law and due process will determine what happens at Rangers. If there's no Rangers in SPL, so be it. SKY do a new clause without old firm mentioned.
The judge today mentioned that the tickets sold to ticketus averaged 60% of annual income over those years ( and it wasn't all the tickets) so SKYs income must be about 15% or less to Rangers. Don't overestimate the value of SKY.

Agree0 Disagree0

These 10 clubs stuffed up SPL income by accepting Setanta instead of SKY. Lord John Reid and Peter Lawwell went to the press in anger at that decision. Now these same people want to spiv more funds from the old firm.

Agree0 Disagree0

I used to watch Chelsea now I watch Man City, unheard of years ago.
Other teams will come to the fore honestly.
Rangers were at the top through financial doping. It was never honest.

Agree0 Disagree0

For theguy talkin about sky deciding rangers fate. Tis post has fk all to do wi tax ca or our fate.

It is about tv generation and voting rights. Jog on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Look at the gates over the period of a season, if the OF fans didn't show up at away games their gates would be shocking! The OF also are the draw WORLDWIDE for TV, not the person clubs!!

Duff and phelps. These guys are fecking doing my heed in
If they have the power to rip the agreement up .Why the
Fu*ck did they go to court in the first place..Ticetus.say if that was the case then duff and phelps will have a lengthy court case ..Time we don't have ..I get the feeling we ate fuc*ked

Believable24 Unbelievable4

They went to court to try and get the court to do it for them as if the court did it then no possible court case could come out of it as they made the decision in the first place.

they also wanted to clarify if the ticketus deal was secured against rangers or its assest (which it turns out they aint)

i think the admin guys only have the ability to refuse to honour contractual agreements but not property or real rights.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who seriously thinks Ticketus should wave goodbye to 20+ million quid just on a whim of the admins ? Disgusting.

Agree0 Disagree0

D&P failed today. The contract still stands.
How can D&P not honour the ticketus deal in the best general interests of Creditors when Ticketus is the Creditor??

Agree0 Disagree0

This is D&Ps first failure of many. It was predictable and inevitable, the contract stands. The judge hinted that the only way to get rid of it is liquidation.
The £3.6m court case concerning funds in lawyers account will be there next failure. All providing good income for them and their Lawyers.

stevie naismith back in training surely cant play this weekend, would be a wonder if he could play against the jungle jims this weekend, i pray!

schoolboy/

Believable4 Unbelievable37

He was only out running with the physio, Calm down eh! lol

CC

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love it too but never gonna happen after that injury

J

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe he is only 25% fit a bit like his wages

Agree0 Disagree0

From a cruciate rupture ,the whole operation to fully rehabilitated should take around 6months.(as long as the graft takes well and there are no other set backs. He has been through this before so will be experienced on physio work and the timescales.

Agree0 Disagree0

You won't see him till next season (hopefully)

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe he is only 25% fit a bit like his wages
------------------
Pity that 25% of his wages in a week is more than what your on a month....eh? Bet Stevie is gutted......lmao
GIRFUY

Agree0 Disagree0

He also had an operation on a hernia a fews weeks back. so dont expect him to be fit until pre-season

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Mar 2012 18:38:09
ok fellow bears back to the football side of things, do u think we have enough on the park with the possible return of Lafferty and Whittaker on Sunday to get a result against Septic?

Believable28 Unbelievable36

5 days training I don't think so, not fit enough for a game of pro. football, maybe doon the park.

Agree0 Disagree0

I actually do. We have boca, Goian, Whittiker and papac returning, solid defence.

I would play

Shagger
Whittiker Goian boca papac
Davis mcculloch edu aluko
Lafferty little/healy

Bench: Alexander, kerkar, Perry, bedoya, Healy, Hemmings, Mitchell. Iv heard there is a lad in under 19's who bangs them in, I would fling him in for the remaining games this season, why not?

Can't wait for Sunday, easy enclosure will be rocking ;-)

J

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who believes that Lafferty is injured is a fool, its a known fact that he can only play 1 more game this season, and that will be this Sunday. This will be his 99th game for Rangers, after 100 games more money which we dont have goes to Burnley.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely laffs played more than 99 games? got to have

Agree0 Disagree0

Id have mccabe in b4 edu mcculloch anchor wd like to see aluko up against centre halfs try n get them turnin

Everyone has this wrong the court case looks alot in our favour as the administrators have said it looks good for creditors if the ticketus deal is void!

