Hearing strong rumours tonight from a very reliable source of mine that rangers will bid to sign hibs striker jason cummings in the summer, cummings is keen to come to rangers, my source has also told me that our assistant manager davie weir wants us to sign kyle lafferty on loan until the end of the season with it becoming a permanent deal in the summer but mark warburton is not so keen on signing lafferty, good on warbs, I wouldn't touch this guy with a bargepole.

I've said a few times on here he is one I would have no problem. Seems to be going through a bad spell since that mug Stokes joined they don't seem to play well together.
He would fit in well in our team. Say what you want about him he works hard and can drop deep and link up play and as we have seen this season he can score a lot of different goals. Headers, outside the box and good old poachers goals. I think our manager would do a good job with him if it's true.
You where spot on with O'Halloran W15 so I hope you are right with this one as well.

Said ages ago we'd sign Cummings, then again hibs doing business with rangers, if they don't get promoted i wonder what their excuse will be.
Ryan Hardie done really well yesterday, beating defenders and getting the wrong side of them quite a lot.
Lafferty can jog on.

I wouldn't want Cummings or Lafferty anywhere near our squad. Playing wise both are good enough on their game but they come with heavy baggage.
Rightly or wrongly Cummings gets dogs abuse at away grounds for that story about the party he attended. We don't want that every second week, and he gets it big time at Ibrox.
From what I've gathered MW does his research into a players character as well as their talent and both these guys would struggle to impress with that.
Also can't see Weir championing Lafferty, he nearly gave him a slap a few times when he was captain if stories are to be believed.

Fully agree Recob. I have to believe that Warburton and McParland have been looking wider than the SPL and the Scottish Championship and I can't see anyone in the Ibrox hierarchy wanting Lafferty anywhere near the Cub.
We want players that get us headlines on the back page, not the front page!

Cummings is a great player, but would bring trouble I think. If warbs could curb him and bring him on then could be a good bit of buisness. Hibs would play hard ball tho.

Instead of giving credit where credit is due because you didn't say it you try to be negative about people who did know about the moh deal, I know the o'halloran family my friend and if you had read my posts way back you would have known that, I posted way back what exactly would happen and it did as I had big inside info on it, simple as that!

I did read your earlier posts, I meant it hardly needed Sherlock Holmes to figure out we might be interested in a guy who just ripped us apart and plays for St Johnstone.
It's like Jason Cumming's, he's scored a few against us therefore he is on our radar. Lafferty has a link to us in the past and needs a team and goes out with a girl from Glasgow. It's not rocket science. If you broke the polish goalkeeper who I'd never heard of then I would have been impressed.
I'm not saying you don't know the O'halloran family though, I just think everybody who was at Ibrox that night also thought we should be in for the boy.

Cummings would be excellent signing would 100% take him. Would also take lafferty as he has a bit of quality that we would benefit from and knows how to get goals in important games.

W15th I hope I didn't come across as if I was being condescending towards you, I enjoy your rumours and banter. Always gives me a chuckle.
I think it was more an outburst at the two players mentioned. I really hope we don't get them.
The one thing about this team we're building is they all seem like model pro's in my opinion. Having the likes of Lafferty and even Cummings about the dressing room would have a negative impact.
I'd be happy with that level of striker, just not either of those two.
Cummings is still young and perhaps MW would sort him out, but for some reason anytime Hibs bring through a local striker they end up either on the gear or fighting in nightclubs every weekend. Don't know if the goldfish bowl of Glasgow is the right place for that type of character.
The boy might prove me wrong and go onto be a star but I think there's better out there minus the baggage.

Am with recbob a wouldn't want any of the 2 of them have to say if most fans are honest lafferty wasn't that great 1st time around if it wasn't for his day at rugby park when he had his best game in helping secure the title they would all be saying no thanks!
