Ed, is it true that if we are to sign the young lad form D.Utd, Allen, that it is to be a tribunal that decides the price ? if so, do we know why? AndyPandy63 {Ed014's Note - If the clubs can't agree on on the development fee (I don't think the SPL has a set scale to settle the amount) then it would go to a tribunal to decide the price.Basically the way the Aluko deal was going until it was settled.

Believable8 Unbelievable7

Cheers Ed, lets hope we can do something here, this lad is a great prospect for the future and if he signed would give us another good midfield option. AndyPandy63 {Ed014's Note - He seems highly rated by what I have read, and the little I have seen.

Agree0 Disagree0

He better get his wallet out to pay his development fee or will aluko cover that aswell??

Paddy

Agree0 Disagree0

Waiting on the first " he will need to settle the bill himself" post coming in from the Dhims .. :-)
Pete

Agree0 Disagree0

Ffs beat to it ... nice one paddy you must have been waiting all day on that to "pop up" its great being on the Champs page eh ? ... ya maddie ..

Pete

Agree0 Disagree0

It can only be a good thing, going to tribunal, I seem to remember that went on a lot on the late 80's early 90's. When Souness was boss. If we signed a player from the sheep or any other Scottish club it seemed to go to tribunal! Also in Europe we had the 3 foreigner rule and in the inaugural CHAMPIONS LEAGUE we done damn good with a host of SCOTTISH players. So y pay over the odds for good homegrown talent???
Kingbear

Agree0 Disagree0

Other things that went on then are what are about to cause administration

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above poster, you obviously don't have a clue what your talking about you mhuppet.the tax case only goes between 1999 and the mid 2000's so get your facts right.this is another dhim trying to re-write history that ranger's bought nine in a row when the tax problem's only started after we had done nine in a row mdw1873

Agree0 Disagree0

Do u mean he has to buy his way to ibrox

Agree0 Disagree0

Allan deal ain't going to happen - WBA will trump everything rangers can offer

All If's buts and maybes I know, however I heard today that Malky McKay is very interested in Kris Boyd to partner Kenny Miller which would suggest that Earnshaw could become available and that Coisty would be interested in bidding for Earnshaw if price not too high or possibly a loan deal.
He has managed hat tricks in Premiership, Championship, League 1, League 2 and at International level the only player who has managed this impressive achievement.
Nothing concrete but it is a rumour

im gutted to say Boyd is in fact going to a championship side dont know which one but if rumours right its cardiff i ken this for a fact would have loved him back

Believable9 Unbelievable19

FACT: definition = something that actually exists; reality; truth
FACT definition NOT =
whitty's da
Snowie the dug
Big shuggie in the butchers
Having 2 cans of Stella. (or 1 for some)
You dreamt it.
your cousins the cleaner at Murray Park
your the security Guard at Murray Park
your the brother of the woman who runs the ticket office at Ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the rumour is right, then you know it as a fact, which one is it mate ? - Pete

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a lazy player who, granted, could score goals. But more often than not he was a waste of space with a negative attitude. If KB was coming to a team with Gazza and Laudrup and guys like that around him I'd pay good money for him... But is he really the answer with a team struggling to create anything with guys like edu and mcculloch in the engine room.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a general life-rule, I don't trust anyone who types "ken" instead of "know"
sorry, but I am set in my ways

believe this if you like, supposedly lennon is rather keen on boyd. i dont know what to think of it either as celtic have a few strikers to choose from, this came from a good source. i know also that novo is training with gers but think this is only cos hes back visiting family in glasgow.

Believable8 Unbelievable10

Would not surprise me if celtic went for boyd and would not surprise me if he signed. he could do hoopy the huddle hound on match days suit would fit snugly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not that shocking... Rangers could declare interest in the entire Blantyre Mechanics squad and Celtic would try sign them...

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't see boyd signing for them, he would need to be soft in the head to put his family through the strain of that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not going to happen Celtic declared interest before and Boyd said over his dead body! Lay off the guy! Aye he has his faults but he's beaten the 'golden Larson' in scoring terms and was around asling as him!

Agree0 Disagree0

Think both your statements r old news

my mate who is a celtic fan bumpt into boyd in merchant city today n he asked him if he was bck to sign for rangers boyds reply was its a possibilty jst working on a few things n we will see what happens

Believable16 Unbelievable5

Typical person canny even spell bump

Agree0 Disagree0

Id rather have him in our team than Celtic having him! Hes lethal infront of goal, goals win games! plain and simple

Agree0 Disagree0

Did he fall looking for a pk? old habits n that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Big Boydy took 3 weeks to hit the deck in the box, the panel wouldn't be needed :-0

mccoist saying he is short in the attacking options.