Believable7 Unbelievable31

Try and look up ticketus response to court ruleing,if they try and tear this deal up, will end up in court for a long time, time and money that rangers do not have,if duffers had cast iron legal rights to do so it would have been done long ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

How the hell do you work this out mate, what have you been smoking , rastafarian old hoburn

Agree0 Disagree0

"Lord Hodge has made it clear that the Ticketus arrangements do not mean Ticketus has property or real rights over seats at the stadium or, indeed, the proceeds from the sale of future season tickets.

Lord Hodge has stated Ticketus has what are known as contractual rights, essentially a contract between the Club and themselves. It is clear from the judgement that, as administrators, we have the statutory right and powers to have the company (the Club) refuse to honour the Ticketus arrangements if such a decision would be in the interests of creditors generally.

at least 2 of the bidders want it gone so it is therefore in the interest of the creditors generally

Agree0 Disagree0

From what I've read were no worse off than yesterday or last week. Hardly spells the end does it? D & p took a chance on getting us out of the ticketus deal. Never quite came off. For 25 million quid it was worth a go. Back to the bidding. At least we'll know who fancies the challenge of getting us back to the top.

Agree0 Disagree0

SDM must have known...surely.

How else could Craig Whyte sell something he didnt actually own at the time?

Agree0 Disagree0

We had no chance of winning this!
Ticketus could not loose this and D&P rake up more money!
We are lambs to the slaughter.

Agree0 Disagree0

This just means Ticketus are added to the list of creditors. Unless they want to pursue Whyte seperately. This is the reason BK has suspended his bid Not withdrawn it) He wants to check the legalities, if he comes back in again, then we have a chance, we will still have to pay back Lloyds if Whyte's deal is scrapped but this is better than losing season ticket sales for next 3-4 seasons... Simples!
Stevie-A-Bear
Stevie-A-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte sold the seats 3 days after owning the club (£20m) and some months after owning the club (£5m). As stated by the judge. Let's not hear any more about dates.
Ticketus is the largest Creditor, £25.5m how can ripping up a debt to them be in the interests of Creditors? They are the Creditors! D'oh!

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Mar 2012 17:30:47
simple question who is secured creditor at the club?

must be someone

Believable0 Unbelievable9

Whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Duff & Phelps only ones guaranteed to making any money out of this, can't get any more secure than that.

Agree0 Disagree0

The wee provident cheque collector

Agree0 Disagree0

Her Majesty
Oh, the ironing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Simple question- complicated answer! Whyte borrowed against the clubs assets to fund his takeover (future season ticket sales) & catering income (to fund short term running costs) he didn't consider any long term strategy because he didn't think that would be necessary. I think he believed the tax tribunal would be settled early in his stewardship, allowing him to liquidate the business (that's what does for a living albeit on a smaller scale) then sell the remaining assets-Ibrox Stadium, training ground (I refuse to call it M***** Park!) & the Albion car park for a profit for himself.

Unfortunately for him events didn't transpire as he thought they would, so he was burdened with a business he didn't want. He then embarked on strategy of corporate sabotage- not paying taxes, denying Alistair McCoist funds to improve the squad & generally being a obstacle to progressing the business.

As we are all aware the Police are investigating the circumstances of the takeover (Companies Act 2006 states it is illegal to buy a company using said company's assets to secure the purchase of the company).

He (Whyte) failed to fulfil the terms of the agreement he signed with the previous owner of the majority shareholding in the club. The terms included providing funds to clear the bank debt, stadium improvements & capital for running costs.

If the current police investigation finds he (Whyte) has breached the regulations as laid down by Companies Act 2006 his takeover will be declared null & void, his shareholding will be returned to the club(not to the previous owner).

So to answer the simple question- who is the secured creditor at the club? I don't know but if all I stated before comes to pass I think the Rangers F.C itself will be the secured creditor & Whyte is f****d!

This is just my opinion, not legally binding or a statement of fact. Thanks for listening(reading).

