I was luckily enough to be in the company of John Brown and the Goalie at a **************** do in ****************. The talk obviously got onto the share issue and the current situation. Neither of them bought any shares and Andy said that Ally is only there to make sure there is a club to support. During a speech he said that "no matter what the record books say, 140 years lives on as long as we support the new team.' Seems that some of our legends are still not sure about what we are being fed. Brown said that Ally 100% knows the reason he walked out and needs to bide his time before either of them can go public.
This will be the same two guys who saw fit to charge the Fighting Fund £500 appearance money for turning out at a benefit? laughable.
If the above post is true about charging the fighting fund 500 that is disgusting on every level. .normal fans gave their last few quid for that fund to save the club , not pay people who have already feathered their nests out of the club. Shocking

These are the people we should be listening to! Not Green & his puppet McCoist! £500 for these two legends or £700,000 a year for manager who can't beat Stirling? He should be standing up like bomber did. Show us the deeds Green!!

I honestly believe Brown does know something but he can't prove it. There is no way he would have done what he done if there wasn't something in it, look at the people who didn't want Green anywhere near us and look at where they are now.I think we should just be glad to have a team to support. all this history pish just let the sceptic fans worry about it, before they know what is happening we will be back winning trophys.
So it was allys fault we lost to Stirling? Did he not pick his best team available? Did he change formation from other games? Did he score an own goal or miss a sitter? Every team loses sometime. It was always gonna happen. And probably will again. It's not fm2013 or FIFA. It's real life. Sometimes it just doesn't happen for you on the day. Tell me a team who never lose. ?

Has anybody took in to consideration that if green strips us then sells us on the chances of having monies to spent on strengthening our squad could be another 3seasons away if we make it straight back up no flaws. i can't quite put my finger on it but somethin is not adding up. if green does invest his 20 million plus then i will believe but un till then we have to be weary fellow bears. w.a.t.p r.t.i.d
The goalie and bomber were great players in their days but now full of their own importance i attended a meeting at ibrox when brown addressed the fans it was like the old union speeches we need that two like a hole in the head we must move on Charles Green is the only show in town we are top of our league i know its only the third division but thats what we are a third division team but we are on our way back we have crowds in excess of 40,000 every home game we have just had a strong share issue so come on lads lets stand as one lets put the past behind us and support Mr Green and this great football club mistakes have been made and not all by our club i think most agree on that but its a fresh start so come on onwards and upwards cooperboy!!!!!!!

I think Green can't be trusted until we see how the money raised is spent, I still don't see it stated anywhere how much money it is taking to run the club on a daily basis right now. At least if we knew that we could figure out how much money should be there to help the team strengthen when the embargo ends. Until that happens I'll remain sceptical about Green.

Charles Green doesn't decide the valuation of Rangers- the price of the shares on the market determines the value of the club(plc)
Valuation of the club(plc) may go up or down depending on trading on the stock market.
Rangers (plc) share price at close of trading today (21/12/12) was 76.50p
When the AIM market opens on Monday, the value of shares may rise or fall or maintain the current price- market forces determine these things.
F.A.O. O.P. Andy Goram, in his column in the Sun (21/12/12) indicated he was sceptical about Green but has now had a change of mind.
As for Bomber, I have no idea what he is wittering on about! So I have nothing to add!
The proof of C.G's credentials will be enacting his proclamations- Edmiston House will be converted into a superstore & sports bar, restoring Ibrox Stadium to the high standard it should be (it's not falling apart but has been neglected for far too long & requires maintenance) & providing funds for Ally to add to the squad.

I've met Bomber as well & he's a top man. Our kids were lucky to have him teach them! Thinks he's a big man? Maybe because he is so get behind him & not this Yorkshire imposter!! True bears stick together remember that.

Who owns property in scotland isnt a state secret.
C Green has done everything he has said he would so far. He has even stated that selling the naming rights to Ibrox would be considered if the money is right. He's not trying to pull the wool over anybodies eyes. Maybe it's Brown and the goalie that are. Who would you prefer to be running the club at this time, CG or JB? Aye right thought so mate.....
I have some bad news for Celtic fans, there is only one holding company that owns all the clubs and that is the SFA. A football club is not some stand alone entity, it cannot exist in of itself. A club only exists in relation to other clubs, its a membership, and the authority on membership is the SFA, they hold and own all the club memberships. Proof of this is simple, if Celtic have their club membership removed by the SFA then Celtic ( the company) does not have a club to own.
The SFA agreed to a transfer of club membership from one company to another, this does not in any sense of the word mean new club.
The history goes with the club not the company as my Celtic example proves.
