Steve Clark to be appointed after the old firm game.

19 Dec 2017 23:48:15
Here's hoping

20 Dec 2017 06:19:11
RfcChris, i would take stevie clarke in a minute mate, but trust me when i say his family would disown him if he were to become our new manager! How good is your source on this one mate?

20 Dec 2017 08:55:38
In this day and age it shouldn’t matter who you grew up supporting. If you get the chance to manage Rangers or Celtic most people would take it

20 Dec 2017 09:02:35
Clarke wil nae take the job smell tic daft

If was clarke on radar why did they not go for him sooner b4 killie?

Rangers have someone in mind wether it oneill pulis clarke gio de boer butch wright sherwood etc we just need to be patient wait and see who it is
said it once say it again if a big name pulis mclaren etc comes in i think it the start of the ass ley era at rangers king n co can't afford managers like that millions a year so get ready for sports direct fc stadium etc etc

20 Dec 2017 11:31:09
someone will need to let me know what stevie clarkes done to be even mentioned on here for me that's a woeful appointment considering killie would b due a fee and there's better managers out of work that would cost nil

20 Dec 2017 11:50:36
Exactly I've posted his stats on rangers banter just can't see what he brings tho the party

20 Dec 2017 12:23:53
If he really is a candidate I guess it shows the market we’re looking at.

20 Dec 2017 14:13:43
Wouldn't mind Clarke. Steve McLaren?

20 Dec 2017 15:59:18
Nothing to do with managerial candidates but was reading about Dorrans injury and it mentions Rossiter. Am I the only one who completely forgot he was still on the books? I really liked him but surely his time is up. He’s never fit

20 Dec 2017 16:06:02
How about alan curbishley? For nxt manager

20 Dec 2017 16:38:28
I would love to see ally McCourt back at I've of. Not as manager but think we could use him as club ambassador maybe alongside Smith and greig

20 Dec 2017 18:17:21
Steve Clark hope no

20 Dec 2017 20:37:30
I would take Steve Clarke. Good contacts and good coach who I have a feeling would be comfortable with a director of football.

21 Dec 2017 12:04:54
Would nt have him near ibrox unless in a lesser role not a managsr but good coach

21 Dec 2017 12:49:12
would be very happy with steve clark

22 Dec 2017 00:33:35
Clarke is staying put @ Killie

19 Dec 2017 02:29:12
Rumours? Here's a beauty. Last week I posted that a conversation in the directors' box during the Ross County game hinted strongly at an ex-player returning in January. Now it's rumoured that Tony Pulis could become the new manager in January. One of his favourite players happens to be Charlie Adam. Will they both arrive after the bells?

19 Dec 2017 09:35:41
If we manage to get pulis I will be surprised as his wages would be huge I'd think, but aye hopefully we can get him and Adam, suppose we'll have to wait and see

19 Dec 2017 10:46:11
Looks like stoke are going to beat us to Pulis if we were ever actually interested.

19 Dec 2017 10:50:52
Pulis will become either Stoke or Swansea manager. There's more chance of Mark Hughes being named Rangers manager if the money was there.

19 Dec 2017 12:06:50
Didn't Charlie Adam play for Stoke at the weekend?

19 Dec 2017 15:08:25
OMG Adams is about 12 stone no way man

19 Dec 2017 15:09:53
I'd like the board to talk to P Lambert

19 Dec 2017 16:31:37
12 stone I'd love to be 12 stone again

19 Dec 2017 17:01:16
Paul Lambert has struggled with his mental health recently. I wish him all the best but the Rangers manager job is extremely stressful.

19 Dec 2017 17:07:13
pulis to stoke, Hughes to take over as Wales boss. still leaving us with nobody!

19 Dec 2017 17:43:29
Is 12, stone heavy lol you must be built like a twig son.

19 Dec 2017 19:46:55
I'm a lean mean machine 😂😂

19 Dec 2017 02:14:13
I see Steven Naismith is touting himself for a move back to Scotland. Not quite a 'come and get me Rangers' but said he will have to consider his future at Norwich in january and that he would like to finish his career in Scotland. I know this will divide opinion but I would take him in a heartbeat.