ThatsNotMyName

Agree0 Disagree0

The above is a lot of nonsense what Whyte did and how he bought the company are perfectly legal its a method of purchase used in corporate takeovers. The police are investigating money removed from Rangers accounts.

Agree0 Disagree0

At present Craig Whyte is the secured creditor after the 6th of April 2012 the law changes and HMRC would become a major player as per the law pre 2002.

Not looking good Brian Kennedy has put his bid on hold due to recent court verdict.Where do we go from here ? Perhaps the WEE LIAR with all his millions will help to see the club he has supported all his life get out the myre, and pigs will fly

Believable17 Unbelievable6

Liquidation is the only possible answer as Dave King said as soon as Murray joined forces with Ticketus

Agree0 Disagree0

No it is not. Read the judgement. It is much more favourable than press reports suggest. Admins are free to repudiate Ticketus deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig whyte is a gers fan in the same way that if i stood in a garage i could call myself a car.this just gets messier and messier.ed,what u reckon is next? roughly?
drumlad {Ed001's Note - I think Murray and Ticketus will try and push their bid through.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah thats what i was reckoning.this may sound mental and its only just come across me but wouldnt it make sense from a business point of view to start using ibrox for gigs? wouldnt that be in everyones interest? thanks.
drumlad

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed - paul murray & TBK have no chance. The preferred bid(at the moment) is likely to be the American one. It offers most money which is what we need right now {Ed001's Note - doesn't mean they won't try though.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do you think one of the few investments whyte did make was to invest 3 million upgrading the kitchens and catering facilities.concerts would be a good income stream.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would anyone do concerts at Inrox? There's several other better facilities in central Scotland including indoor events, which all already do concerts.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy is a Hibs fan ffs don't you listen?

What would happen if the fans did'nt renew season tickets and threaten to boycott home games, hwould that effect the ticketus deal?

Believable4 Unbelievable14

You cant do that according to your new slogan WE DONT DO WALKING AWAY what a joke.....b

Agree0 Disagree0

Try to keep up mate we have to pay ticketus either way and by not going to games it would just not give us the revenue to do so

Agree0 Disagree0

The club still owe 24 million! Regardless of how many tickets are sold cheers Whyte

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes that would effect ticketus as i sure that the deal is against future season tickets sales.

but what happens if every fan just pays at the door instead?

Agree0 Disagree0

Have Ticketus not in effect bought the seats rather than the means used to sell them to punters?

Season Ticket or pay at the gate makes not difference, they get their money for every sale of one of their seats

Agree0 Disagree0

That dosent matter u still have 2 pay it back i no this is a new thing 2 rankers having 2 pay back what u owe

Agree0 Disagree0

What is it with u people u take but wont give back wake up your in the real world pay at the gate lol yeh and avoid tax again

Agree0 Disagree0

Look, ticketus paid the money in good faith and LLoyds have been paid with it, we must just carry on

Agree0 Disagree0

Nobody in their right mind would renew their Season Ticket now !

Agree0 Disagree0

D&P to have emergency meeting with players first thing Monday, possibly further wage cuts as court cases are eating up the cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

People get with the programme, D&P rip up the agreement, ticketus take us to court net result we still owe 24million plus court costs, D&P honour the agreement we are down 24 million whither by taking gate money or season ticket money, we dont pay, ticketus go to court and force administration over no payment of debt, with prefered creditor status and guess what? Correct we are back in the brown smell stuff, and we become the SPL Portsmouth, we have lost and will keep going that way until we the supporters stop all this rubbish, and take a large stake in a Rangers which will survive, in any shap or form. Forget Celtic and and any other team, yes its nice to beat them 4/6 a year but remember we can still be champions and not win against the other lot in the East end

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha Ha who are yea kidding, as of Monday their will be no Rangers, and from then on in You will be known as the Fifty Bob Mob, Wave your flags on Sunday then put them in the loft as there will never be a Rangers again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Call yourselves Rangers Fans? I honestly think you are preparing your statements for the next few years, Oh we are boycotting the games because we dont want them tae get their money. ~Naw yeas are not going because yea will see better games on Glasgow Green for free.BOYCOTT MY ASS YOU WILL DO WALKING AWAY.C

So if the judge said the company had no security over the assets of Rangers and was a simple creditor with the same rights as other creditors, in which case they will get pence in pound share of a CVA.

