tv says that Paul Quinn has left Doncaster rovers by mutual consent, a right back at 29, it also says several championship teams are looking at him, rangers maybe one of them?

At 29 he would be to young we prefer more mature signings eh

I have a season ticket at Doncaster Rovers since I live in Doncaster and he's going to join and lower end English championship side either Blackpool or Brentford but their has been no report from anywhere that Rangers want to sign him. However we do need a new right back because I don't rate Ricky Foster at all. I suggest we keep Forster for this season then bring Alan Hutton back to the club because Paul Lambert doesn't like him so theirs a chance Villa might release him or let him go cheap, but he's a quality player.

alan hutton is not wanted by paul lambert well if you have not seen aston villa's 1st 2 matches of the season then he will be wanted he was outstanding in both games and got man of the match yesterday so I think that's that one ruled out. alan hutton is a player who has been plagued with injuries like naismith was and he is starring for everton now. I always liked hutton and remember scotland played italy when the italians kicked him all over the place if they wanted his autograph on their boot's they should have asked for it. hutton won't be back at ibrox in the forseeable future.

{Ed039's Note - I have always been a fan of Hutton for his attacking, but he was excellent yesterday, there were a few times he had to tuck in from right back yesterday and make some crucial challenges, he had a great game)

Totally agree ed even when hutton plays for scotland he is brilliant he is a major loss when he is not playing for scotland and I reckon he is one of our most important player's. just a point about ally where do you think these rumours about crystal palace have came from because he is not even in any betting for the job do you think this is just someone who has seen lennon as favourite and has decided just to wind us fan's up and throw mccoists name in. also just wanna just quickly send best wishes to gazza it's a real shame what he is going through just now and I really hope he can sort his problems out because he was an absolute legend for us I just think it is sad the way the media are reporting it as if he is some sort of weirdo everyone has problem's in their life and gazza's just happens to be drink I know a lot of people who have drink problems but they are thoroughly nice people when they are sober. best wishes gazza.
