Rangers Rumours
Please stop guessing about the takeover, if there were any significant developments; either a firm offer or a decision by Whtye to walk away the stock market would have to be informed. As for the land surrounding Ibrox, David Murray doesn't own all the land, Glasgow City Council rejected a planning permission request by Rangers to develop it. I do agree though that Ellis is only involved to develop that land.

Rangers are lining up a move for Plymouth striker Bradley Wright-Phillips as a possible replacement for Kenny Miller.
Birmingham had hoped to sign Miller, 31, for £650,000 but he is due to hold talks with Bursaspor today over a £50,000 a week two-year deal.

Ed just heard from a reasonable source that vela from arsenal could come to rangers on loan. Know anythin ? {ed's note - I was asked about this earlier and did have an ask around, all I could find out was what I already knew: Arsenal have offered him out on loan. They had a lot of interest from outside the EPL but very little from within it, their preference is to loan him to the EPL, but it depends on first team chances, they want guarantees he will play.}

Just heard this from a very trusted source, Miller has signed a pre contract with a club, but hes not saying who it is, hes keeping his cards very close to his chest.
Whyte deal is dead in the water he has walked away. Something to do with the land that surrounds ibrox.
Walter walked away from rangers last week saying hes sick of it, if it wasnt for Martin Bain going round to his house and coaxing him back.
I really hope this is not true but as I say its from a very close friend of mine.

This is utter rubish and I'm disappointed with myself for rising to the bait. If you do have the clubs interest at heart have you missed the news that Whyte hopes to see the takeover completed by the end of this month. The Miller situation is clearly fluid with him going to either Fiorentina or Birmingham. Don't care which, if he is not prepared to sign a new contract, let him go now and try and get some value. The rest of your post is just made up nonesense.

(12) (24

why do you say this is made up nonesense? is it so hard to believe that walter smith is totaly pissed off with it all after publicly stating his grevances with loyds banking group?

As for whytes takeover deal, as you see from more recent posts you can see this to be true because of the ground round Ibrox, the deal has hit a snag. Do you think whyte and ellis are buying rangers because they are life long rangers supporters? of course not, they are buying Rangers so they can hope to make a profit, and one of the biggest profits they would make is developing the ground round Ibrox. Murry is wanting to keep this land if not it all at least have a share of the profit they make, this is why the deal has hit a major snag.
As for you to say I don't have the clubs interests at heart, of course i do, I have been a season ticket holder for 15 years, go to most away and european games, Rangers takes up a big part of my life. Maybe you should try it sometime.

Why do I say this is made up nonesense?

Has Miller signed a pre-contract with any club? Your post said he had.
Has the Stock Exchage been advised that the takeover is off? You clearly stated Whyte has walked away, the deal is dead in the water. Why have the Stock Exchange not been advised as required, probably because they are still talking and going through the due dilligence process. I note the change in emphasis in the second post to hit a snag. Hitting a snag is perhaps a little different to dead in the water.

Not a great track record in terms of accuracy thus far. What faith can be placed in the rest of your original post!

whats the point in you two starting debates over information neither of you know well about no one knows whats going on. and if you didn't know this is a RUMOURS PAGE so the person who is saying the deal is dead is just sharing a rumour that he heard about, it doesn't mean its true but it doesn't mean its false, its just a ''RUMOUR''. so don't reply saying its utter rubbish unless you have 100% strong evidence to back up your argument. if you don't agree with what the person says then you press the unbelievable button. theres no point in starting a silly argument over a ''RUMOUR'' being put on a rumours page. unless your argument and evidence is 100% true, and not evidence from stupid news page

Hopefully a rumour, to start to geniune people to start posting again. Instead of jealous Celtic fans posting on here.

Craig Whyte will take over Rangers by End of Febuary. The HMRC Investigation concludes this week, and its not only Rangers that are involved a few big teams including Man u are in it too, but all these clubs believe their isn't a case to answer and will be put to bed in next few days.

Rangers will sign two Players if Kenny Miller leaves, and by all accounts he still may sign a contract with Rangers, that's why he was playing yesterday. Goodwillie looks a certainty, with a rumour of Peter Lovenkrands may signing.

Hope this restores faith on this page which is a RUMOURS page! Not factual page

Have been informed by a coach at Hibs that Rangers have made an enquiry for Liam Miller as a summer signing. Apparently Ally McCoist is identifying signing tagets for when he takes over.

My son's maths teacher knows rangers assisant manger ally mccoist, and he came home from school on friday afternoon to tell me that his teacher says that rangers have tried to get permission from arsenal to try and get carlos vela on loan until the end of season.

This might not be true, so don't shoot me down or anything, i am just posting what i got told.

Ed could this rumour actually be true I'd love it to happen {ed's note - I don't know if Rangers are interested in him but he has been offered around for a loan for the rest of the season. It would be mad not to move for him, in my opinion, he just needs a run of games and he will be a star.}

I do wish folk would stop talking rubbish "my wifes cousin is kenny millers agent" bull
let's just have real possible rumours please not crap
what we heard yesterday at ibrox is rangers will wait on the outcome of the police enquiry before anything is done with goodwillie and also that it is David Murray that is preventing the takeover going through as he is wanting to keep an intresr in the land around ibrox

No players will be bought in this transfer window. although players being sold is another matter. craig whyte hopes by the end of january he will have gained control of club therefor we should have money to strenghten squad for next years champions league qualifiers (lets face it even with the chance of kenny leaving we still look the more likely to win the league), if kenny also stays beyond january without signing any pre contracts with other clubs, we may be able to give him a better contract to the ones he has been previously offered(because of new owners.)

The main reason Danny Wilson left last year is because his dad used to play in goals for Celtic (I used to work with him). Danny was only ever there to learn his trade and make use of the better facilities/training at Murray Park.
Ness will not leave or any of the other young players as the club needs them (unless silly money is paid)
Shame the Celtic supporters on here are so pathetic - they are gloating about Rangers finances when their own club is being bled dry by Lennon signing anything that doesn't drool too much.
We all know that Rangers will win the league, but keep up the posts Timothy! The spelling mistakes alone are worth it.

BTW - Leigh Griffiths will be signed soon - cracking wee player!