WELCOME HOME BOYD YOU LAZY GIT!
If he only score against the "lesser teams" in the league i'd be happy. Boyd is the difference from winning 4-1 then the current 2-1 or even drawing!

news from ibrox [for the second mnth in a row rangers staff wages not been paid on time

Believable20 Unbelievable73

Cant see this being true, but if so things are really bleak.varification anyone?

Agree0 Disagree0

I laugh at these lame attempts in trying to stir up pure drivel from the Dhims.

Pathetic.

Agree0 Disagree0

News from Ibrox. Celtic not winning the league for the fourth year in a row! GIRFUY

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter nonsense the BBC news would have continuous coverage, the daily rebel would be putting out extra editions

Agree0 Disagree0

Why oh why do you bother

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a rangers man ,with a close contact at ibrox ,the reason it not in papers is the media need hard facts before they will run with it ,last mnth the wages were paid out off mr whites fathers account ,don't no anything about his father ,but it sounds dodgy too me

Agree0 Disagree0

If it was true, the papers would have printed it

Agree0 Disagree0

Iam a Rangers sth and shareholder and i believe you ! posted on here that Ally is currently not being paid thats how bad it is ,believe me this is fact.

Agree0 Disagree0

The best quote is from the 'Rangers man' who says "the media need hard facts before they will run with it" ha have you actually heard yourself?? What so the media never print anything unless it's true then, is that what you're trying to tell us?? Yawn yawn, run along

Agree0 Disagree0

This story is rubbish. Rangers failed to pay a £35k legal bill and it was wall to wall coverage in the Daily Ranger, if staff had not been paid it would be in the Daily Ranger, the BBC Scotland website (as they are quite happy to give Mr Whyte some publicity)...

ive just seen kris boyd getting his photo in glasgow city centre with a couple of young rangers fans. one of them asked if he was coming back and he said he really hopes so.

its not any new transfer rumour or anything just thought i would share it with everyone.

do yous think he would be a good signing? personally i dont think he would, i think we should be looking at such as jordan rhodes.

Believable11 Unbelievable19

F*** sake, will people ever learn, we CAN'T afford Jordan Rhodes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rhodes! grow up.not a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

I can confirm that Kris boyd is in glasgow city centre. See him when i was out about 1 hour ago !

Agree0 Disagree0

I think jordan rhodes has got great potential. i dont think he will leave until the summer.
if the tax case goes reasonably in our favour (10-15 million like rumoured) and we sell jellyfish we could afford the likes of jordan rhodes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Folks am not saying i would or would not like Boyd back, to be fair i am totally undecided, however i would just like to say that just because he is in Glasgow does not mean he is here to sign. I am sure he has a hell of alot of friends in Glasgow and may just be visiting. With the lack of fire power at the moment he might be worth another shot but then the team would need to be making more scoring chances than they are right now for his transfer to succeed if he does sign, roll on the 28th.

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't think the all time top SPL goalscorer would be a good signing? What are you on son? I'm sick of this crap about Boyd being a turncoat and going for more money. Such is football these days. I'd take him back in a heart beat!

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny tht all you posters seen Boyd but no one took a photo, especially in this day and age - ie b@@@@@ks

Agree0 Disagree0

He is in Glasgow, Wullie and Snowy met him today so its defo true.

FACT: Boyd will sign on short term deal in January. Deal almost done just waiting on legalities to be sorted out on previous contract. Heard but not confirmed that Andrew Driver will be offered deal to play for Rangers also.. How do I know this you ask? I work in the same building as Arena Sports Management. Thornliebank - Glasgow. The activity here has been massive over the past few days. Hearts Players, Rangers Directors and even the St Mirren Manager. Obviously being a Rangers Fan I asked the question of Mark and his exact words. "We're just about done for a deal in January" FACT

Believable21 Unbelievable18

An agent passing on info like that to someone who works in the same building? very profesional

Agree0 Disagree0

Long winded and totally untrue, FACT ! and you know it !

Agree0 Disagree0

Now listen cause I'm only gonna say this once kris Boyd will sign for rangers as soon as his registration papers and legal papers have been released by the Turkish fa asked why he leave ,s rangers and his reply was simple he thought the grass was greener on the other side .

