Believable22 Unbelievable71

Awesome surname I hope we sign him. george

Agree0 Disagree1

Is his first name Quasi

Agree3 Disagree0

Modo Watp. How do you pronounce that surname?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he a professional bell ringer??

Agree0 Disagree0

That guy is 32 so I can't see that happening!

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought they signed a good looking chap called Frodo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn, t ring a bell?

Agree0 Disagree0

Good looking chap not As good looking As criberi

Agree0 Disagree0

Now, now bears you don't want him getting the hump

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard we are interested in wurzel gummidge apparently he is outstanding in midfield LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a definate just a hunch

A former Rangers player will be unveiled shortly. Ricky Foster - . Mal

Believable40 Unbelievable75

I used to go on holiday with his family and my family when we were younger. I know him well. I know he enjoyed his time there before. And wants to return to Scotland as his wife is wanting to be a teacher in scotland and not england. But he is on about 50 thousand a month at Bristol city. All this is fact now I am not saying he is signing for Rangers but it wouldn't come as a surprise.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh good more on the wage bill we have enough and good enough player to push the dhims in the SPL but we are in div2, taking in the same money as last year (freezing the SB price)but with a wage bill that's already £1.5m higher than last season. I hear you say ah £1.5m is nothing but if we only take in £8m (after tax) from SB it is. Remember CG said last year we had to slash the wage bill that was over £7m (players only). i'm not trying to be downbeat but open our eyes this time please

Agree0 Disagree1

I seriously hope not. He was a player who divided opinion but as someone who attended every game he played in, I thought he was one of the poorest players we had signed in recent times. Certainly not any better than what we have currently and again not worth anything like the wages being quoted. I would far rather see us play our developing players like Cole, Gasparotto etc in defence and us to play one of our developing right backs. What we need now, is to get Goian and Boca off the books, bring in a couple of established centre halfs who can provide immediate options and strength to the back line and also allow for the younger defenders to come through. We will lose players to injury and suspension so this is an area we need to focus on. Midfield and up front, we are fine for the level and division. Also, if we could somehow punt Black, that would make me very happy.

50,000 at Bristol City!!, Do you mean 5000?

Agree1 Disagree0

If you read the rumour right it says 50k a month if he was only on 5k a month there would be loads a clubs after him in lower leagues, I think he's a decent player hope he's signs, but doubt he will

Agree0 Disagree0

Another ex player being rumoured, nothing new here then. move along folk!

Agree0 Disagree0

That's 50 Thousand over the month mate and includes bonuses.

Agree0 Disagree0

£50,000 a month, not week - that's £12, 500 a week (in a 4 week month).

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not out of contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is true as I have been told by a good source he is waiting to get released from Bristol

Agree0 Disagree0

That's rubbish. For a start, he's not on a free transfer and although still at Bristol City he is in contact with Toronto Timbers, Kenny Miller's club. Plus he was definately the worst signing of recent years, if that boy didn't have pace he'd be scrubbing toilets. Can't believe Walter wanted him in the first place.

Agree0 Disagree0

Foster has a bit of pace but surely young Andy Mitchell deserves a chance.
Peralta can play at R. B, but with Goian and Boca's future yet to be decided an experienced CB is more of a priority.
Ally if you are going to sign a right back make sure he can cross a ball - What about Tom Hateley?

Agree0 Disagree0

He was at Ibrox on Wednesday for signing talks

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think so pal. He is on £15k a week at bristol city. Would love to see him back though, done well for us and he is a Rangers supporter.

Agree0 Disagree0

In one of he papers today that he could be on the way back 24/06

Agree0 Disagree0

I reported this 5 days ago that he would be signing. he's at Murray park now - MAL

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on.

A small bird tells me that St. mirren are wanting to sign ex rangers striker nacho novo and plan to have signing talks with novo and his agent, has anyone else heard this?

Believable25 Unbelievable55

Wrong again

Agree0 Disagree0

Who gives a monkeys! As long as he's not having signing talks at Ibrox I'm happy.

Agree1 Disagree1

Who was the small burd jannette krankie

Agree1 Disagree0

There's No small birds in paisley. lol

Agree2 Disagree0

Dont want players who walk away

Agree1 Disagree1

19 Jun 2013 23:26:42
Nacho novo never walked away so get your facts correct

Agree1 Disagree0

Think ul find he didn't walk away clueless

Agree1 Disagree0

You sure it wasn't three Little
Birds . Don't worry!
billy h

Agree0 Disagree0

He is in talks with east fife according to STV. They have already signed ex hearts pair Nade and Bouzid.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh I doubt he'd even get a game for St Mirren nowadays but I'm happy after all his patter about how he'd play for Rangers for nothing that somebody else takes him and he doesn't land back at Ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

Were would he find a st mirren strip in that spanish village lol

Agree0 Disagree0

~Nacho is signing for East Fife!