19 Dec 2017 07:03:36
yup naisy done us over but in terms of ability and attitude i’d def take him back

19 Dec 2017 07:03:53
Would certainly add something up top if he could keep fit as he's just back from injury, personally i see aberdeen going for him can't see us doing it

19 Dec 2017 07:10:18
I can't forgive him for his comments and now he can't get a game in english championship he all of a sudden wants to come back

19 Dec 2017 08:15:51
I would take him back, he is talking about rangers and Kilmarnock so wages not an issue. So what if he said some things in the past? as soon as he score against the beggers all would be forgotten

19 Dec 2017 10:35:20
He will always be a rat just like Lafferty, Whittaker and McGregor.

19 Dec 2017 11:16:31
Imagine your boss comes to you and asks you to take a pay cut to save the company from folding, but it folds anyway because your boss (whyte) was a lying cheating C U Next Tuesday. Wouldn’t you be pi55ed? I certainly would!

19 Dec 2017 12:17:06
Ye got to hold it against the guys for furthering their careers when Green was messing us about. I’m 100% sure you would show the same loyalty if you were given the opportunity to get a substantial wage rise and further your career

19 Dec 2017 19:49:09
Naisy n morelos up front together sounds gd

20 Dec 2017 11:54:50
He’s a rat.

20 Dec 2017 16:36:59
He would be a no for me. Not because comments or that he left but he could have transferred and at least got rangers a fee. I get family comes first but back then we could have used the fee even if it was way under market value

21 Dec 2017 12:06:56
Take naisy on loan till end of season to prove fitness would also like james mccarthur

21 Dec 2017 12:50:59
Not good enough and he's a rat. will end up at killie

21 Dec 2017 19:15:26
Miller wore a Tim’s top and we cheer him, so Naismith back is a no brainier.

19 Dec 2017 02:01:45
I have heard from a reliable source that as soon as newcatle is sold mike ashley will buy the club in full and fire funds into players as he wants a team that can compete in europe and also he will bring in steve maclaren as manager so that we can challenge celtic next season.

19 Dec 2017 07:12:52
Im beginning to think that might happen and that's the reason were dragging this appointment out

19 Dec 2017 08:17:53
Why would he spend loads on the club and players to compete in Europe then get a S#ite manager?

19 Dec 2017 08:44:24
Would that be such a disaster? Newcastle have never been short of a bob or two despite the moans of Newcastle fans. Truth is, in the EPL, you have to talking much bigger sums to compete with Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd. In the SPL, Ashley could spend relatively modest amounts and still bring in big players. Personally, I would see such a development as positive for Rangers.

19 Dec 2017 09:19:49
Selling your soul to the devil springs to mind. Don’t want him or his cohorts anywhere near the club.

19 Dec 2017 09:40:07
Said that weeks ago ass ley will buy king out and got shot down same as i said was down to ass ley mcinnes never came as if he going to buy gers and turn it all sports direct fc . stadium etc he will want his own man as manager if pulis is in come january it could be the start of it all were else rangers Going to afford pulis wages?

19 Dec 2017 09:41:26
Personally I think we do need new owners to buy us outright but after all the mess the fat cockney left behind I'd not have him anywhere near ibrox ever again, but that's just my opinion

19 Dec 2017 09:47:22
Baz. There is a saying, "pride comes before the fall". Ashley is a businessman and a very successful one at that. Whether we like him or not is irrelevant. He didn't do what Whyte and Green and that shower did to us. I'd take his money. Same with the bitterness about Naismith. The man had to think of his future and that of his family. It wasn't his fault that Rangers went tits up. I'd take Naisy back on a year deal. I think Morelos would score even more with Naismith lying just behind.

19 Dec 2017 12:20:37
Believe me guys if you spoke to Newcastle fans about Ashley you wouldn't want him near the club.

19 Dec 2017 12:48:47
The main reason we are dragging this appointment is we thought DMI was in the bag and had no plan B.

19 Dec 2017 17:01:30
newcastle fans are full of crap they hated ashley that much they forgot to boycott the games and the merchandise once he sells up their only going one way straight down their a kid on big club

21 Dec 2017 10:36:58
I've heard this as well, that Ashley is poised to make a play. Wants to get Sports Direct brand on the European stage and has given up on this happening with Newcastle. Have heard it's Billy Davies he wants to bring in though.