So where does Blue Knights bid stand as they were proposing rescheduling the payment of the Ticketus debt and reading the after court Ticketus press release, they appear to be still counting on the Blue Knights deal to get paid.

This is getting messier and messier......

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Ticketus as major creditor can block any CVA

Agree0 Disagree0

There is one thing that you seem to be forgeting as a creditor and now the main one they decide wither to accept cva or not so if it's not over 60p in the pound forget about it we are going to the wall before the 6th April i suspect {Ed001's Note - but, if they can become part owner in a consortium, they could recover their money through that and so afford to accept a lower CVA......}

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I the only Teddy Bear ashamed that our once proud club are trying to get out of paying our creditors? The club ran up the debts and should get in an owner who wants to get our once proud club back on track and pay back all monies due, even if it's another 100 years till we clear our DEBTS!

Agree0 Disagree0

The CVA has to be agreed by parties totaling 75% of the debt, as Ticketus represent around 33% of the dept, they could pretty much bring down any attempt themselves, and if they joined forces with HMRC then there would definitely be no CVA.

Blue Knights seem a gamble, and liquidation looks more likely each day

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus argue its not a debt buts an asset. most of the stuff posted her is nonsense ans ill informed. All that guidance means is if rangers won then they could rip up the deal say ive got this bit paper to say this will stand up in court. it still didnt mean they would win in the long run. it could still have been ruled against them.

As fo bidder backing out. Take kennedy for instance he's a business man he not gonna show his hand to the other players is he. so in that case we will see what happens. but i dont think we have seen last of his bid with or without ticketus.

Agree0 Disagree0

£24.4 million to Ticketus
£70 million to the taxman
Other unknown debts

Who in their right mind would such a business?

Agree0 Disagree0

There will be no CVA's , Mr Kennedy is running for the hills , The game is over , the Tax Dodgers have lost !

Who in their right mind would such a business?

Craig Whyte Did!!

Its £70 million??? It was £49 million last week.....damn that interest is high!!

10p in the pound, you heard it here first!

Will whoever is the last to leave ibrox on Sunday please turn off the lights and lock the doors behind you. Welcome to your new Tesco in govan. Goodnight Vienna.

Feck 10p in pound newco is only way to go and must be done b4 6th April no debt and rise from the ashes

Don't be stupid 10p to a pound is never going to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Even if the CVA was agreed, 10p in the pound still adds up to £10m you don't have!

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Ticketus and HMRC only get 10p to the pound, they have not agreed to a CVA and never will, HMRC have spent to much money with lawers and court fees to except a CVA. If they do what is to stop all of Us not paying our way and then only giving HMRC 10p in the pound, the country would be bankrup in no time We would make Greece seem a solvent country, just pay up or shut up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its simple to me we must let either Blue Knights or Brian Kennedy buy the club. The first thing they need to do is do a share issue and WE ALL must do our bit and put our money, no matter how much we have, into the club and move on. After all the mob on the other side of the city did it twice so no shame in this!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Fk me,the other mob did it twice no shame in it,the shames in not paying yir taxes ya nut lol

If Rangers have lost Ticketus court case we must liquidate before the 6th April hope the incompetent Duff n Phelps know this

Believable20 Unbelievable13

Is that because after 6th April any NewCo still has to pay outstanding debt?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why before 6th April?

Agree0 Disagree0

FFS - the law doesn't change on 6th April! Government suspended the new law being implemented.

Agree0 Disagree0

You Sir, are a muppet. Rangers will not be effected by the new rules from 6th April, Jesus, wtf dont people understand about that???

2. Rangers wont go into liquidation, rest assured.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes they will...rest in peace

Agree0 Disagree0

Gordon Ramsay seen near Ibrox with a liquidator under his arm, doesn't look good!

Agree0 Disagree0

Because on the 7th of April, D&P are on Holiday for 2 weeks in the Carribean. Paid for by Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have an idea which may sound a bit outside the box but why dont you PAY OFF WHAT YOU OWE and stop embarrassing Scottish football. Have you no shame!!