Am I the only one that thinks Chris Hegarty has a lot of potential? I thought that in the games he played at his natural role of CB last season, he showed that he could possibly be a decent premier league defender. Being played at RB in a shaky defence may not have helped his cause but I reckon that a few games with a settled backline and an experienced partner at CB could really do wonders for him. let's remember, he is a young boy, typically centre halfs hit their peak around the age of 30.

Namba

Believable32 Unbelievable32

Is this a serious entry? I saw Hegarty playing CH last season and he had some awful games. Everybody likes to see boys come through the ranks and be heroes, especially if Scots or Ulstermen. However, he doesn't fit the bill. Genuinely hope I'm wrong, and the age argument is ridiculous. 30? Look at the boy Man City signed last season. He is world class now, so at 30 he should be able to play the whole defence himself, using your logic.

Agree1 Disagree1

He is woeful. Very poor defender who also gives you nothing going forward. Div 3 is his level and he isn't the answer going up the leagues. He should be given a free and should take Cribari, Faure & Argyriou with him

Agree1 Disagree0

Namba's right, centre halves do peak at about 30. Just because some players look world class at 20 doesn't mean that all players should have reached their full potential by then. You also have to bear in mind that elite level athletes don't hit their physical peak until 28-30. In other words, give the boy a chance, he's doing fine.

Agree2 Disagree0

Im pretty shocked at the responses. Wallace aside, Hegarty was our best defender last year. He's young, agressive, brave and most importantly he's got blue blood. FUTURE club captain given the opportunity, wears his heart in his sleeve and stayed for the fight. Deserves our patience.

Agree2 Disagree0

Future captain! OMG if that's the future heaven help us. He is rotten, poor defender and even more limited going forward. It's a very sad day when some Rangers supporters are happy to tolerate 4th rate players who wouldn't get a game with any team in Div 1 let alone the spl

Agree0 Disagree0

Only reason he stayed for the fight is because no one else wanted him

Agree0 Disagree1

Hegarty is a decent young player but he does need to develop. He deserves time.

He certainly has better potential than Perry who was by far our worst defender last season. Hegarty is definitely a better option for the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

Apart from Ian Ure, Billy McNeill, Ron McKinnon, Gordon McQueen, Paul Hegarty,.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure if he will eventually make it but he has done enough to get a chance - only played a handful of games really. Any one remember how poor Craig Moore was at right back when he was 20 and by the time he was 25 to 28 he had some outstanding games for us in Europe when played in his correct position. Some guys develop faster than others. Give Hegarty a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes u are only 1

Agree0 Disagree0

You Must be joking? I watched Hegarty up in Peterhead when we scraped a win and he was shockingly bad that day. I have watched him since and has been just as bad. I would let him go for free.

Agree0 Disagree0

Then Craig went to my other supported team Newcastle United

Agree0 Disagree0

You guys need to get off the Lads back same folk that want us to sign Berra & Bikey pay them 10k a week what absolute f@ds some of our fans are honestly!

Scott arfield signs a 3 year contract with rangers on Friday so much for the guy who said he knew arfield and said he definitely wasn't signing he was talking absolute mince because arfield is most definitely going to be a rangers player

Believable58 Unbelievable49

Don't believe this one for a minute.

And why would we want anymore midfielders? Law, McLeod, Peralta, Hutton, Black and McCulloch if needed?

Agree0 Disagree0

How about waiting until he actually puts pen to paper before criticising what other people have posted.

Agree1 Disagree0

Why are you so certain mate? Would be a great addition tho. One for the future

Agree0 Disagree1

He will be an excellent addition to the squad if we do sign him. He is certainly better than Hutton who will never be anything more than mediocre.

McCulloch is not a midfield player and unless we see some defenders signed then I suspect that he will be a fixture at centre back next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope we can land Airfield on Friday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonsense. Not a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just got that there. Land airfield lol

Agree0 Disagree0

That will be me your talking about then, I still do know him and he still ain't signing. When did you decide to make this up, was it in the pub?

fauldsrfc

Agree1 Disagree1

How many midfielders do we need? Seriously we do not need to sign any midfielders. Our squad is a ridiculous size at the moment. I'm worried about our wage bill.

Agree0 Disagree0

Absoulute nonsense!

Agree0 Disagree0

5pm on Friday and no news. Does the OP have an update on the deal?

Agree0 Disagree0

It's Friday mate and no arfield :)

Agree0 Disagree0

It's Sunday - has he signed yet and the news hasn't been released?
