First time post, was at the game on Saturday at hospitality and the guy I was sitting next to said he knows David Murray and is considering coming back to rangers as he's invested money with guys from Dubai on property or something said he's meant to be waiting with the outcome after the whyte case, just passing on what I heard.

also Alex Rae was in chatting before the game and I thought he spoke very well and said Scott brown won't be running the show if he was there, I have mixed views about Murray but we are in need of help and money.

Nonsense about Murray, he stands to lose over £13milion personally in the Tax Case, he is closer to bankruptcy than we are.

the fact that he's a terrible manager/ coach doesn't exactly lend much credance to the fact he would come up with a tactic or give the instructions to stop scott brown.


don't get the fascination with a sugar daddy type coming in to save the club, what's wrong with just backing the club and supporting dk and the three bears cause if it wasn't for them we'd still be in the championship!

The S*n newspaper daid this morning Murrays company is now worth 150 million so there may be someyhing in it. Albeit maybe shareholders may own most of it.

If we are indeed talking about Alex Rae the footballer then I never rated him man, Scott Brown is as good as Barry Ferguson was I would say.

Heard a rumour along the same lines involving Murray and Saudi investors 2 months ago at a corporate golf day with work.

Heard it second hand so hearing it from yourself prsoloyal maybe there's some truth. The golf day had numerous business owners there incliding men who have a voice in the Inbox boardroom, never met any of them but mixing drink and bravado usually something gets said that maybe shouldn't.

I definately think Murray would like some sort of redemption after the Whyte/ Green fiasco.

Scott Brown won the league in his 1st season with them but only because he was suspended😂Then the nxt one he won it was the yr we went in to Admin then the rest we wernt in the league til this season with a team full of washed up 2nd Div players. but hey that's what they class as a club ledgend

When Murrays company folded he bought their assets using his personal wealth for pennies on the pound and simply started back up again. Morally wrong but it is what it is. His business on day one was worth about £100m. His own personal wealth will be worth much more.

Doubt he'd ever want to come back to rangers but you never know I suppose.

Everytime he played against broony the loony, baz proved he was head and shoulders above him! Honestly no biased whatsoever, broony is NEVER in barry ferguson's league!

the rumour started was by myself a few months ago read my prevoius posts. a friend of mine works for an investment company and murray was over there discussing a deal 2 provide steel for 2 new oil wells. the saudis asked him about wanting 2 invest in a or football clubs the 2 clubs that where being discussed where the gers and leeds utd. I've not heard anything since as the guy is only home for a couple of weeks a year for tax reasons or something. his company are based in Edinburgh and are brokering the deal for the steel.

Thought i would get my bit in those who think scotty (andreas iniesta) broon is good are deluded what does he bring to the table let's get real here yes he's been good for celtic but why has he never went down to the prem?

And proved himself instead of a 1 horse league were he stands out now couldn't help myself before rangers were booted out what did we scotty broon the die hard gers fan and celtic do back then?

Nothing, in fact rangers were the number 1 team on 3 titles in row plus european final also don't forget what medals did brown win as celtic player back then? How many managers did sir walter smith the great get the better of strachan, mowbray and lennon. so that's 3 managers rangers dominated celtic all while Scott Brown was there. why because we had top players back then in our midfield like davis and mendes etc who were able to contain lego muncher why does scott brown look so good against us, common sense.

we don't have the calibre of midfielders now so that's why he looks so good against us if we were to bring back for example steven davis or another top international player do you think scott brown would look good then absolute no chance in hell he looks good because or midfield is powder puff and light weight, Fact.

We all hate Brown but i wish he was in our team wee pr*** though he is. He dictates every domestic game the manky mob play. i'd say on his day Fergie was slightly better but i saw them both at Hampden in 2006 V the French when Caldwell scored and the 2 were magnificent that day. It just shows where we are at as a Club when the PA Announces Alex Rae as a "Rangers Legend" on Saturday at HT to do the Draw. the mind boggles.

barry was a far better player in a far better team .
scott brown is a good player and has got better over the last year but to mention him as good as barry is just crazy he is maybe as good at breaking up the game as lennon was but barry was a goalscorer / provider and defended every bit as good and was the all round midfielder / captain

Chinabairn, i agree can't stand him he's cocky and arrogant jerk but what would rangers do right now for scott brown? Its funny old story he was rangers daft and it was us believe it or not who he wanted to join first until the green side offered him 25 thousand, moussa dembelle dollars. hey who wouldn't take that money. can't blame the poor person going to them lol. like i said, keep the faith fellow bears and have faith in pedro. painful and soul destroying as it is, but good things do come to those who wait and we have waited since 2012, so our time is coming and we will have our very own scotty brown in midfield soon. it takes time, rome wasn't built in a day remember.

I very rarely post on this and haven't done in a long time. Was at the shambles of tht game on Sat n was talking to somebody and if it's correct in what he said then we have made a good start with signings for next year. Players mentioned- Jamie Walker, Sam nicholson, Graham Dormans, Steven naismith and Kenny McLean. You here a lot of rumours so only passing what he said. The boy mentioned something about his dad's friends with the agents. Also need to get rid of a lot of players as well tht teams a shambles.

Sam nicklson can't even get in hearts first team but yet we should sign him along with other average spl players do people not realise most of the crap we have now will be good players for these spl sides bringing in nicklson hays and walker jack will not get us any closer to Celtic. Celtic are the marker we are trying to catch so if there not good enough for Celtic which that lot are not then there not good enough for us!

Negative, right now ain't the time to be a negative rangers supporter now is the time to be heard an support the team even more than ever wether we sign walker jack, crawford, nicholson, paterson, moult, dorrans, naismith etc, it don't matter we all need give pedro the chance in the window to get deadwood out and new faces in who he thinks will serve the club well who cares how far tic are in front we are rangers football club the most successful in the world . for instance would you have haliday or jack? Holt or dorrans? Wags or naismith?

I think our midfield would benefit hugely from signing Jack. He's technically very good and has that bit of physicality we've been missing all season. Also, Rossiter should hopefully be fit for the start of next season and will be like a new signing, as will Niko when he returns from injury. So there's a brand new midfield 3, 2 "ball winners" in Jack and Rossiter and a creative midfielder in Kranjcar for a total cost of what 250k (for Jack) .

We could do a lot worse than Nicholson and Walker of Hearts and also wee Crawford from Accies. Celtic took Mackay Stevens and Armstrong from an average dundee Utd team where both were good and now it's fair to say Armstrong is probably the most complete midfielder in Scotland who could comfortable walk into most EPL teams outwith the top 4/ 5. Who's to say the players we're being linked to from Aberdeen and Hearts couldn't do the same. Don't get the negativaty towards signing Scottish/ British.

look i'd like to go down the route that gets us challenging celtic not just closer to them and i don't think signing a few foreigners would do us any harm.