Agree0 Disagree0

You sir are a deluded clown every post including scotslawthoughts know new law will affect rangers and barring a miracle how ye going to agree a deal to get a cva to come out of administration when your tryin to dodge every creditor ye owe so liquidation is a fact you,ll soon wake up to.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Lord Hodge has stated Ticketus has what are known as contractual rights, essentially a contract between the Club and themselves. It is clear from the judgement that, as administrators, we have the statutory right and powers to have the company (the Club) refuse to honour the Ticketus arrangements if such a decision would be in the interests of creditors

Agree0 Disagree0

You sir are a deluded clown every post including scotslawthoughts know new law will affect rangers and barring a miracle how ye going to agree a deal to get a cva to come out of administration when your tryin to dodge every creditor ye owe so liquidation is a fact you,ll soon wake up to.

----------------
The new law has been delayed you muppet. And it DOESNT affect Rangers in any way, shape or form.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be sad to see liquidation , very sad but with the amount of money thats bn stolen from the club by whyte and the investigations into past dealing im beginning to think it maybe for the best pros outweigh the cons

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus are the major Creditors. Not paying Ticketus isn't good for creditors, it's really really bad for creditors! D'oh!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Another sad day, Ticketus deal stands, bidders going to walk and leave us in the mire, we may only have Paul Murray's bid left on the table, which includes Ticketus, we will have no choice, take his bid or go under.

Gus

Believable15 Unbelievable15

Liquidation is now inevitable

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe a fresh start will be best, its just getting worse and worse..

Agree0 Disagree0

Only reason Paul Murray included ticketus in his consortium is because he has no money we are f***ed

Agree0 Disagree0

What a shame! 25th march 2012 last ever Celtic v rangers game because one team can not pay there dues!

Agree0 Disagree0

We might get the gers in a cup.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some blame also has to be directed at the Scottish Media for NOT projecting the threats to the club for the past few years and trying to paper over the cracks as to how serious this was and would get, even now they are trying to project everything will be ok when in reality liquidation is the only way out of this situation. FACT.

Agree0 Disagree0

Some blame also has to be directed at the Scottish Media for NOT projecting the threats to the club for the past few years and trying to paper over the cracks? What the feck you on about?, When the press warned us we laughed and said they where only trying to disrespect Rangers and Murray. None of this debt has anything to do with the media. And even if we had listened What the heck could we have done about it? No this is only due to an over ambitious SDM who thought he could buy success, and we all bowed and praised him. Craig Whyte is only a fall guy all be it a rich one.
Sick to death and heart broken true Ger

Agree0 Disagree0

Look it is simple, the days of a benevolent owner are gone. Who ever takes over is in it for one thing and one thing only PROFIT, and who ever takes over will milk Ibrox, Muarry park and the car park for every penny that they can get out of the set up, because Ibrox is empty six days a week and the bills have to be paid regardless of whither it is full or idle, the soloution is make it work for its living, put on rugby, shinty, etc on the days/nights there is no football. In short we have no one to blame but ourselves and our mistaken belief that we have a right to exsist outwith the laws of the land

Agree0 Disagree0

Realistically the ticketus deal is irrelevant. The newco Rangers will start debt free.

Albeit in an unethical way that will draw a lot of flak.
Here is what is about to happen.
The 20 odd million from Ticketus (trust me) they will never see a penny of that again. HMRC will be paid a paltry sum after Ibrox is sold at a knockdown price.
Yes we are talking liquidation. We were ALWAYS talking liquidation. The new owners of Ibrox will take the new Rangers forward. No pain, no gain.

Judge also declined to give ticketus preferential treatment as Rangers creditors. They will have to join the queue like everybody else.

Believable15 Unbelievable5

Liquadation is only option now and it better be done now P.Murray hang your head in shame for including them in your bid Brian Kennedy I would like to thank you for trying to help our club but can see what you were up against hope you and the sharks have a good season

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus are owed season tickets they aren't owed any money hence why the deal is difficult the judge upheld there claim to the season tickets. To above the Paul Murray deal is rubbish and is pretty similar to how Whyte was working.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Mar 2012 14:52:42
But judge declined to grant Ticketus preferential creditor status as club try to exit admin through creditor voluntary agreement

Believable5 Unbelievable3

This dosent really make any difference. Ticketus as biggest creditor will block a CVA and force through the takeover with the Blue Knights.

