Just announced on AIM

Further to the announcement on 21 August 2013, the Board has been in continual discussions with representatives of the group who requisitioned (together the "Requisitioners") a general meeting to consider the proposed resolutions as detailed in the announcement on 2 August 2013 ("General Meeting"). One of the aims of these discussions has been to avoid the need for a General Meeting, at this time, and the associated unnecessary cost and disruption to the Company of convening two meetings, a General Meeting and then the Company's Annual General Meeting, which is expected to be held in October 2013, in short succession.

The Board has secured the written commitment from the Requisitioners that they accept the validity and logic of this view and the Company and the Requisitioners are now exploring the mechanics of rolling the business of the General Meeting into the business of the Annual General Meeting, on the understanding that an agreement will be reached on the terms upon which this will be done, by the close of business on 27 August 2013. Failing such agreement being reached by this time, the Board will be required to send notice to shareholders to convene the General Meeting by no later than 30 August 2013.

If the ACCOUNTS ARE ACTUALLY COMING BEFORE THEN AND IF THE AGREEMENT IS GENUINE THEN MAYBE OKAY

SEEMS VERY MUCH A STALLING TACTIC TO ALLOW MORE FUNDS TO BE TRANSFERRED OUT THE RANGERS ACCOUNT TO THE CONSULTANTS etc etc EMPLOYED TO DO THIS

WORREID

FLYERS PRINTING AS I SPEAK IN GLASGOW I WILL PICK UP IN MORNING AND HEAD TO IBROX

I have been informed from someone close to rangers that Charles green may be gone just now but that he will be back in 2 weeks as chairman of rangers don't know how reliable this is but if it is true then it is the start of more and more trouble at ibrox. this stinks this whole mess it just needs to be sorted before fan's take their actions to far and I mean they may start voting with their feet and not attend games which will hurt us even more financially. as I say my source may be telling a whopper but it may also be true

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree with your reasoning, but we can not do much at the moment based on a rumour. I very much doubt that Green will be back at Rangers and certainly not as chairman

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think we can wait that long there going to get rid of as much money is left in the bank and to give them a month seems crazy to me. If Blin was in place to look after the money with full control until then I would be satisfied. Gger

Agree0 Disagree0

What makes some people feel that newcomers will do any better - when they would not touch us with a bankroll two years ago? Will they not just act like ticket touts too?

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope the rangers board can sort out there differences and put the club on a healthy financial level, I don't want to see the turmoil rangers went through last year again

Iain McColl in Herald saying that they intend pushing on with the proposed EGM. Good to see that the 'Resignation' of Green was seen as the smokescreen it was along with the invitation to Blin. Baby steps.

@ op green was nothing to do with the requisition that's the reason why he came back but I would think he knows that his men are going to lose and that's why he stepped down and wasn't sacked

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope this might get printed this time ed- charles green has not gone away he's still has his fingers in many rangers pies he is still a director of 5 rangers companies- rangers retails, rangers matchday, rangers youth. Rangers media rangers media investment

Agree0 Disagree1

Are those company's not dissolved and no they haven't changed the names only company not dissolved is garrion security previously rangers security ltd

Agree0 Disagree0

McColl, unlike Mather, has invested no money in gers. Mather and McCoist seem to have a good relationship and the signing look good. sometimes it's better the devil you know.
