Players of that calibre would be reluctant to sign for a team where wages are not guaranteed. Cometh the Tax man.

Heard a rumour today that Kirk Broadfoot is off to Bristol City in January. Don't know if there's any truth in the rumour, just thought I would share.

Would be good, but can't see us getting Jordan Rhodes

surely if whyte is any kind of businessman he would wait until big jela has played in the euros if he wants to sell. how many times have you seen the value of a player rise on the back of a good tournament....K
That's the thing: there are doubts about whether he is any kind of businessman.
Am i right in saying Jela is only 3rd of 4th choice up front for Croatia? No guarentees he will actually even start a game.
Jelavic is not even sure of a place in the squad. His last goal and one of only two that he has scored was over 2 years ago against Qatar.
If a decent offer comes in for jelavic do we think he would force it thru or wait till it was right for the club
You have to play before you can have a good tournament. Jelavic wants a move to try getting a game for his country as SPL form means nothing.
He is nowhere near as good as you think he is
It's abit of a gambol with his injury record, he could be knackered for the euros and then his value caould go down.

templeton will be on his way in january due to wadges not being paid by hearts so will use clause to terminate his contract, driver may also be an option depending on money available to super ally. fridge players such as fleck, broadfoot will be free to speak to other clubs. ally and fleck don't get on and he has made that clear

any news about transfers in january. we could be doing with a creative midfielder and more fire power as it looks like jelavic will be sold if the price is around the 7-10 million mark