In effect Rangers will be owned by Ticketus, who are a profit making organisation! Dosent look good!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus are financing the Blue Knights as a creditor, not a shareholder. Debt to Ticketus will increase by at least £5m if we go with that deal!

Cheers for this sh1te,I'm fed up with all this. How many folk are going to lie to us?This is a sad sad day in Rangers history. The tears are running down my face as I am typing this,my heart is broken and I have never felt so sad and unhappy in my entire life.Where is it all going to end for us Bears?

Believable18 Unbelievable18

In liquidation my unhappy friend as we have been telling you all along!

Agree0 Disagree0

Easy answer and correct answer mate, is now liquidation. Although we don't want it to happen it is the correct thing to do. All that is happening is we are going around in circles, delaying the chance to start again. I agree it's a sad day, but it has been coming since it all started. Coisty09

Agree0 Disagree0

Lord Hodge said he did not have enough information about bids for Rangers to make a ruling.

However, he did clarify Ticketus's status as a creditor.

The judge said the company had no security over the assets of Rangers and was a simple creditor with the same rights as other creditors.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a tim I feel genuinely sorry for you mate. It's gone way past being a joke now. Chin up - you can still have a team - get rid of the suits and get back to basics

Agree0 Disagree0

A judge has declined to rule on whether Rangers can rip up a £24.4m season-ticket deal with Ticketus.

Administrators Duff and Phelps wanted to tear up the agreement on the basis it could discourage bidders who may want to take over the club.

After a five-day hearing at the Court of Session, Lord Hodge said he did not have enough information about bids for Rangers to make a ruling.

However, he did clarify Ticketus's status as a creditor

Agree0 Disagree0

I make no apologies for giving you guys a hard time on your site. I do though genuinely feel sorry for decent Rangers fans who love their club and have basically done nothing to deserve this P***. I genuinely feel sorry for the poster.

Agree0 Disagree0

Puts paul murray in pole position octupus organisation worth billions , sponsorship and ticketus might just help us move forward with fan ownership . dont be too despondant it is always dark before the dawn and not all bidders might run keep the faith

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus have no security (which is like something to hold on to) over Ibrox. So it's good news in that sense (we can't lose Ibrox to them exclusively (could still be sold as an asset though)). Plus, we have a right of appeal, which will be considered over the weekend. The main reason for deciding not to give a ruling over whether we can breach the contract, was based on the lack of information the judge was given. In addition, Ticketus are simply an ordinary creditor, and will have to wait their turn. It's not a disaster. I should know, i was in the court room. Muzz

Agree0 Disagree0

I am in tears writing this as well mate. Pissing my self laughing. This could be a Carlsberg weekend. Win the league at ibrox, rangers dying slowly and i may even win the lottery. Never mind you still have the fighting fund! Oh silly me Ticketus have that as well now. Better charge a tenner for your wee flags now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus an ordinary creditor?Tell them that when yer looking for a cva so its back to square one ronnie biggs pay yer debts or tesco taking over the big hoose

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you joking mate not a disaster, rangers legally owe ticketus 24 million, regardless of how much information was given, bottom line is duffers chanced there arm and lost.Next up hmrc

Agree0 Disagree0

We (Rangers/Whyte) borrowed the money, we spent the money (£18M on the overdraft) and now we want to keep the money.

I can honestly say i feel dirty being a part of this underhand coniving weasling approach to corporate governance. It's not just Murray & Whyte who don't know how top run a football club it's Duff & Phelps too.

Imagine goping to court and saying to the judge you don't want to be forced to pay your rent because then you wouldn't be able to go on holiday. That's what Duff and Phelps are doing - don't make us pay ticketus, if we have to pay them no-one will want to buy our club.

