Does anybody know when new strip is being launched?

Believable21 Unbelievable66

As long as there's red white and blue in it and 5 stars on the chest that will do us. Who making it again?

Agree0 Disagree3

It's Puma.

Agree0 Disagree1

I believe the Chairman of St Mirren has been given the contract to make the new strips, pure coincidence.

Agree4 Disagree0

Assuming the sponsors don't pull their names because of CG's statements.

Agree1 Disagree0

After today, the new strip will be a strip out. Marble Brass and copper. TTTS

Agree3 Disagree0

Actually the above comment regarding CG's statement might just have an effect on sponsorship. Hopefully not though but just look at other sportsmen that have said/done stupid stuff and the sponsors pull out. Rooney and Tiger Woods for eg.

Not sure where other fans stand on this, but Rangers as a club need to look more at the sporting side of football rather than the business. I understand that money needs to come in to support the club, but are they good enough as a team to win the champions league? Or are they always going to wallow in self pity? Athletes from all over the planet center on the Olympic games for no pay, just to prove they are the best at their chosen discipline. Football players should be no different :-)

Agree0 Disagree1

If found to be true whyte and green might be wearing the strips with the arrows on them

David Murray might be wearing that same strip. Home games only at the Bar-L!

Your not going to buy the new strip are you? Have we not gave this Arthur Daley (Green) enough cash? Or is it Arthur Daley (Whyte) we've bankrolled?

Agree2 Disagree1

We won't need a strip, if we don't have a team or ground unless we get this murky business fixed out! What's happening at the club I have spent most of my life following and supporting. I am heartbroken after the events of the past year and after all the efforts of our always loyal and generous supporters we are no better placed. It's alright saying Green stepped in and saved us he wasn't the only option and his takeover is clouded with lies deceit no deeds shown and every day new discrepancies appearing, god knows how BDO will deal with this. I really fear for our great club.
Bobby

Agree2 Disagree0

For once I actually agree with a Rangers fan, Gold star for Bobby. I think the concern amongst the Rangers fans shouldn't be when the new kit comes out but if you will have a team to wear it. Forget the Blue Knights that was another collective being bankrolled by a businessman who say a quick buck nothing more. It is really hard to see a way out BUT as the share issue has shown there are people out there who are willing to put money into Rangers. The problem is that as well as being the Chief Exec, CG is also the major shareholder in Rangers and if he gets kicked out what will he decide to do with his share in the club, he won't go away quietly you can believe that. Rock and a hard place and until all the answers are out there I would strongly suggest you keep your money in your pocket.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes bobby were is plod in all this, get them all in for a wee talk. Les

Good post Bobby - like you I have followed for more years than I care to remember & and bought season tickets x2, shares, annual release of up to 3 strips, and feel I deserve an medal for perseverance this year.
However, 9000 regular season ticket holders last year did not renew and I think it will be at least the same again this year, if comments around me in the govan rear are anything to go by.
I'm sorry to say I'm in need of some serious good news to convince me to part with any more ££ going into next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yip its a sad sad day when deceit is the order of the day
Murrays. deceit
Whyte, s. deceit
Greens. deceit
all in the name of our club yip in the name of our club and then say Scottish football needs Rangers fans your club needs you how hurtfull is that
i, ll buy tickets for single games next year until these deceitful b@stards are wiped clean from my club. Les

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed just a quick point I commented to you before but don't know if you will remember or not but I was saying we should be going for younger players instead of over hyped and over paid players. I mentioned to you young nicholas clark of queen of the south just wondering if you managed to have a look at his stats this season 39 goals or something it is I think we should take a punt on him low transfer fee low wages and could be a good buy for the future with a good sell on value potentially also lyle taylor at falkirk would be worth a punt to young players is the way we should be going and these 2 players know these lower leagues well and they will be hungry and eager to play for us. certainly worth a punt instead of getting 30 year old john daly. {The Ed039's Note - I did have a look at his stats and he has done well, but have never really see, but I seen Lyle Taylor for the first time last Saturday against Hibs and for the first hour he played very well)

I think we should go for young stevie may as hs contract is up at the end of the season his parent club is st johnstone but on loan to hamilton he's had 29aps and 2goals this season is it a good idea ed?
AndyBear98

Believable12 Unbelievable41

Why don't we go for Lyle Taylor of Falkirk, 29 goals this season. Cheap transfer fee and no massive wage demands

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree I think the young lad may looks like a good player he has scored back to back hat tricks in recent weeks and he is a free agent in the summer so he would be right down out alley regarding our transfer embargo.

Agree0 Disagree1

Yea sorry he's scored 21 goals my mistake

Agree0 Disagree0

29 games and 2 goals. you can't afford that.

Chas Green has a deal in place that if C White regains Ibrox Rangers will ground share at New ST Mirren and plans to have the bank-rolled Saints as a nursery when he moves Rangers into England.
source is from inside the Paisley Board
Green is not prepared to lose the 11-1 voting arrangement as Rangers would lose influence in next few years

Believable63 Unbelievable151

Biggest lot of Craig Whyte I have ever read on here, and yes I have considered it thoroughly before making that statement. Less than nonsense.

Post 1. You've hit the nail on the head. Heard this from an inside source also.

Agree0 Disagree0

This sounds as daft as someone buying Rangers with no money in order to liquidate it.

Agree0 Disagree1

Hit what nail on the head - please explain to me at what pyramid level are glasgow rangers ever going to enter english league football at? it just isn't going to happen. afcw

Agree3 Disagree0

How on earth can rangers make money and survive with the capacity
of new st mirren park, that's one reason why it won't happen. Secondly
and please get this into your head no scottish team will ever be allowed into english football NEVER. jimbo

Agree3 Disagree0

Already losing 1m a month apparently and now we are supposed to be considering slashing the season ticket sales by at least half - - REEAALLYY?

Agree0 Disagree1

! Brillant! Just when you think he have heard it all. I still think breakaway european leagues will happen in the next 10 years. football isn't driven by the fans anymore its driven by money and greedy players. the man citys, chelseas & psg have drove football to a quicker financial meltdown when it comes to wages and its only a matter of time before european leagues (like rugby) with big bucks is the way forward with or without uefa. If all the big clubs with the big players jumped to new set up without uefa a new body, all the rest would follow like sheep. Would only take the agreement of the top 12-20 clubs in europe to change it

Agree0 Disagree1

Made my day. ffs kevin bridges got nothing on yoo lol. PRICELESS.

Agree0 Disagree1

16 Apr 2013 22:09:38
maybe that's why they voted no

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would any club want to be associated with the mess that is currently going on?

Agree1 Disagree0

Even by the standards of some of the garbage posted on here, that is a woeful attempt. away and hang your head in shame.

Agree0 Disagree0

If St Mirren have had any kind of under the table arrangement with Green/Sevco then woe betide them. I can guarantee that CG will spill everything he knows and probably a bit more for effect (get the drift). On a more realistic note this whole Rangers thing really has speeded up the demise of Scottish Football. The punters have been cheated (even if some people still try to tell the rest they won their case) and as soon as they stop believeing then we are done for.