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate i live in thornliebank have my whole life as have most of my family ... can assure you that arena sports management aint based here .... as far as i am aware they are based in Kelvinside?
Outta curiousity what building do u work in ?

Germinator

Agree0 Disagree0

Arena Sports Management is in Unit 1, Spiersbridge Business Park across from Thornliebank Library. Don't know if the post was true but he was bang on with the office.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well i might have been a bit hsaty originally but i cant find a single link showing thats where they are based and i have lived here all my life .... hell i used to walk thro there every weekday on the way to Woodfarm High!

Germinator

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont even think it matters wheather the office is there or not, how do you know the guy isnt just blowing smoke up your butt? Fair play to you if it is genuine, all i am saying is you dont want to look stupid by saying it is a fact. Just saying.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is true and something i was told back in August by my source who i will not name and he said " Driver would be ranger player in January if he stays fit i got shot down and now it seem things are going to plan . Kris Boyd will be a Gers Player in January FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

Is the original poster the doorman in this building? Things now going to plan!! wow some genius anticipated Hearts would not be paying wages to their star players allowing impoverished Rangers to pick them up for free. Amazing foresight truly incredible

Apparently Gordon smith been enquiring about a price for lee miller source close to mark donaghy

Believable8 Unbelievable24

Good signing would work with jelavic i think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Donaghy again! man this guy seems to be wandering round spreading all sorts of gossip!

Agree0 Disagree0

I worked beside Lee Miller's brother when we signed Kenny Miller, Walter had asked McCoist to talk to Lee then when he was out of contract at Aberdeen.
Lee signed new contract the day before Ally spoke to him and we signed Kenny Miller instead.

Lee Miller is a big Gers fan.........

Morning Bears, just finished the nightshift for the Christmas break ! Popped on before bed and I can see that it is definately the season of good will and peace to all men............ Oh! and the season of rumour speculation and which player supports which team, and who will and who won't be joining us, oh and also the resident experts from our rivals with their undevided love and attention for all things Rangers !! Catch up later fellow Bears.. AndyPandy63

ed just want to inform gers fans that possible deal has been done with hmrc and settlement is around 5 million mark not 10 to 15 as rumoured good source ! all the best for the new year gers fans

Believable18 Unbelievable28

No it won't.HMRC turned down over £10m a year ago. They'd look stupid accepting half now.Typical Craig Whyte spin.Legally he's not even allowed to talk to HMRC about the big bill.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have "possibly" done a deal ? that means absolutely nothing .... gers have possibly signed Messi on a free .... possibly

Germinator

Agree0 Disagree0

If its a possible deal then it has not been done

David

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice christmas story but possible crap!

Agree0 Disagree0

With HMRC get their backside felt by a House of Commons Committe just now I cant see them cutting ANY deals. Their boss is 'retiring' after cutting one or two deals too any. So Gers its time to pay yir dues.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ryan Stevenson has walked out on Hearts and doesn't want to play with them anymore, worth a punt for Rangers? He scores important goals and is a livewire upfront.

Believable24 Unbelievable17

Lol at the desperation for any player whos cheap and available . Infact LMAO

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a midfielder who gets played out of position. he runs about like a headless chicken......no use for rangers!

SCOTT ALLAN is set to snub the Old Firm and join West Brom.

The Scottish Sun

He's a Rangers boy but depends what he feels is best for his career and if he makes a few more bob then good luck to him!

WATP

Believable14 Unbelievable6

The sun must be printing crap again as i was only readin on here yous are red hot favourites to sign him. Oh well another bites the dust lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Looks like we have lost out again in a young Scottish lad . Ryan Stevenson up for grabs aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good riddance. Going by first impressions the boy is a future mercenary. Only a few few months ago he was demanding a wage package from UNITED that he didn't merit and that didn't justify his ability.

I'll give you 3-4 years before he his plying his trade in the SPL again!

TonyTheGer

Agree0 Disagree0

He obviously isn't a Rangers boy or else he would walk over broken glass to sign for us. He is a typical footballer of today. Greedy. Look no further than Goodwillie if you want to see where greed takes you. Cash over trophies and glory.

Agree0 Disagree0

You guys need to look up professional in a dictionary, this is a kids living ,would you turn down up to 30x your wages?5 yrs in epl means you are set for life and your kids too.we cant pay above 14k allegedly n he would not start on that

Agree0 Disagree0

To play for Rangers? Yes. He will still be a wealthy boy and have the privilege of playing for the Rangers.