What will be our next defence "A big bad boy done it and ran away" We have to take our medicine bitter though it may be and face up to our responsibilities. If we weasle out of our debts and then celebrate that our club has been saved then we are no better that Whyte.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont talk Craig Whyte. So what your suggesting is if someone stole your identity and paid off your mortgage by borrowing every penny of your next 3 years salary, to leave you no real source of income, then asks you to pay back the company he borrowed from, you would be happy? You would pay it back because "we borrowed the money"? Wake up for f*ck sake. Craig Whyte f*cked us over, because had he not mortgaged all our income, we would have been able to pay Lloyds back at the rate we were. Now we CANT physically pay our debt because we have NO source of income save tv money. In a moral world, Lloyds and Craig Whyte would pay ticketus back in full and we would go back to owing Lloyds £18million

Agree0 Disagree0

And stop saying "We"! It was Craig Whyte, i dont remember ever getting a vote for him to mortgage my ticket money to finance his takeover!

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy's post about being asked to mortgage his ticket money is correct it was not "we", but how many of us stood outside the main door of Ibrox and cheered CW through the door, it may not be "we", but it was a large part of "us"

Agree0 Disagree0

Read what it says on the 'Gers website about this, the administrators explain it, the decision looks good to me

Agree0 Disagree0

People will keep lying to you until you open your eyes and start to question people. Sir David did not allow any questioning of himself or his position which ultimately has ruined the club. The bottom line is they employed dodgy dealings in some aspects and criminal dealings in others and the whole s**t pile has come home to roost.

Agree0 Disagree0

Original poster, get a f*cking grip, tears running down my face, never been so sad blah blah is a football team and if you give the rangers has been part of my life since I was born p1sh you seriously need to take a long hard look at urself, its bad for any club to go through but seriously pull up your skirt grab ur nuts and man up your embarassing yourself

The SPL investigation into Rangers is being handled by Harper Macleod.

Harper Macleod are Celtic’s solicitors!

Believable8 Unbelievable6

And Lloyds Banking

Agree0 Disagree0

We know this.

Its been led by Liewell through Regan, thats his puppet. Liewell wont stop.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can we stop blaming celtic for our problems and start blaming whyte! an investigation can only find fault if there is wrongdoing. Lets face it they don't have to invent stuff we have enough guilt to sink a thousand reputations

Agree0 Disagree0

Did (LIEWELL) get yous into this mess NO it was all great when you were winning now you have to pay the price. You have got to blame someone else it part of your history...b

Agree0 Disagree0

What have you got to fear? if no wrong has been done. You can only be found guilty if you have not followed the rules and regulations of the governing body.

Agree0 Disagree0

It does not matter which law firm does the investigation, they have a legal obligation to carryout the the investigation to a very high standard and can have sanctions applied by the Law Society, if they fail to do so. You numpties seem to forget who recently defended our stars which facing various charges, and when Mr Paul McBride QC, got them off, I didnt hear you shower of less than true supportes shouting about him being a Celtic supporter, get off you bigoted soap boxes, we do not need your type of supporter who only looks to cause a distraction, when we are faced with going down the tubes, the best you can come up with is that they celtics lawyers, is it any wonder we are in muck when all you want to do is blame everyone outside the true blues for our woes and worries, it our mess and WE need to sort it out, the facts are facts and will remain so whosoever makes the investigation

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not our fault lrts blame someone else.

FOCUS - MURRAY, THE RANGERS BOARD, WHYTE. SFA

Agree0 Disagree0

I truely dispair for the club when so called supporters, start distractions, as above "their celtic lawyers" "Lloyds lawyers" their the mouthpiece of someone or other. This infantile game of blaming some one else, because there will be bad news, must stop, as we true supporters, become the subject of ridicule. as the above post indicates "the facts are the facts and will remain so" is correct. Do you think that a team of lawyers who were rangers leaning would come up with anything other than the truth and risk losing their reputation in the legal world? If so, you are needing mental health help and I suggest that you go to your GP and get refered

Agree0 Disagree0

Big deal, they are a massive law firm with a number of briefs who will come from a multitude of multi-cultural societies, doesnt mean because they have a business connection with the unwashed that they are out to get us??

OF TV Channel? Would this work? The OF would only be able to show home games keeping our own supporters from attending, even then it would all be early kick offs so not to clash with 3pm kick offs, I think the gang of 10 have a strong hand as all away games would not be shown unless the OF paid them to air the games! Wouldn't it be fairer to share the money making it a stronger league for all concerned? Look where greed has got us so far!

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Only be able to show home games in Uk but would be almost guaranteed to be the 2 games a week that Fox Soccer would screen and every £ counts

Fellow Gers Fans,

If this brian kennedy guy buys rangers i would love to see souness back at ibrox. He takes no crap and defends the club whenever anyone tries to put it down.

Believable44 Unbelievable24

Yes indeedy and Murray Park to be renamed Kennedy Park to finally erase the worst individual to ever be associated with our great club.

Agree0 Disagree0

No one will 'buy' Rangers. It'll be dumped onto them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Kennedy is looking for the facilities after liquidation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably the only bidder who does not want liquidation doesn't have enough money to stop it. If this administration makes it to a CVA I will be pleasantly surprised. TICKETUS IS EITHER GOING TO BE THE OWNER OR THE LIQUIDATOR.

Agree0 Disagree0

Last time he came he had plenty of money to spend. Doubt he Would that this time.

Agree0 Disagree0

The same souness who turned his back on rangers. He can chase himself all ally needs is clarity on who he can afford to sign instead of believing we could afford cuellur goodwillie hamed miller dann Mcoist has been let down as much as us and deserves time and a fair opportunity to sign who he wants and not just guys to bulk the squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Brian does buy the business, forget about playing football at the weekends.........unless you mean rugby football

Agree0 Disagree0

You forgot to mention overspends,Souness is a cheque book manager(not whats needed at the moment) {Ed001's Note - to be fair to Souness, he did comparatively well at clubs like Southampton, on a limited budget. But, on the flip side, he was the worst manager in the history of Liverpool with a decent budget.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to agree with the liquidation post as things have gone on far to long, its looking like newco........unless of course someone buys us today?

Agree0 Disagree0

Now at last we are seeing the way forward, Kennedy is a business man in it for profit, and in these days of little money, he will be looking at Ibrox and Murray Park as cash cows, with Ibrox not standing empty 6 days a week, so there will will be rugby, football, and don't be surprised if field athletics appear. In addition there will cash generated through deals of come and meet a star, need not be of our team and have lunch/dinner at Ibrox,as I have said before the rangers we knew befoire this CW saga, will never be the same again, we will become a cog in an entertainment wheel

Agree0 Disagree0

All this talk about Souness returning under Kennedy, but to my knowledge Souness has not gone public and said I will be there. Is the just more window dressing/false hope to keep the bears turning up every home match. Anyway it might be all hot air as the Court of Sessions will give its judgement at 2.00pm to day, and that might just be the begining of the end

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes indeedy and Murray Park to be renamed Kennedy Park to finally erase the worst individual to ever be associated with our great club.

----------------------------------------

worst individual surely has to be craig whyte.

funny we always got our taxes signed and paid and soon craig whyte appears we are on the verge on extinction

agree on the brian kennedy thing tho

Agree0 Disagree0

If Souness does come back to a Kennedy owned club, I don't think it will be as manager. I would see him in more of a figure head type role, rather than the daya-to-day stuff....

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte maybe as crooked as the come but he been the fall guy. the whole EBT think was under Murray's Time. both as bad as each other Murray did well to find another crook to take over get a clean break. To this day the media has nothing to say about Murray and his dealings.

Agree0 Disagree0

Souness has no tactical sense and has a bigger ego than all other players combined he only did well because he spent money! Stick with coisty I say

Agree0 Disagree0

Neither kennedy or souness are right for rangers. this brian kennedy doesn't have much capital and souness is a dinosaur who has been out the game too long. on that same note mr mccoist and his backroom team must leave if we as a club are to excel and be successful. there has to be a total clearout of ibrox but i fear the current crop will still be there next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Current crop won the league last year. they aint that bad its not our given right to win every year thats why we are in this mess in the first place. celtics been the better team this year simple as. Agreed rangers need to build but who will go watch week in week out during that transition. Not the current fan base i fear the glory hunters will soon disappear leaving the true fans in the stands.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the Gers had not gone into administation Coisty would be well away , he is a rubbish manager and should have been shown the door when he lost us the league ..What were we 15points ahead ,Clear out the lot of them or we wont ever get back on our feet.

Agree0 Disagree0

U must be dilussional cause this current crop of players are absoluely rank rotten ad unless there is a clearout then it will be a log time before silverware returns to ibrox.
